Jeff Hardy has provided a new update on the neck injury that has been plaguing him since October, revealing that he has begun a new treatment as he pushes toward a full recovery.

Hardy recently spoke with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard about his condition. The Charismatic Enigma has been dealing with bulging discs in his neck since The Hardys dropped the NXT Tag Team Championship to DarkState's Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin in a Broken Rules match at WWE NXT Halloween Havoc in October.

"I'm super excited for my neck to fully heal. I've been dealing with bulging discs ever since Halloween Havoc, when we dropped the [NXT Tag Team] titles.

"It was that finish, it's one of those things where it looked like I landed flat. My head was turned to the right, and it was like a whiplash. It felt terrible, the way my head hit the mat."

Hardy went on to reveal that he has started a new recovery protocol, telling Prichard that he recently began taking peptides in an effort to accelerate the healing process.

"So yeah, I'm super excited to get this thing fully healed, man. I started taking some peptides yesterday, so hopefully, that's going to help out a lot," Hardy said.

The peptides revelation is the latest chapter in Jeff's recovery journey. His brother Matt Hardy previously shared on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast that the team has been consulting with medical professionals and that Jeff prefers to heal as naturally as possible rather than undergo surgery.
