Show opens with a promo from The Ornate Prime Champion;Keith Lee, where he challenges all four members of The Undisputed Era to a match at the upcoming PPV. 4-On-1. If anyone of the members of Undisputed Era manages to pin Lee, Cole will be the champion. But if Lee manages to pin any of the members of Undisputed Era. Neither of them will get a shot at The Ornate Prime Championship as long as Lee is champion! We cut to the show's vignette...
Pretty original stip. Thought it would be elimination or whoever pins him but cool.
We go to ringside where the EAM Womens Tag Tea Champions are making their entrance, walking down to the ring from a mixed reaction from the audience. Sasha and Bayley's attitute has changed as of late, now they put everyone down, thinking they are better than everyone else. They make their way to the ring where they are handed microphones. Both are carrying the EAM Womens Tag Team Titles. Sasha wears it around her waist while Bayley prefer to drape it nonchalant over her shoulder, as she doesn't give a fuck what people thinks. Sasha is the one to start talking, and she is really just continuing from where she left at Spotlight when she got interrupted by Beth Phoenix and Sara Del Rey. She continue on how there was no revolution in womens wrestling before they entered the scene, and how they made way for everyone else coming after them. Bayley then takes over, saying that it's not like they don't respect the pioneers and what they did for the sport. It's just.....they don't respect them! This get some major heat from the audience, but it's just like throwing fuel on a fire as Bayley tells everyone to shut up, because she is going to tell you the truth about the so called pioneers and legends of this business. Neither of them where signed because of there talents, because they had none. No, the reason they where on the top was because of their looks. She understand it's not really their faults, but that's how the business was back then. The business now are completely different. It's got top notch talent and athletes that can do things in the ring that they could just dream about. It's just a lucky coincidece that we happen to be the most beautiful women in EAM history as well. More heat from the audience, but Sasha and Bayley are just fed by it. But in all the noise their focus are not concentrated around the commentators tables, so they don't realize that one of the tables are missing it's commentators. They turn around only to get knocked down simultaneously by Beth Phoenix and Sara Del Rey. They don't stop there. They pick them up. Dual powerbombs to the champions! Beth and Sara has had enough of their badmouthing. Beth picks up one of the microphones, then she tells both Sasha and Bayley, that if they really are what they say they are, they would have no problem accepting Beth and Sara's challenge for a match at the upcoming PPV? After all, Beth and Sara are just senior citizens that's never accomplished anything. They don't wait for an answer. Did anyone really expect they would? Beth and Sara leaves the ring and gets back to their chairs, leaving Sasha and Bayley to themselves, who helps each other out of the ring and up the ramp. The EAM Womens Tag Team Champions might just be up to their biggest challenge yet. And they better back up their words, or else those washed up, never has beens could end up as NEW EAM Womens Tag Team Champions. And who would like that to happen??? We cut to the back.
Should be awesome. Kind of a dream match.
We go to Renee Young who is about to interview Cornelius Crummels and Sonny Defarge, as they are quite new to the EAM roster and they are jerking the curtain tonight so to speak as they are going up against Hanson and Rowe from The War Raiders. Renee wonders what their thoughts about EAM Promotions and the competion so far. Crummels says it's so different from what they are used to, but they are prepared to show everyone why they got signed to the roster, as they think of it as a big honor. It's a opportunity they won't let slide away from them. As for War Raiders, they are a though team, but their charades does not scare of intimidate either Crummels or Defarge. After all, where they come from, there are everything from Swamp Monsters to Hermit Crabs. Not to mention a Viking twice the size of Hanson and Rowe. They are prepared for everything! BAAMMM! Not for everything it seems, as War Raiders ambush them and it turns to a brawl backstage at the gorilla position. And these two teams where supposed to start the show. The fight are after a short while taken trough the gorilla position and out on the stage, but god knows if they will ever get to the ring so we can make this match officially under way.
Tag Team Matchup
Cornelius Crummels & Sonny Defarge Vs War Raiders (Hanson & Rowe)
They get ready to fight and here comes Raiders. BAAAM LARIAT/DROPKICK/POWERBOMB. MILITARY PRESS INTO THE UPSIDE DOWN SPEAR...1...2...3...GOOD GOD. Raiders just buried them!. They are pissed about losing the titles.
As we get back from commercial break we see Adam Page walking out of his locker room while he's talking on the phone. He says he could really need some help, as this situation is getting out of hand. He cannot walk 10 feet without locker over his shoulder. Then he says that if that somoene can help him, he has some news about the so called elite, that might be interesting. He does not get to say one more word, as Marty Scurll comes from behind with a steel chain and wraps it around Page's neck. He makes a couple of turns with the chain and thigtens, choking Page out while telling him that obviously Page is deaf, or stupid. Or maybe both. Because he clearly can't take in a simple message. He continue to thigten the chain as Page franticly tries to get out of it, but it's no chance. He quickly surrenders and Scurrl drops the chain. Leaving a Unconscious Adam Page alone on the floor.
Possible match set up. Even a chain/dog collar. Could have worked with an umbrella because Marty uses that and also wears a fur coat/mask.
EAM Tag Team Titles Matchup
La Parks (c) Vs The Young Bucks
Solid match from both teams. High flying, back and forth action and big bumps. Both teams are heels and fight it out. More Bang for Your Buck 1 2 3!. OMG BUCKS ARE CHAMPIONS!. Wait no Selina helped the leg!. Some fans boo but smart move. Parks fight but distract the referee. Selina nails a rana on Jackson but the referee sees!. THAT’S IT...HAHA THE REF DQ’S PARKS!. Bucks win the match but not the titles. Hmm maybe even done on purpose to keep the titles.
We go backstage and hook up with Alexa Bliss and Leah Von Dutch as they are on their way out of the arena, as they are not schedule to wrestle tonight. Leah asks Bliss what she thinks that special opportunity the chairman was talking about is. But Alexa says she's got no idea. But whatever it is, they will make the best of it. This is the start of something big, she can feel it. The chairman has recogniced their work. The only thing they have to do now is to seize the opportunity...
Hmm feels like it’s leading up to a turn. Something Alexa would do.
Cross-Brand Matchup
Dominik Dijakovic Vs Andrade
Solid match from both men. High flying, back and forth and big spots, bumps and signature moves. At the end Andrade looks for the 619 but he gets caught and turned around into a back breaker piledriver for the 3 count. Dom’s putting them away.
As we get back from commercial break Adam Cole together with his entourage are being interviewed by Maria. She asks what they are going to answer Keith Lee, who earlier put down a challenge to all the four members for a match at the upcoming PPV. Cole says that offcourse they accept his challenge, because they are The Undisputed Era, and that belt is rightfully his. And his boys has promised him to do anything to help him get it back. Anything.....
Should be so much fun these kind of matches.
Tag Team Matchup
Lars Sullivan & Braun Strowman Vs Pete Dunne & Will Ospreay
Awesome match here. Some huge double team bumps and spots from all throughout. High flying and dives outside the ring from everyone as well. At the end of the match Lars and Braun keep topping each other with power moves. Lars and Braun powerbomb Dunne and Will into each others back. Cover for the 3 and Lars/Braun face off with each other. They did good together. Maybe they should stay a team.
Before we go to commercial break we get the announcement from the commentators that because of the happenings earlier tonight between Adam Page and Marty Scurll, the general manager of Jamboree has decided to suspend Marty Scurll. As behaviour like that is unacceptable. Music then interrupts the commentators as the arena speakers cranks up and Adam Page walks out on the stage. He sees ok, but a bit bruised. He makes his way with determined steps down to the ring where he gestures for a microphone. He wastes no time, calling out Marty Scurll, saying he is a coward and that he doesn't scare him. He then begs the general manager not to suspend Scurll, but to rather book him in a match against Page at the PPV. A match that's never been done in EAM before. A match well fitting as punishment for Scurlls behaviour and actions. A Hangman's Horror Match! General manager Randy Orton's face then appears on the titantron. He says " Ok " that sounds like fun. Let's do that instead. But don't disappoint me, thinking I made the wrong decision. We cut to commercial break...
Oh nice makes sense new gimmick. I wonder if it’s like a bull rope/dog collar match or both.
As we get back from commercial break, we get a promotional video hyping up the upcoming PPV, On A Pale Horse. Aleister Black is sitting in a graveyard. There are candles lit all over, and he is sitting cross legged on top of a coffin. On a wooden cross beside him is the name Trevor Mann. Aleister once again cut's one of his cryptic promos, and this might even be the most cryptic one yet. " Time reveals. Time repels. Time does not heal. Wondering who you are. Friend? Or Foe? Is the hardest thing of all. But betrayal and skulduggery is not what friends do. So I guess you are my enemy after all. But the past doesn't matter, as I have said. Because at the next PPV, it will all be lain dead.....
Three Layers of Ricochet could end at the PPV.
Singles Matchup
Charlotte Flair Vs Becky Lynch
The match does not take place as we see Jax backstage fighting with Isis the amazon!. Charlotte and Becky aren’t happy with it but that’s the way it goes. Probably best if they don’t fight right now. Would hurt both.
We go backstage where we hook up with the chairman Emil A. He's in his office, talking to someone, but the camera is placed in such an angle that we cannot see who he's talking to. He tells whoever it is that's he's got a proposal. Something he think neither can refuse. We know understand that it is more than one person he is talking to. He says he really don't care if they like each other or not, because he is the one in charge around here, so if he says something, that is the law. He want to make that perfectly clear. He also wants to make it perfectly clear that he wants them both in the roster, as he think both have unique potential. Not to mention, they draw money. That's why he suggest they team up. Settle the differences and rather work together. Because he is pretty sure both will gain on doing just that. It's a unique chance to show yourself off, whetever you like each other or not. Because he like to think they are both professionals. So, with that being said. He will give them a chance at gold at the upcoming PPV. Tag Team Gold. We cut back to the arena.
Interesting.
Triple Threat Matchup
Chris Jericho Vs Kenny Omega Vs Orange Cassidy
Cassidy does nothing just walking around the ring just relaxing with the fans...while the other two fight it out.
Jericho and Omega quickly teams up, beating down Cassidy, but then help comes from unexpected places as Jon Moxley comes to Cassidy's aid. He single handedly beats down both Jericho and Omega, throwing them out of the ring before helping Cassidy back up. The fans does not approve of Jericho and Omega's actions, as Cassidy is one of the biggest fan favorites in EAM Promotions right now. Jericho and Omega leaves up the ramp, chickening out. Neither Moxley or Cassidy makes any effort to go after them. The only thing Moxley does is a gesture, pulling his finger over his throat. A very clear signal to the members of The Villain Club. We go to commercial break.
Haha I thought randomly that Moxley and Cassidy are the opposites of each other and could actually work as a bizarre team. 3 way ending in a no contest is rare.
**********
As we get back from commercial break, the members of The Golden Monkey Brotherhood and Claudio Castagnoli is already ready in the ring as The Dynasty makes their way out on the stage to massive booo's from the audience. MJF has a microphone and reminds everyone that they was to pick a fourth member of their team from this match, and they have. He says that they just bumped into someone that actually asked them if he could be on their team for this match. Music then cranks the arena speakers.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bO7TyBHrO0k . Mixed reaction from the crowd, but a big reaction none the less. Chris Hero goes against his long time friend Claudio and joins The Dynasty for this matchup!
Manhattan Street Fight
The Dynasty (MJF, Richard Holliday & Alexander Hammerstone) & Chris Hero
Vs
The Golden Monkey Brotherhood (Paul London, The Brian Kendrick & Pac) & Claudio Castagnoli
Huge match here. Nice surprise with Hero. Been a long time since we’ve seen him but as KO I think. They fight all around the ring and into the crowd. Big spots from all men. Hero and Cesaro fight it out the entire match. Big high flying bumps as well with London and PAC diving off a 15 foot balcony in the crowd. BAAAAM KENDRICK POWERBOMBED THROUGH AN ANNOUNCE TABLE BY DYNASTY. WAIT A MINUTE PAC AND BOTH HOLLIDAY/HAMMERSTONE HAVE CLIMBED THE SCAFFOLD NEAR THE STAGE...WAAAAAH ALL 3 OF THEM FALL INTO SOME TABLES. Holy shit chant from the crowd. MJF in the ring with London taking him out. MJF thinks he’s won this one but Cesaro takes him out from behind. HERO ATTACKS CESARO FROM BEHIND. CRAVATE SUPLEX. CESARO FIGHTS BACK WITH A SWING AND NEUTRALISER...COVER...1 2 3 IT’S OVER!. Cesaro gets the win and revenge on Hero!. Big win.
Before the show comes to an end, we go backstage where we hook up with Ricochet back in his locker room He's standing in front of the mirror. Totally still, just looking at his own image. Then we hear a voice, like in his head. " Who are you? " No reply. Ricochet are still just standing, looking at his of reflection. We then hear fragments of what Aleister Black has been saying about Ricochet the last weeks. Ricochet then suddenly screams and smakes the mirror to pieces with his hands. It shatters, but some parts are still hanging back in the frame. As Ricochet looks up again, we see the reflection of him in the fragments still intact. But what we see are three different, if not people, at least personas. As what we see in the reflection of the broken mirror are threefold. Prince Puma. Ricochet. And.....Trevor Mann....The show ends as the camera fades to black...
Awesome ending. The last call for Ricochet.
