The Lake Monster In Roemsjoen

Or Rømmie as known by locals, is a supposed lake monster said to inhabit the lake of Rømsjøen, Østfold/Norway. Several sightings has taken place, and stories of something in the water goes back hundreds of years.

Global Underwater Search Team visited the lake in 2002, without finding any evidence of Rømmie.

In 2011, the Mayor of Rømskog promised a reward of 10.000 Norwegian Kroner, if anyone could give him proof of the creature's existence.
