Angel Garza ended Monday Night Raw by thanking fans for never jumping off the ship, a statement that landed with particular weight given everything that preceded it during the show.
Garza and his cousin Humberto Carrillo made a surprise appearance on Raw, only to be squashed by Oba Femi in a dominant two-on-one handicap match. The appearance itself was unexpected, given that both men are technically part of the SmackDown roster, with the Raw match being their first appearance on the Monday night show since a battle royal in 2023.
Shortly after Raw ended, Garza posted on X.
"Thank you to everyone who never jumped off the ship and kept supporting the Garza Legacy through it all."
The combination of a surprise cross-brand appearance, a one-sided squash loss to one of WWE's most protected rising stars, and a statement that reads more like a farewell than a routine post-show message all point in one direction. Bryan Alvarez had previously flagged both Garza and Carrillo as names to watch amid the ongoing wave of WWE roster cuts.
Garza and Carrillo made separate singles debuts on WWE's main roster in 2019 and were paired as a team in 2021. Garza competed at WrestleMania 36, teaming with Austin Theory in a loss to the Street Profits. The two won the AAA World Tag Team Championships at Triplemania last June before losing the titles to Psycho Clown and Pagano in August. Since then they have appeared regularly on SmackDown, Main Event, and house shows, though their win-loss record has been largely one-sided, with Carrillo defeating Apollo Crews on Main Event in February standing as their only notable victory in recent months.
No official announcement has been made regarding their WWE status.
