Fatal 4-Way For The Pride Title
Kyle O'Reilly (c) Vs Bobby Fish Vs Karl Anderson Vs Doc Gallows
We are live on the beaches in South Africa for the 7th annual Supersplash where we have a lot on the line!. Titles will be decided, feuds will be finished all on the sunny beaches of Cape Town. Melissa makes the introductions as the first match on the show will feature a 4 Way for the Pride title in which Kyle will defend against not only his tag team partner but two members who want to bring another title to the Bullet Club. Only one man can win this match so it should be interesting to see what happens with two teams fighting each other. Both Bullet Club members get booed while Fish gets cheered then out comes Kyle who receives the biggest cheer. All four of these men have been feuding as this match gets under way with a lot of double teaming, signature, finishing moves throughout and a ROH feeling in this one. reDragon attack BC fast and furious with quick double team moves and even though this is a 4 way it's almost a tag match. Dragon work down BC with submissions and look for quick pins but it becomes an issue when both want the pin. Bullet Club fight back with clotheslines and now work together taking down Dragon with kicks. Gallows throws Fish outside going to work on him while Anderson stays on Kyle nailing a sitdown powerbomb for a 2.
Anderson continues the beatdown before Kyle fights back with an ax and smash for a 2 count. Gallows slams Fish outside on the sand while Kyle dives onto him but Gallows catches him mid air so Fish gets on the top but it's stopped by Anderson who now gets on the top with Fish. No way...SUPERPLEX FROM THE TOP ROPE BY FISH TO ANDERSON ONTO GALLOWS AND KYLE!. Fans let out the first holy shit chant of the night as Fish rolls Anderson in the ring...1...2...Gallows stops it with an elbow. Samoan drop to Fish before a running leg drop by Doc for a 2 which Kyle now stops. Kyle hits three rolling double underhook suplexes followed by locking in a triangle choke but Karl attacks him while Kyle saw it coming so he locks Anderson into a guillotine choke as well!. Fish goes to the top rope and nails a frogsplash to Anderson before a reverse suplex to Gallows. Dragon decide to work together on Anderson with a Tilt-a-whirl backbreaker by Fish and a diving knee drop from O'Reilly. They then work down Gallows with a Wheelbarrow hold by Fish followed by a double underhook DDT by O'Reilly, who just pushes him into a wheelbarrow suplex by Fish to Gallows!. Dragon seperate while focusing on one man each as Fish nails a Fish Heel Hook as Kyle locks in the ARMageddon lock...1...2...Gallows kicks out from Fish who now stares at Kyle not knowing what to do.
Fish wants to win this match but Kyle is about to make Anderson tap out. Gallows knocks Fish onto Kyle which stops the submission but Kyle thinks it was Fish who did it so he asks him what is he doing?. Fish tries to explain but here come BC charging...Dragon avoid it as BC collide into each other. Dragon put aside their problems looking for their finisher as Anderson is lifted into a vertical suplex lift by O'Reilly followed by a roundhouse kick to his back by Fish and finished with a brainbuster by Kyle the Chasing the Dragon. Kyle wants to pin Anderson but Fish is looking right at him...DOUBLE LARIAT FROM GALLOWS STOPS THEM BOTH. Gallows nails Fish with a choke powerbomb before attack Kyle by whipping him to the outside but it gets reversed. Both men are fighting on the outside apron...BACK DROP DRIVER to Kyle on the apron knocking him to the floor by Gallows. Double axe handle by Gallows onto Kyle from the apron as Fish is now back up. Fish sees what is going on outside so looks for a dive onto Gallows as he runs the ropes...STUN GUN BY ANDERSON!.
Karl got up while Fish was focusing too much on Kyle outside and caught him with his finisher the Stun Gun!. Kyle fights back spearing Gallows into the barricade while Anderson is pinning Fish in the ring...1...Kyle slides back into the ring...2...GALLOWS GRABS HIS FOOT...3...HOLY SHIT WE GOT A NEW CHAMPION!. In our first match of the evening Karl Anderson becomes PRIDE Champion without even pinning the champion while bringing another belt to the Bullet Club!. Things don't look good for Angelico later on tonight as Anderson/Gallows celebrate the win walking up the rampway while Kyle gets into the ring as Fish stands up. Fans are booing Anderson winning as Fish tries to explain to Kyle what happened. It can't be good knowing you lost your title because your partner was pinned but it wasn't his fault and at least Kyle looks good for not getting pinned. Kyle just stares at Fish before leaving the ring, walking off up the rampway shaking his head looking upset as we fade away with Fish left alone in the ring shouting sorry and looking sad, 12:45.
Cross-Brand Triple Threat Matchup
Daniel Bryan Vs Mike Bailey Vs Andrew Everett
Up next is a three way cross brand match in which three different brands will compete against each other. It's always nice when brands compete against each other because we get matches we have never seen before and might never never see because they're not on the same brand. All three men have had ups and downs recently with both big wins and losses for all. Melissa introduces all men who get big reactions from the fans because they're all popular. This is a huge match for Speedball/Everett because they're wrestling against Daniel Bryan which is a big thing itself. All three men shake each others hand as the match begins, PWG feeling in this one also with a lot of signature/finishing moves attempted throughout this one. Fast action between the three of them with quick reversals and moves before a stand off. Speedball knocks Everett out the ring as Daniel hits a dropkick to Speedball before looking for the kicks but Everett kicks Daniel instead. Falcon arrow to Daniel for a 2 as Speedball stops it before nailing a back drop driver turned into a knee gutbuster for a 2. Daniel kicks both men over and over before a double roundhouse kick. Daniel goes to the top rope...headbutt to Speedball but Everett moves out the way in time and nails a crucifix pin for a 2 count on Daniel.
Everett throws Daniel outside, runs the ropes and hits a huge spring shooting star taking him out while Speedball is up in the ring, charges the ropes and dives onto both with a twisting corkscrew plancha. All men are in the sand as Speedball comes back to his feet. Kneesault from the apron to Daniel as Everett throws Speedball into the barricade. Everett jumps off Daniel's back throwing himself into Speedball!. Everett is more of the heel out of all the three while he throws Speedball back in the ring and goes up top. Daniel is now back up and on the top rope looking for a superplex to Everett but Speedball gets involved as well making it a tower of doom superplex powerbomb!. Speedball pins both for 2 counts before looking for a side russian but Daniel gets involved as well...triple side russian suplex!. Daniel whips both men to each corner then nails several dropkicks to each side over and over. Daniel locks in a scorpion tarantular around the ropes on Speedball as Everett comes in to break it up but Daniel rope hangs Everett's neck and goes up top. Everett quickly gets back up, jumps onto the top...SPANISH FLY/C4/FLUX CAPACITATOR FROM THE TOP ROPE TO DANIEL...1...2...SPEEDBALL STOPS THE COUNT.
Fans are going crazy as Speedball/Everett have it out with each other while Daniel is out in the corner. Everett whips Speedball to the other side hitting a hard lariat before a monkey toss. Everett signals the end, puts Speedball in position, goes up top...no way...he's going for the double moonsault but Daniel Bryan is up doing the yesses in the opposite corner. Daniel seems to be waiting for Speedball to get up so he can hit the Knee+...DOUBLE MOONSAULT BY EVERETT BUT SPEEDBALL MOVES OUT THE WAY GOING TO THE TOP ROPE NOW AS EVERETT HITS THE MAT SO HARD IT LAUNCHES HIM BACK TO HIS FEET...KNEE+ FROM DANIEL INSTEAD OF SPEEDBALL...1...2...WAAAH TOP ROPE SHOOTING STAR KNEES TO THE BACK OF DANIEL WHICH KNOCKS HIM AWAY FROM EVERETT...1...2...3...SPEEDBALL PINS EVERETT!. What an ending all in one go and a huge win for Mike Bailey as he pins Everett but Daniel still looks strong because he wasn't pinned. Speedball celebrates his victory for himself/brand as fans cheer for him while Daniel stares at Speedball before clapping and shaking his hand. Everett could shake hands as well but after that moonsault/Knee+ he's probably out and/or he's more of a heel so he could be jealous of the hand shake and decide not to shake hands with either of them. Daniel raises Speedball and possibly Everett's hand after the match as we fade away, 11:12.
We go backstage to see Karl Anderson and the Bullet Club celebrating with champagne and the PRIDE belt. They then speak about winning all the matches tonight as Emil walks past them clapping and congratulating Anderson before telling them that they will not be allowed to interfere in any of the matches tonight or else they'll be stipped of ALL their belts and fired!. Bullet Club look on stunned at what was just said as we hear fans cheering in the background.
Womens Battle Royal
Winner Gets A EAM Contract And A Title Match
It is time for our next match of the evening which is a Womens Battle Royal with the winner getting an EAM contract and a title match. There's so much talent in this one but only one woman will get a shot. Hopefully some of the girls if they impress will get a chance later on as Melissa introduces all the competitors in this match while they walk down the rampway receiving a mixture of cheers/boos. Double teaming, signature moves used throughout this one as the bell rings and all the girls start fighting. Nevaeh is the wife of Crist and has been with him at ringside for a while but I guess she doesn't have a contract yet. Becky goes straight to work on Sasha because of the history they have in NXT. Lovelace slams Heez, Sky clotheslines Sassy, Rush works down Bayley, Yim works on Belle and it's a chaotic wild brawl in the ring between the girls. Princess Kimber has been great over the past few years as she military presses Sara Backman high in the air and just throws her over the top rope to the outside sand eliminating her first. Amber O'Neill for those that don't know is the wife of Doc Gallows so maybe that's another reason why Emil told BC they couldn't interfere in any match tonight just incase they would help her. Bayley with a hugplex before eliminating Angie Sky as Scarlett works down Barbi and eliminates her out with a dropkick.
Veda Scott works over Kacee Carlisle eliminating her with a powerslam over the top. Mia Yim with a rana to Lodge followed by a lariat to Rush before throwing out Lodge then Rush!. Mia eliminated two girls but from behind Lovelace almost eliminates Mia but she hangs on. Sasha Banks is waiting behind Heidi Lovelace and just nails her with a facebuster followed by eliminating her. Becky with hard shots to Marte Belle while Sasha tries to eliminate Becky. Astara looks for a dive onto Kimber Lee who catches her then just launches her over the top rope with a powerbomb taking her out!. Neveah neckbreakers Kat Von Heez's neck across the ropes eliminating her. Sassy Stephanie starts dancing in the middle of the ring as all the girls start to notice her before attacking her and throwing her out. Scarlett looks for a handshake to Marti Belle which she does but throws her out behind her back. Amber chokebombs Veda Scott over the top rope eliminating her. We are getting down to the bigger names in this match as Nevaeh celebrates who she just eliminated but Sasha Banks knocks her over and out. Amber hits a Gun Stun to Kimber before one to Scarlett. Amber picks up Scarlett and throws her out before trying to throw out Mia who stops it. Mia lays out Kimber as they both start brawling onto the outside apron back and forth with punches and shots before a double big boot to each other eliminating each other.
What a match those two would have as Mia/Kimber continue to fight after the elimination up the rampway. We are down to four girls as Bayley nails Sasha with a belly to belly. Becky with a bulldog to Amber as Bayley nails a hugplex to Becky but from behind Amber is up...GUN STUN TO BAYLE...SHE REVERSES IT THROWING AMBER OUT!. Amber who's really the heel of this match messes up and gets eliminated by Bayley as fans cheer. Amber is pissed but gets on the apron wanting to shake Bayley's hand...Bayley being the nice person she is does shake her hand...AMBER THROWS HER OUT TO THE FLOOR!. What a cheap move by Amber which Bayley fell for because she's a nice person as we are left with two girls. Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch stand up to a face off before they start fighting and don't forget the great feud they had while in NXT which has moved over to a different promotion. Left/right shots from both girls as Steampunk continues the assault beating her down looking for a DDT to end it...BANKRUPT BY SASHA!. She nails the straight jacket neckbreaker to Becky before picking her up and throwing her out...Sasha Banks wins it!. Some fans boo as they wanted Becky but that's the way it goes as Sasha celebrates her victory on the top rope also she now knows she has a contract and a title match down the line but we can't forget about Becky Lynch, Bayley, Kimber Lee, Mia Yim, Nevaeh, Scarlett and Amber who were the stand outs in this match all who deserve contracts as well. We fade away with Sasha celebrating her win, 13:45.
EAM Tag Team Titles Matchup
The Young Bucks (Nick and Matt) Vs The Dirtsheeters (John Morrison and Shelton Benjamin)
Up next is the EAM Tag Team Title match in which Dirtsheeters want revenge for losing the tag titles without even being pinned. Bullet Club are banned from ringside the entire night so the Bucks will have to do this alone. Dirtsheeters get a big cheer while Bucks receive boos from the audience as Melissa makes the introductions and this match begins. PWG/ROH feeling in this one with a lot of double teaming, signature and finishing moves throughout as Dirtsheeters work down Bucks fast wanting the win quickly. Fast tags from DS'ers working down Nick Jackson with a leg lariat/leg drop/elbow combo for a 2 but Nick comes back tagging in Matt who goes after DS'ers. Matt with quick kicks which is stopped by DS'ers who double suplex him over the top rope to the floor. Morrison with a parkour dive over the top rope as Benjamin looks for one as well but in comes Nick with a x factor facebuster then quickly jumps to the outside apron nailing a moonsault to Morrison.
Bucks get control in this one as three men fight on the outside but Benjamin is finally back up. Benjamin with a tope con hilo laying out all men before throwing Nick in for a 2. Benjamin nails an exploder suplex before a straightjacket german bridge for a 2 which Matt stops. Matt takes out Benjamin with a cravate driver as Morrison comes in from behind hitting the Moonlight Drive outta nowhere. Morrison with the around the world leg drop to Matt while Nick nails a superkick to Morrison's face then looks for one on Benjamin...SUPERKICK PARTY TIME...Benjamin grabs his foot, spins it around which kicks Matt in the face then Morrison kicks Nick in the face followed by Benjamin superkicking Nick then turning that into the t bone suplex...1...2...NO Matt breaks it up. Party failed for Bucks as DS'ers put Matt in an electric chair while Benjamin goes to the top rope and nails a blockbuster as Matt was in the electric chair!. DS'ers are dominating while Morrison positions Nick in the corner looking for the Starship Pain but he moves out the way before charging into Nick who nails a superkick to Morrison and one to Benjamin!. Bucks signal the end on Morrison ...MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK...1...2...BENJAMIN breaks it up in time. How embarrasing would it be if Bucks lose the belts so early on especially since Bullet Club have so many.
Benjamin takes out both Bucks with the Gold Standard before signalling the t bone to Nick into the corner but Matt superkicks Benjamin in the head stopping him as Morrison comes in trying to superkick Matt who ducks so he superkicks Benjamin by accident. Matt throws Morrison to the outside then nails a huge senton dive onto him as Nick sets up the finish!. Indytaker time as Nick is about to tombstone Benjamin while Matt gets on the apron...MORRISON grabs his foot in time, gets onto the apron looks for an elbow smash but both Bucks double superkick Morrison at the same time with one from in the ring and one on the apron!. Morrison is out as Bucks signal the end...INDYTAKER THE SPRINGBOARD SPIKE TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER TO BENJAMIN...1...2...3 DONE!. Bucks get the win keeping their tag titles in beautiful fashion. DS'ers looked good, started off strong and even stopped the superkick party but it wasn't enough as the fans boo while Bucks celebrate the win. Bucks are about to leave the ring but decide to bring in Morrison from the outside as well. Come on stop this, you've already won but the Bucks still do it anyway. Matt goes to the apron while Nick tombstones...MELTZER DRIVER TO MORRISON LAYING HIM OUT COLD!. Bucks destroy DS'ers once and for all possibly ending this feud for good in Bullet Club heelish style attacking after the match. Bucks walk up the ramp as we fade away with both DS'ers laid out in the ring, 12/13 minutes.
Falls Count Anywhere Matchup
Chris Jericho Vs AJ Styles
Melissa makes the introductions for our next match of the evening which is a Falls Count Anywhere contest in which Jericho will try to get revenge on AJ Styles after everything that's happened to him. This feud has been going on for a while now and has escalated to this match which could go onto the beaches of Cape Town. AJ gets boos while Jericho gets cheered as this match begins and remember there is no Bullet Club in this match so AJ will have to win by himself. Signature/finishing moves in this one as Jericho attacks AJ early on looking for a Codebreaker...no AJ turns it into a Styles Clash but Jericho grabs his legs reversing it into a Walls of Jericho...AJ reaches the ropes but it doesn't matter so he pulls himside to the outside which breaks the hold. What an opening to the match as fans are going wild already but Jericho wastes no time by diving onto AJ then working him down with punches. Jericho whips AJ into the steel steps but AJ reverses sending Jericho into them. Jericho comes back fighting fast as AJ runs around the ring trying to avoid him so Jericho follows. AJ jumps over the barricade as Jericho charges after him but then cleverly pushes them into Jericho on the other side before getting into the ring, running the ropes and nailing a fosbury flop onto him outside...1...2...Jericho kicks out. AJ spears Jericho into the barricade several times before jumping onto the apron doing the moonsault reversed DDT on the outside...1...2...Jericho kicks out.
AJ stands on the barricade showing great balance looking for a 450 but Jericho pushes the barricade which crotches AJ!. Jericho takes apart the barricade ramming it down on AJ's knees/legs before placing it across another piece of barricade and the ring apron making a platform. Jericho puts AJ under it and does a slingshot sending AJ's face right into the barricade...1...2...NO AJ kicks out. Jericho then drags AJ around on the sand by his feet and his back must be hurting like hell especially with how hot it is here in Cape Town. Jericho continues to pull AJ now into the crowd down onto the water front!. Jericho continues pulling but AJ stops it by throwing sand in Jericho's eyes and we can see how red AJ's back is after that. AJ's still hurting which gives Jericho enough time to fight back nailing a DDT onto the sand...1...2...NO AJ kicks out. Jericho now puts sand in AJ's mouth haha which fans love before Jericho throwing AJ into the water!. Jericho jumps onto him and both men are fighting in the water with Jericho mocking him by dunking his head in it as AJ tries to escape by crawling away but Jericho pulls him back under. Jericho then locks in the Walls of Jericho while in the water with AJ's head underneath it!. It's a pretty sick thing to do but fans are loving it however, AJ manages to escape because it's so slippy crawling back into the water.
Jericho then digs a hole in the sand putting AJ's foot inside then both of his feet and now AJ's stuck in the sand!. Jericho has literally buried AJ's legs in the sand then begins to kick away at AJ's back/front which sends AJ crashing chest first into the sand then back first into the sand as well!. Jericho tries a pinfall but it's impossible because it would break his legs so Jericho just kicks him in the back sending him face first into the sand. Jericho then grabs a bench, climbs on top looking for a leg drop but AJ sits up just in time then headbutts Jericho's body several times before escaping the sand. AJ is pissed so tries to bury Jericho's head in the sand but Jericho fights it off with chops and elbows before looking for a suplex. AJ reverses it and suplexes Jericho through the wooden bench!...1...2...Jericho kicks out. AJ drags Jericho back to the water in revenge for what he did before signalling the end looking for a Styles Clash but Jericho reverses out of it turning it into a Codebreaker which springs AJ right back into the water!. Fans are going wild for this as Jericho tries to get into the water making the cover but the referee doesn't know what to do. Jericho finally reaches AJ's body but Jericho pulls the referee in as well telling him to pin!...1...2...AJ kicks out somehow. The referee made a splash after that count with fans/announcers laughing at what's happening while Jericho pulls both AJ and the referee out of the water bringing AJ back to the ring in a fireman's carry but charges him face first into the turnbuckle post.
Jericho celebrates with the fans as a fan gives him a drink which he drinks then smashes over AJ's head before a beach towel which Jericho wipes himself with before whipping then strangling AJ with!. Jericho high fives some fans followed by him throwing a few more objects from the fans into the ring. Jericho looks under the ring finding a table then sets it up onto the guardrail from earlier!. A table is now set up on a guardrail which is laying on the edge of the ring and another piece of guardrail that keeps the fans back. Jericho throws AJ into the ring then goes up top nailing a dropkick to AJ...1...2...AJ kicks out somehow. AJ backs off into the corner while Jericho picks up the beach ball he threw in a minute ago and throws it at AJ in the corner!. I think Jericho is just enjoying this beating also because Bullet Club can't help AJ out. Jericho then grabs an umbrella/parasol he threw in and just starts hitting the beach ball between AJ's legs into his balls like it's a golf club!. Jericho powerbombs AJ onto the beach ball which makes it explode...1...2...NO AJ again kicks out!. Jericho starts whipping AJ with the umbrella before placing it on top of him...LIONSAULT FROM JERICHO BUT AJ HAS HIS KNEES UP!. AJ stops Jericho's attack as both men are down but Jericho gets up first then comes over to AJ...PELE KICK OUTTA NOWHERE. AJ then starts whipping Jericho on the back with the umbrella then throws it into the audience in anger. AJ has some time in the corner to recover as he goes back over to Jericho...IN THE EYES WHAT WAS THAT!?. Jericho threw something into the eyes of AJ...it was suntan lotion from when he brought in the fans items!. AJ is blinded and dizzy...ROLL UP FROM JERICHO...1...2...AJ kicks out.
Both men take a while to get up but AJ's crawled onto the outside apron as Jericho comes in charging but AJ catches him with a forearm knocking him down. AJ is looking for a springboard 450 but Jericho's up in time...CODEBREAKER CATCHING HIM IN MID AIR WHILE HE'S COMING DOWN...AJ HANGS ONTO IT, REVERSES THE ATTEMPT AND FLIPS AJ INTO THE STYLES CLASH...1...2...JERICHO KICKS OUT SOMEHOW!. Wow what a match this has been as AJ looks on stunned but wastes no time going over to Jericho just kicking him before squeezing the suntan lotion onto Jericho in revenge for earlier. AJ goes to the top rope looking for the finish...SPIRAL TAP...JERICHO MOVES OUT THE WAY...LIONSAULT FROM JERICHO TO AJ...1...2...NO HE KICKS OUT!. How are both of these men still going after this as Jericho looks to the corner. Jericho places AJ on the top rope looking for a superplex but stops and sees the table/rail outside. Jericho goes to the outside apron looking for a superplex from the top rope?! wait no Jericho looks for the rana from the top rope!. Jericho's taking too much time...RANA...NO, AJ HOLDS ONTO HIS LEGS TURNING IT INTO HIS FINISHER...STYLES CLASH FROM THE TOP ROPE THROUGH THE TABLE AND GUARDRAIL CRASHING TO THE OUTSIDE SAND HARD!!!...COVER...1...2...3 IT'S OVER!. What a crazy bizarre match but right at the end AJ wisely changes Jericho's rana into a Clash sending him through the table and bending/breaking the guardrail which Jericho set up earlier. Jericho got some revenge on AJ for everything that's happened to him but AJ still gets the win at the end. AJ has pretty much beat Jericho every single match which is a pretty rare thing to do however, it just shows you how good AJ is. We fade away with both men being helped by officials to the back with fans clapping for both men, 20/25 minutes.
EAM Womens Title Matchup
Mickie James (c) Vs Jessica Havok
The womens title is on the line in our next match as Mickie James wants to defend the title she won a while back in an insane Cell match which saw Ronda debut and we have not really seen her since. Havok got this chance by winning a #1 match. Havok gets boos while she comes to the ring while Mickie makes her entrance getting a huge cheer. You can't count out Havok in this one because she is tough even though most people are thinking Mickie is going to win. TNA feeling in this one and even before the introductions are made Havok dives through the ropes onto Mickie whileshe walks down the rampway!. Havok wastes no time spearing Mickie into the ring apron followed by whipping her into the turnbuckle post. This is a smart idea from Havok although a cruel thing to do as Havok wants to finish this match early on. Havok nails a scoop slam on the sand before a running back senton. Havok throws Mickie back into the ring as the bell just rings...1...2...Mickie kicks out. Havok signals the end already...HAVOKILLER SITOUT POWERBOMB...1...2...NO Mickie kicks out again!. This match has barely started and it already looks like it's finished. Havok whips Mickie to the corner hitting hard clotheslines before a Harlot Slayer chokeslam for another close 2. Havok looks for her finisher and this match has been so quick because of what Havok did. THE DEMON DROP...Mickie gets off her shoulders, runs the ropes and nails the lou thesz press.
Mickie nails an implant DDT before a flapjack with kip up. Mickie signals the end already...MICKIE-DT...1...2...HAVOK KICKS OUT. This match has been so fast Havok kicks out because it was just too early on. Bray's been on a roll but Cole wants a win since he's just returned and can he stop Bray's streak right now. Cole makes his way to the ring with a mixed reaction while Bray gets boos. WWE/ROH feeling in this one with signature/finishing moves attempted throughout as this match begins. Both men go at each other fast attacking hard with brutal shots but Bray gets the best of it with hard shoulder block takedowns. Three running back sentons for a 2 count from Bray before looking for one on the top rope...Cole moves out the way in time. Cole nails elbows followed by a legdrop for only a 1 count. We go backstage for an interview with the challenger for the Ornate Prime title match tonight. This is one of the biggest matches of the night with Angelico even being from here so he really wants to get the win in his country. Omega has had the title for quite a while when he beat Cesaro for it on Jamboree but ever since that Bullet Club have been taking over and winning all belts. They've won so much tonight so there's no way Omega wants to lose tonight because the Bullet Club all want to leave with wins and belts but can Angelico stop the momentum of them?. Angelico speaks about how happy he is to be in EAM and how much he's done so quickly here and he wants to continue it on by beating BC in his home country. He says he's stopped BC every single time and that continues tonight...wait...here comes Omega. Kenny says how dare they interview you before your match just because you're the hometown hero and challenger for my title. You should be interviewing the champion not him. Omega then says BC can't interfere in the match tonight but Emil didn't say we can't do anything before it. Sadly AJ is not with us right now because of what happened tonight but there's still five of us and one of you. Angelico is laughing this entire time and doesn't look scared at all. Bullet Club then slowly surround Angelico who starts to look a little bit bothered by it now.
We cut back to the ring where Melissa is making the introductions for the match. She introduces Angelico who gets a huge cheer from the crowd but is nowhere to be seen so she tries it again and Angelico is nowhere to be found. She asks an official in the corner what to do so she introduces Kenny Omega first instead. Omega walks down the ramp smiling with a smug look on his face, sunglasses and with the title over his shoulder as he enters the ring waiting in the corner. Angelico is introduced again but doesn't appea...oh wait there he is!. Angelico runs out from the side of the entrance ramp onto the rampway but Bullet Club are chasing after him. Angelico is trapped from each side with a Bullet Club member circling him on the entrance ramp. Angelico doesn't know what to do but then sees something next to the entrance way. There's a beach house/hut right next to the stage/entrance area on the beach now Angelico runs to the hut with BC chasing after him. Angelico circles around the BC trying to lose them but he's circled once again so he looks up. The fans start to surround this scene as Angelico starts climbing the 20 foot beach house/straw hut!. Angelico is high up on top of the beach house as Omega runs up the entrance way as well. BC try to climb the beach hut but keep slipping off the straw however Angelico is stuck up on top with nowhere to go. Karl/Doc then start speaking to each other about something as Doc runs backstage. Omega tries climbing as well but Angelico kicks him back down as Doc comes back over to the beach hut.
Oh no...Doc has a lighter what the hell is this?...DOC JUST LIT THE BEACH HOUSE ON FIRE!, that is sick!. BC are trying to burn Angelico out who now tries to come down the side of the entrance ramp way of the beach hut. BC come after him that way now standing on the entrance way laughing and mocking him as this looks like something out of the wicker/burning man!. Angelico is surrounded by the fire, stands up, looks all around and realizes he can only do one thing. Angelico...NO WAY...WAAAH HOLY SHIT...ANGELICO DIVES 20/25 FEET HIGH OFF THE BURNING BEACH HOUSE ONTO THE BULLET CLUB ON THE RAMPWAY!. Holy fucking shit the fans are going wild!. Angelico is right back up, grabs a hold of Omega and runs him down the rampway into the ring!. Angelico is completely insane taking out the BC before bringing Omega to the ring to fight him and the BC can't do anything about it!. Angelico wants to stop BC's perfect night with the luck he's been having as he rolls Omega into the ring while the bell rings!. Angelico goes right to Omega in the corner with kicks before a bicycle kick...1...2...Omega kicks out. Angelico nails a Superman Senton for another close 2 but Omega kicks out again. What an insane opening as fans are still going wild and Angelico got the biggest cheer of the night so far. Angelico with a sitdown powerbomb for a close 2 count again, LU/PWG feeling in this one. Angelico works down Omega's legs looking for the Cruc but Omega kicks Angelico off in time.
Angelico charges at Omega who nails a snap DDT out of nowhere...1...2...NO. Omega starts to get back into it working down Angelico while insulting him. Omega nails a missile dropkick before three suplexes including the dragon rebirth, revolution and rush for close 2's. Reverse rana from Omega as he hits a springboard moonsault for another 2. Omega whips Angelico into the corner hitting the Tony Jaa and as he comes out nails the EX Hadouken...1...2...NO. Omega is in full control of this match which has started to slow down a bit. Omega goes to the top rope looking for a 450 but takes too much time as Angelico moves out the way. Angelico with a springboard 450...1...2...NO Omega kicks out. Angelico goes to the top rope...DOUBLE STOMP...1...2...Omega kicks out again. Angelico finally locks in the Cruceta Invertidas reverse figure four and Omega is in trouble...he reaches the ropes in time. Angelico looks for a facebuster as Omega comes back with a Flash Man's Time Stopper enzuigiri before the One Winged Angel electric chair driver...1...2...Angelico somehow kicks out!. Omega is looking for the end Aoi Shoudou...Angelico reverses it into a side russian suplex and jumps into a double foot stomp again...1...2...Omega kicks out!. Angelico looks shocked but tries it again...FALL OF THE ANGELS NO OMEGA WITH A YOSHI TONIC SUNSET FLIP...1...2...Angelico rolls through, looks for kick, Omega ducts and lands behind Angelico...OH NO...CROYT'S WRATH'S THE ELECTRIC CHAIR DROPPED INTO A GERMAN SUPLEX...1...WHAT!?. ANGELICO KICKS OUT AT 1!?. Omega looks on in complete shock at what just happened. The fans are going insane for Angelico chanting this is awesome as Omega looks pissed. Omega looks for the Croyt's Wrath once again but Angelico reverses out of, lands behind Omega, turns him around...FALL OF THE ANGELS THE POWERBOMB TO THE TURNBUCKLE AGAIN. Angelico though goes to the top rope...BAAAM DOUBLE STOMP...1...NO WAY...2...3 HE GOT IT YES YES YES!. Angelico beats Omega for the title and he's barely been here for a month?!. The fans are going insane and it has to be the biggest cheer of the night and biggest win of Angelico's career. Bullet Club come running down from backstage into the ring but Angelico avoids all of them ducking and diving away from them before running into the crowd!. Bullet Club is left screaming angrilly in the ring with Omega pissed!. Angelico spoiled BC's perfect night once again in his hown country. We fade away with Angelico celebrating laying in the fans with his title while BC are going crazy in the ring, 14:32.
EAM Title Matchup

It is now time for our main event of the PPV which is for the EAM World Title. Orton has started from the bottom but made his way back to the top while Ambrose has been a dominant champion for almost a year. Paige and Leon will be at ringside tonight but the women can do whatever they wan't and they won't get DQ'd. We've already had a couple of title changes tonight so it looks good for Randy Orton even though Ambrose is no joke champion. No man has ever kicked out of his Dirty Deeds DDT finisher and even though this is a match between them for the title there's a good chance that another one might take place if Orton wins however in these type of situations there's normally a three match rule with someone getting two wins and the other getting one but this is EAM and we don't like cliches here so anything could happen!. Ambrose could win, Orton could win, Ambrose could win the rematch, Orton could win the title in the next or final match there's just so many possibilities. Orton makes his way to the ring with Mandy getting a huge cheer while Ambrose makes his entrance with Paige getting huge boos but he doesn't care. Both men stare off with each other as Melissa explains the rules and makes the introductions as this match begins. WWE feeling in this one with signature/finishing moves throughout.
Both men go at each other fast attacking each other with kicks/punches/throws with Orton getting the best of Ambrose early on. Hip toss/snapmere exchanges with quick pins as well. Both girls remain fair and don't interfere which means the guys probably told them to do so because we don't want this match ruined with interference. Ambrose with a bulldog before going up top nailing a diving elbow drop for a 2. Ambrose with a falcon arrow before working on Orton's arms and it seems he's looking for the chicken wing which he locks in but Orton quickly escapes. Ambrose with a diving crossbody with punches then firing up nailing a double underhook suplex for a 2 count. Orton makes a comeback with a neckbreaker, back drop driver and knee drop before the around the body kicks which is stopped with a foot to the head by Ambrose. Orton whipped into the corner with Ambrose jumping onto the top rope hitting a tornado DDT for a 2 count. Ambrose nails a knee strike to Orton which sends him outside the ring. Suicide dive from Ambrose to Orton in the sand followed by a suplex on the sand as well before Ambrose throws him into the ring getting a 2 count. Ambrose with several snap elbows but on his last one Orton moves out the way. Orton makes a comeback with the lou thesz press and a swinging neckbreaker before whipping Ambrose into the ropes nailing a powerslam for a close 2 count.

Orton looks to be setting up for it but Ambrose pushes him off with slaps/punches sending him into the ropes followed by a running dropkick to Orton leaning on the ropes. Ambrose lays Orton across the middle before nailing a leg drop from the top rope for a 2 close. Ambrose picks up Orton up nailing the Hook and Ladder...1...2...Orton kicks out!. Ambrose is starting to look pissed as he now waits for Orton to get back up looking for the Nigel Lariat. Ambrose runs off the ropes...NIGEL LARIAT...BAAAM RKO OUTTA NOWHERE...1...2...NO Ambrose kicks out!. Ambrose looked for the lariat but an RKO reversal for a close 2. Orton has turned the match around as fans are going wild cheering him on but Paige is now on the apron. Orton is looking for another RKO but Paige has caused a distraction while the ref goes over to get her down but here comes Leon pulling Paige off the apron spearing her down to the floor!. Leon/Orton want revenge for everything Ambrose/Paige has done to them. Orton turns around with Ambrose still out from that RKO as he looks for another one. RKO FROM ORTON...NO AMBROSE REVERSES IT...BAAAM DIRTY DEEDS DDT...NOBODY HAS EVER KICKED OUT OF THAT MOVE...1...2...WHAT!? ORTON KICKS OUT!. Orton is the first ever man to kick out of the DDDT!. Ambrose is in complete shock and no matter what happens if Orton wins or loses he can still say he kicked out of the DDDT.
Ambrose is now looking for his old friend's finisher the curb stomp...Orton ducts out the way, grabs a hold of Ambrose's head, puts him on the second rope...ROPE HUNG DDT...1...2...PAIGE PULLS ORTON LEG!. Paige stops Orton from winning this match by pulling him out of the ring!. Orton is pissed at Paige as she slaps him across the face but here comes Leon diving onto Paige again!. Orton rolls back into the ring but Ambrose is waiting for him as he comes in...CURB STOMP TO ORTON...1...2...LEON PULLS AMBROSE OUT OF THE RING!. This is insane but Leon gets revenge for what Paige just did haha!. Ambrose is pissed and OMG HE SLAPS HER TO THE GROUND WHAT AN ASSHOLE!. Ambrose rolls back into the ring going for a cover on Orton who cradles Ambrose...1...2...Ambrose rolls over...1...2...Orton turns...1...2...both men roll out of it. Both men charge at each other with Orton nailing a perfect dropkick first and fires up before going to the corner...is he looking for it?!. Orton looks for the Punt kick...WAIT...PAIGE IS ON THE APRON, GRABS HIS NECK PULLING IT DOWN ON THE ROPE WITH THE REFEREE WATCHING KNOWING HE CAN'T DO ANYTHING...ROLL UP FROM AMBROSE...1...NOT LIKE THIS...2...3 DAMN IT NO NO NO!. Ambrose beats Orton in bullshit fashion and this just isn't fair because it keeps happening!. Ambrose celebrates in the ring but the referee looks pissed before speaking to the official. Melissa gets on the mic revealing that the referee has decided that because of the constant interference by Paige and Mandy Leon which also caused the ending of the match he has decided that even though the rule is that both women can't get DQ'd he is sick and tired of the interference and because he is the referee he has the final say and the fans deserve a legit real ending so therefore he is now restarting/continuing the match and removing Paige and Leon from ringside!.
THE FANS ARE GOING WILD!. The referee knows the match can't end like that and doesn't want to screw over the fans so decided because the women were involved at the end to send them both to the back and continue the match fairly!. Ambrose is pissed shouting at the ref that he pinned Orton!. Both women fight up the rampway to the back as Orton is still out in the ring but has a second chance at winning fairly!. Ambrose wastes no time looking for the curb stomp again...CURB STOMP...WAAAH ORTON'S NECK SENDS AMBROSE FLYING INTO THE AIR WHAT A REVERSAL...BAAAM RKO COMING DOWN...1...2...WHAT?! AMBROSE KICKS OUT!?. Ambrose has kicked out of two insane RKO'd while Orton has kicked out of the DDDT. What a match this is as Orton just doesn't know what to do but walks to the corner looking for his original plan. Orton's looking for the punt...AMBROSE MOVES OUT THE WAY WITH A REVERSAL ROLL UP...1...2...ORTON KICKS OUT NOW!. Ambrose just looks so shocked how can he beat Orton? this must be his toughest challenge yet but gets right up to start mocking Orton saying that you'll never beat me, I'm better than you and I'm gonna end you right fucking now!. Ambrose runs the ropes...BAAAM NIGEL PENDULUM LARIAT TO ORTON SENDING HIM INSIDE OUT...1...2...NO ORTON KICKS OUT!. Ambrose finally nails the lariat but Orton kicks out with Ambrose just looking like he's lost his mind as fans are going wild chanting RKO for Orton.
Ambrose knows now what he has to do as he stands up, cranks his neck and is going for it one final time. DIRTY DEEDS DDT...ORTON REVERSES OUT OF IT, LANDS BEHIND AMBROSE...LOOKS FOR A BACK DROP DRIVER...WAAAH RKO!!!. ORTON FLIPPED AMBROSE OVER FROM A BACK DROP DRIVER INTO AN RKO THAT'S NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE...COVER...1...2...3 IT'S OVER HOLY SHIT WHAT A SHOCKER!!!. After all the bullshit that Ambrose has to Orton and after everything Orton has been through trying to scratch his way back to the top of the mountain it's happened here tonight. Wow did anyone think we'd have a new champion at Supersplash and really in Orton/Ambrose's first match. Maybe some people thought this feud would end up with three matches with Orton winning in the third but what a shocker here tonight!. Orton celebrates with fans going wild as Ambrose is laid out on the mat. Mandy comes down the rampway running into the ring to hug Orton and she's clearly crying while Paige comes out to help Ambrose now on the outside of the ring. What a match with Ambrose looking great but Orton just that little bit better.
Suddenly music cranks the speakers, and The Chairman himself walks out on the stage clapping his hands. He congrats Orton on the impressive win. Ending Ambrose's almost one year reign as champion. But that's not the only reason he is out here. Because, as champion, Orton needs opponents. And if you thought you would face Ambrose again right away...Nah... I've got other plans.
