    For Grandslam 18!!!

As a part of the whole Grandslam weekend, with meet and greet, conventions and everything that follows such a spectacle, EAM Promotions has decided to bring back to life a concept that has not been in use for the last years, and that is Ken Anderson's " One Man " Talk-Show; " HYPED! " We cut to the location where then show is taped...

    Ken:
Ladies and gentlemen! My name is Ken Anderson!!!..........Anderson!…And THIS… is… HYYYYYPED!”

    Crowd pop.

“And tonight? Ohhhh tonight isn’t just any night… this is the preview… the breakdown… the dissection of the single biggest event in all of EAM Promotions”

    “Grandslam 18 BABY!!!”

    Ken Pauses and smirks.

“18 years of storytelling. 18 years of grudges. 18 years of careers made… and careers ENDED.”

“And I’m here to do what I do best—talk louder, talk better, and hype it more than anybody breathing.”

    Suddenly music plays...

    “…Wait—wait a second… no, no, no—this isn’t on my rundown…”

Camera cuts to the stage as Luis Guzmán walks out, calm, confident, soaking in the confusion.

    KEN ANDERSON:
“Okay… okay… I know that face… I LOVE that face… but what are you doing on my show?!”

    LUIS GUZMÁN:
“Ken… Ken… relax, papi... You talk a lot, man. I like that. But you’re talking about my brand now.”
    “You see… everybody’s focused on Grandslam…”

    “The legends… the retirements… the big-money matches…”

    “But I’m looking past that.”

    “I’m looking at Season 18.”

“I’m looking at the future of EAM Promotions…”

    “And that future… is eXpand.”

    KEN ANDERSON (mock offended):
“Ohhhh so now we’re hijacking HYPED! for a corporate announcement?!”

    LUIS GUZMÁN:
“No, no, no… this ain’t corporate.”

    “This is opportunity.”

“That Showcase match you just brushed past?”

    “That’s not filler.”

    “That’s the FOUNDATION.”

“At Grandslam 18… I’m not just watching talent…”

    “I’m scouting.”

    “I’m choosing.”

“I’m deciding who becomes the FACE… of eXpand.”

“And let me make something VERY clear…”

    leans into camera

“To anyone who can count themselves so honored that they are in that match… you’re not fighting for a win…”

“You’re fighting for your entire future!!!”

    KEN ANDERSON:
“Oh I like this guy… I REALLY like this guy…”

“So let me get this straight—you’re saying that match might be the most important one on the entire card?”

    LUIS GUZMÁN:
    “I’m saying…”

“While everyone else is fighting over what they already are…”

    “My match decides who’s NEXT.”

Guzmán starts to walk off, then stops

    “Oh—and Ken?”

    “Keep talking…”

“…because I might be watching you, too.”

    Music hits again. Guzmán exits.

    KEN ANDERSON:
    “…Okay.”

    “…Alright.”

“…I came here to hype Grandslam…”

    “But now?”

“Now we’re talking about people fighting for contracts… careers… and a brand that hasn’t even STARTED yet. I need a couple of seconds to refocus right not. Run Grandslam commercial! "

30-Women Rumble Matchup For The Vacant EAM Womens Championship
This match was booked after the board had a meeting regarding the future, not only of the EAM Center of Attention Championship, which Mickie James is the current holder of, but unable to defend at the moment. Chairman Emil A. decided it was time to bring back the original EAM Womens Championship while " freezing " Mickie's reign until she is clared to compete again. Then Spotlight GM Quinn McKay announced that the match will open the entire Grandslam 18 show. We don't have all the contestants at this point, probably as some of them are kept as secrets, but we know for a fact that the following women will be competing in the matchup; Wendy Choo, Nikkita Lyons, Kamille, Kris Statlander, Tessa Blanchard, Deonna Purrazzo, Charlotte Flair, Natalya Neidhart, Raquel Rodriguez, Stephanie Vaquer, Taya Valkyrie and Candice LeRae. That means there is still eighteen spots left to fill that we don't know at this point. It's anyone's match really. Who will walk out as the NEW EAM Womens Champion?

    Shawn Michaels Vs Shawn Spears
A match twenty years in the making! (We see the iconic clip from WWE when HBK superkicks " Stan " backstage) And that is literally what made the backdrop for this matchup. For a whole year, ever since Grandslam 17, Spears has been making HBK's life very chaotic, culminating in being decieved to sign a contract for a match on the grandest stage, so Spears finally could get his revenge, and humiliate Mr. Grandslam at Grandslam!

Randy Orton & Jon Moxley Vs Hafthor & Eddie Hall
After making their comeback in EAM, Hafthor and Hall decided to go unconventional and unorthodox ways to get what they wanted, which was a shot at the EAM Tag Team Championships at Grandslam. But after making mincemeat out of every tag team in the division, general manager Randy Orton still wasn't convinced they deserved it, at least not before one final test. So in a moment of pure surrealism, something the EAM universe never thought they would see, Orton formed a team with Jon Moxley, telling Hafthor and Hall that if they beat them, they would be added to the EAM Tag Team Championships match later the same night. Not only does the EAM fans get to see a dream pairing they have been waiting for like in forever, but there is suddenly stakes involved as well!
EAM Mixed Tag Team Championships Matchup
Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch (c) Vs Cm Punk & AJ Lee
This might be one of the most personal matches on the entire card, and the match really doesn't need any introduction. So much history, so much tension and feelings. It's easily one of the biggest mixed tag team matches you can get in pro wrestling, and you are getting it at Grandslam 18.

Eli Drake, Orange Cassidy & Logan Paul Vs Rex Steiner, Scott Steiner & Rick Steiner
The newest faction in EAM, who is now officially calling themselves " The Algorithm " with Aaron Stevens as a self-proclaimed Mastermind behind it all, managed to piss of Rex Steiner and did a whole thing about it. It all lead down to this point, where " The Algorithm " made it personally, and The Steiner family who is known to most wrestling fans to solve problems the old fashioned way, challenged the " influencers " to a matchup on the stage where Legends are made.
    EAM Television Championship Matchup
    Hook Vs David Benoit
Hook has had 1 Grandslam match before this. David has had 3. Will this be his last? The stakes are high, as David has put his career on the line against Hook, a man he has never beaten, for the possibility to win back the only title he ever held in his pro wrestling career. This is more than personal. Hook is fighting to defend his title, but David is fighting for a name. A Legacy. A future...

Open Challenge For The EAM Womens Tag Team Championships
Piper Niven & Nia Jax (c) Vs ?????
After beating every possible tag team the business has to offer, or EAM at least, Piper and Niven was so fed-up by the lack of competition that they put down an open challenge for the titles at Grandslam. And as to quote Piper and Nia themselves " It will be an easy payday, and we can take the rest of the night off " It will surely be interesting to see who walks out on that stage, accepting their challenge.
    Singles Matchup
Kenny Omega Vs The Invisible Man
Have Kenny Omega truly gone bonkers, challenging The Invisible Man to a match? Is is insanity? Is it art? is it a candidate for match of the night? I don't know, but knowing Omega, on a good day, he can easily wrestle a five-star classic with thin air.

    Carnival Of Chaos Matchup
    Danhausen Vs Prince Devitt
There is no secret that Danhausen is one of the most misunderstood, but also most deranged individuals on the EAM roster. During the season he has made it project, trying to learn how to be phenomenal, how to be casual, how to be demonic... all leading down to this showdown of comedy and chaos. (Ken also makes a comment about how this is a shade of Grandslam 17, as Danhausen faced off against Orange Cassidy in a similar match - Carnival of Souls)

    EAM Intercontinental Championship Matchup
Colt Cabana (c) Vs " The Home Town Man " Cody Deaner
There has been some commotion on SoMe after this match was announced for Grandslam, as many fans felt it wasn't a worthy match for the card. Not only that, but that Cody Deaner not only didn't deserve to debut on Grandslam, but get a title match at that. Colt Cabana went out on SoMe and made it pretty clear that if you hate the idea so much, do something else while Colt whoops this Carnys ass. Go make a sandwich or smoke a joint or something. But you will miss out on a treat you didn't know you wanted.

    Singles Matchup
Ava Raine w/The Rock Vs Noelle Foley w/Mick Foley
A short recap of why we are even here shows us the back and forth bickering between Ava and Noelle during the year, not only on SoMe or other channels, but also during EAM shows. This all culminated backstage at Night of The Slammies where Ava was a special guest host together with her dad. And when family was brought into the picture, things got personal pretty quick. Not only that, but history can be a cruel mistress, making something much bigger than it ever had any right to be. With their dad in each respective corner, there is nobody who expects a wrestling clinic out of this. But that something interesting and memorable is gonna happen, is almost already written in stone

    Singles Matchup
    Johnny Gargano Vs Will Ospreay
It's a first time ever encounter who should be any real wrestling fan's dream match. Nuff Said!

8-Man Tag Team Matchup For The EAM Tag Team Championships
Lucha Bros (c) Vs Young Bucks Vs Hardy Boyz Vs TBA
The greatest tag teams in EAM Promotions clash once again, this time at Grandslam, but with a possible wildcard thrown into the mix. Either way, every EAM fan know what to expect from some of the (if not) greatest tag teams on the planet.

    EAM Primetime Bitch Championships Matchup
Jade Cargill (c) Vs Lash Legend
Jade Cargill has been a dominant force, destroying all competition, holding the title for almost a year at this point. But that was until EAM signed Lash Legend. At Grandslam 18, Cargill will no doubt be put to her biggest test to date. (A Match that WWE was to cowardly to do) Can Lash Legend do the unthinkable, dethroning Cargill in her debut match, at Grandslam? This is a match you don't want to miss, as two amazons clash in what could be a match for the history books.

    Ornate Prime Championship Matchup
Claudio " Cesaro " Castagnoli (c) Vs WALTER
The rivalry between Triple C and WALTER goes deep. It's beyond personal at this point. Claudio and Keith Lee is the only two in history to hold the Ornate Prime Championship twice. Can WALTER add himself to that group after Grandslam? Or will Triple C once again show both WALTER and the EAM universe, why just he is WALTER's biggest rival?

    Singles Matchup
    John Cena Vs AJ Styles
Two Legends. One final time. As Grandslam 18's main event is a double-retirement matchup, as both Cena and Styles has officially announced that this match will be their last. It's not much more to say really.
No titles! No rematches! No remorse! No tomorrow! Just a legacy left behind by two of the biggest stars the industry ever saw.

    Ken:
" Well, that wraps it up folks. Grandslam 18 won't just be a show, but so much more. It’s an ending… a beginning… and a whole lot of chaos in between. I suggest you prepare yourself, and stack up with lots of snacks, beverage and whatever floats your boat, because this is gonna be GRAND!

Music suddenly cut's Anderson off again....

    Ken:
“…Oh you’ve gotta be kidding me.”

    MJF:
    “Cut my music! CUT IT!”

“Did I just stand back there… and listen to you—YOU—run down the entire Grandslam 18 card…”

“…and not ONCE… NOT ONCE… mention the EAM World Heavyweight Champion?!”

    The crowd booooos

“No, no, no, don’t boo me—you idiots should be booing THEM!”

“I am the champion of EAM Promotions!”

    “I am the main event!”

“I am the reason people buy tickets, click streams, and pretend they understand wrestling!”

    “And you’re telling me…”

    “I don’t have a match?!”

    Ken:
    “Whoa, whoa, whoa… Maxwell… Maxwell…You done?”

“Because I heard something a little different.”

“I heard… and hey, this is just what I heard…”

“That the reason you’re not on the Grandslam card…”

“…is because you haven’t exactly been showing up to work.”

    Crowd reacts...

“That when you DO show up… you don’t take your matches seriously.”

“And that championship you’ve got over your shoulder?”

    points at it

“You don’t take that seriously either.”

“I heard the board looked at you…”

    “…looked at that title…”

“…and said—This guy is a disgrace to the belt "

    “And because of that?”

    “Grandslam 18…”

    “…will be the FIRST Grandslam…”

    “…since Grandslam 1…”

“…WITHOUT an EAM World Heavyweight Championship match.”

    MJF:
    “…A disgrace?”

    “…A DISGRACE?!”

    gets right in Anderson’s face

    “I MADE that title relevant!”

    “I MADE this company must-see!”

“You think any of these matches matter without ME?!”

No. No, no, no—we’re not doing this.”

“You don’t take ME off Grandslam.”

    “I don’t get ‘left off.’”

    “I don’t get ‘punished....Nobody punishes me! "

    “I am DEMANDING justice!”

“I don’t care if it’s the board, management, or whatever suits you’ve got hiding in the back—”

“You fix this… or I fix it myself.”

“And if I don’t get my match?”

“Then I’m walking out there at Grandslam 18…”

    “…with THIS title…”

    holds it up high

“…and I’m issuing an OPEN CHALLENGE.”

    " To anyone! "

“And if they don’t like it?”

    leans into camera

    “Too bad.”

“Because I am not just the champion…”

    “I am this FREAKING COMPANY.”

MJF throws away the mic and leaves....

    Ken:
    “…Wow.”

    “…Okay.”

“So now we’ve got a champion with no match…”

“…threatening to hijack the biggest show of the year.”

“Grandslam 18 just got a whole lot more unpredictable…”

    “And something tells me?”

“…this isn’t over.....but, this episode of HYPED! is over, for now. Next time we see you, it will be Grandslam 18! "

    " With or without a champion.... "

Ken looks around the studio as the show ends.....
