How's it going guys. Haven't been here in a while but when I heard this I knew I needed to make an appearance.
Anyways I'm am deeply sad of the passing of Chris Benoit. I have been a fan of his for years. I remember him back in WCW. I met him on two occasions. One were he was a heel and then last month at a house show in my hometown. I will deeply miss him as he was a great wrestler and great person.
And I don't see him killing anyone or himself. It's just not Chris Benoit!

Just blind conjecture here, but what if a mother killed a child and the father killed the mother out of grief and anger? Then killed himself out of the grief of his entire family being dead? I am not saying this is what happened but the point is, conjecture ahead of known facts is just that and judgment and minds being made up should wait for those facts. People often prosecute before they know everything.
-
Because the wife was killed on Saturday, Son on Sunday. Which means Benoit missed these WWE events over the weekend for 'family emergencies' aka killing his family.
If this is true, I appologize for speaking ill of the dead, but if its true, what a sick bastard
And yeah, I cannot see Benoit killing anyone.
-
Just remember nothing has been confirmed yet. So we don't know what exactly happened.
-
If he did I wouldn't give him 1 cent of respect, besides for what he's done in the ring, thats dispicable.

Update (Jun 25th):
The following is from WWE.com:
According to lead investigator Lt. Tommy Pope, of the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department, in Fayetteville, Ga., the deaths of WWE Superstar Chris Benoit, wife Nancy and son Daniel were the result of a double murder-suicide, WWE.com has learned.
Benoit failed to appear both at Saturday’s live event in Beaumont, Tx., and WWE’s Vengeance: Night of Champions in Houston Sunday night, after informing WWE of a family emergency. Several curious text messages sent by Benoit early Sunday morning prompted concerned friends to alert Richard Hering, VP of Government Relations for WWE, Inc. Hering, in turn, spoke with Fayette County sheriffs Monday, and requested that they respond to the Benoit residence to check on him and his family.
Authorities representing the Sheriff’s Department initially had a difficult time entering Benoit’s new Fayetteville home Monday afternoon, which had been guarded by two large German Shepherds roaming freely around the property. Once authorities entered the residence, they quickly located the bodies of Benoit, Nancy and Daniel. WWE was notified of the discovery at approximately 4 p.m.
At 10 p.m. Monday night, Lt. Pope held a press conference in conjunction with Scott Ballard, the district attorney for Fayette County. The press conference officially ruled authorities’ findings as a double murder-suicide from within the home.
WAGA, a FOX-owned and operated television station in Atlanta, reported that investigators believe Benoit killed his wife and 7-year-old son over the weekend, then himself on Monday.
The three bodies have been received by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s crime lab, in Decatur, Ga., where autopsies will be performed Tuesday morning. Toxicology reports will not become available for at least two weeks.
WWE.com has further information relating to both the investigation and the cause of death, but the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department has requested that WWE.com not release any additional details at this time.

See what I don't get is why would Benoit fly home to kill his family? There's something not adding up. If there was a family emergency and he flew home for it. Then why do people think he killed his family and his self? Obviously he wouldn't of cared much for his family. It just doesn't add up.

The saddest news from WWE. Its a shocking news to whole world....
I am speechless.

Benoit and Family
Please don't let this be true... He is (was) one of my wrestling heroes. How he gave himself up to train the younger talent...I can't sleep...I got home to watch RAW and the first thing I see is "In Memory of Chris Benoit..." I was confused...I thought it wasn't himself in trouble...I now realize what they meant by a family emergency...it truly was...as the story unfolds I'm horrifed...a man I respected...killing a seven-year old child...please don't let this be true...WWE is dead if the rumors are true. Their present storyline is dead. Their rep is destroyed. Even Vince can't stand without crying. How will people wrestle knowing that a person they respected MURDERED...Like Edge (Adam in interview) said, he can't make sence of this and is very confused. Every superstar is and will continue to be. How can fans watch and wrestlers wrestle while being mentally distraught because of confusion...I can't stop thinking of how the son must have been in the largest amount of pain ever, and if the rumors are true, I'm sure that pain lasted more than the weekend. A child fill of pain and unable to live a life. I'm mortified. I'm confused. I'm in agony. RIP Benoit and Family. I'm back. Still can't sleep...Benoit did do it-he said goodbye to Chavo...knowing what he'd do. That sick, twisted psycho. Yeah he was great in the ring, but what an f'd up guy! I have no respect for the "man" (monster). Chavo knew something was different! Why didn't he call Benoit's wife? He could have prevented this all. Not to blame Chavo, but I wish he did something! A SEVEN year old kid! This has got to be a nightmare! Please don't let the rumors be true!!!!

It's all disgusting, if it's true. There are also rumors that Benoit's wife killed his child, then Benoit killed her and himself, but that is probably just someone trying to at least make Benoit not look as bad.
We all have to face it sooner or later: Benoit is most likely a murderer. He (allegedly) killed his wife and his SEVEN year old child. I don't care how good of a wrestler he was, that does not excuse him of anything, and not a single person should glorify him if this is the case.
My prayers go towards the other children and family of Chris Benoit, as well as his wife and child that have been striken down. As for the "RIP Chris Benoit", "only the good die young", and "you will be missed" messages, everyone should get rid of these immediately. Chris should not rest in piece, he was not good, and he will not be missed.
That being said, I am still hoping that this is not the case, but that is pretty much an empty hope.
-
i'm with you all. i'm praying and hoping that the story of him killing his wife, his kid and himself are all false. i hope they find a different cause to it all. because i dont see why he would want to kill his wife and his kid in the first place, i just hope none of that is true
-
Wow, just wow. Man, this is fucking crazy.
-
ALL I can right now is that I'm stuned. This is the worst thing that could happin to the wwe and pro wrestling Period. My god his son was only 7.If this is a murder/suicide then why chris why!
-
wrestling will never be the same again this is one of those moments that will change wrestling forever even if Benoit didn't murder anyone this will change everything
RIP Chris Nancy Daniel i'm sorry this happened to you
-
you never know..one day you wake up and you dont wanna live anymore.....i dont know what to say im shocked!!!
-
i am truly shocked
so saddening
-
I have to believe with all by being that Benoit would not be capable of murder. This has to be some sort of freak accident, and I hope to God it is. Rest in Peace Benoit and his family, you will be missed dearly.
-
i am not gonna believe that Benoit is a killer till the autopsy reports are out
-
not sure where to post this so ill put it here..
Trish Remembers Chris
We at TrishStratus.com are deeply saddened over the loss of Chris Benoit. Trish had this to say:
"Chris was an incredible person, wrestler and friend. To the wrestling business he is the epitome of excellence, an example of dedication and passion, someone who lived their dreams. I shared many moments with Chris, I had the privilage of being his tag partner, we shared a Canadian heritage, we even shared a gap tooth, something that we laughed about years ago. Nancy was a beautiful person inside and out, it was always a pleasure to share a conversation with her, her smile lighting up a room. Their son Daniel rounded out a beautiful family.
My thoughts are with the family, friends, as well as others whose lives Chris and his family touched. What an amazing life. I am deeply saddened by Chris' passing, and humbled by all that he was able to accomplish".

Fayetteville, Georgia - Authorities investigating the apparent murder-suicide of professional wrestler Chris Benoit, his wife and their seven-year-old son said on Tuesday the details of the deaths may seem a "little bizarre" when released to the public.
The family was found dead on Monday, and authorities were investigating the deaths as a murder-suicide, and were not seeking any suspects outside the Fayette County home. Investigators believe the 40-year-old Benoit killed his wife, Nancy, 47, and son, Daniel, over the weekend, then himself on Monday.
Fayette county district attorney Scott Ballard told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, "The details, when they come out, are going to prove a little bizarre."
Those details may emerge after the completion of autopsies scheduled for Tuesday.
Ballard told The Associated Press a gun was not used in any of the deaths. But he declined to say how the three died.
"We're pretty sure we know, but we want to confirm it with the crime lab," Ballard said early on Tuesday.
Fayette County Coroner CJ Mowell did not immediately return phone calls. The answering service for his funeral home said he was out of town.
World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) said on its website that it asked authorities to check on the wrestler and his family after being alerted by friends who received "several curious text messages sent by Benoit early Sunday morning".
Pope said the three were found about 2:30pm, but he would release no other details about the deaths.
Stamford, Connecticut-based WWE also said on its website it had further information on the deaths, but had been asked by authorities not to release it.
Benoit, a native of Canada, was born in Montreal. He was a former world heavyweight champion, Intercontinental champion and held several tag-team titles over his career. He was known by several names including "The Canadian Crippler".
"WWE extends its sincerest thoughts and prayers to the Benoit family's relatives and loved ones in this time of tragedy," the federation said in a statement on its website.
Benoit was scheduled to perform at the "Vengeance" pay-per-view event on Sunday night in Houston, but was replaced at the last minute because of what announcer Jim Ross called "personal reasons".
Benoit maintained a home in metro Atlanta from the time he wrestled for the defunct World Championship Wrestling.
The WWE cancelled its live "Monday Night RAW" card in Corpus Christi, Texas, and USA Network aired a three-hour tribute to Benoit in place of the scheduled wrestling telecast.
Benoit's wife managed several wrestlers and went by the stage name, "Woman," The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
They met when her then-husband drew up a script that had them involved in a relationship as part of an ongoing story line on World Championship Wrestling, the newspaper said.
