Unhappy ECW Ratings Continue To Plummet - TNA Within Striking Distance

The ratings for this week's ECW show on Sci-Fi are in and they are not good. The 58th week of ECW TV averaged a 1.31 rating with an average audience of 1.6 million viewers. This was the 2nd smallest audience ever for ECW.

The average rating for ECW on Sci-Fi since the show launched last year is a 1.73. The show's ratings have dropped considerably - and across the board, losing big numbers in all of the key demographics (Men 18-49 and Men 18-34).

These ratings have to be disappointing for WWE. At a time when ECW ratings are falling, TNA iMPACT! has been doing some its best numbers ever and is on the verge of getting expanded to 2 hours. If TNA iMPACT! were to ever surpass ECW in viewership, you can be sure that MAJOR changes would be in store for WWE's "C" brand.
With the pressure on RAW from the USA Network and the declining ratings, TNA on the other hand is picking up and getting better and stronger each week and continuing to build and grow

TNA is doing better because Talent is not misused. The only people I watch on ECW for are Viscera (Because he reminds me of Abdullah the butcher) and CM Punk, Who woulad have, if this were RoH, Kicked Nitro's ass.

Actually, if this was ROH, Nitro wouldn't be near the main event scene. Just because TNA aren't mis-using talent as much as they used to doesn't mean that's the reason for the rating's increase. It's because of the quality show's there putting up. I am happy for TNA and I love wrestling. WWECW this week was fairly entertaining and so was RAW. The reason for drop in rating's on the WWE is because of the Benoit case in my opinion but that shouldn't take away from TNA's hard work.

TNA's highest rating is 1.2. and that was at the best of TNA show. recent weeks they have been at a 0.9. I have no doubt though, that they will eventually out rate ECW if there arent some changes made.

    Tna's ratings past weeks:
    1.2
    1.2
    1.1
    1.0
    1.2
Soon they will overtake ECW and then Smackdown and RAW too all before 2008

Dont go crazy guy. The ratings are good but never seem to change. Unless the numbers go down. I like TNA but I dont think they will overtake RAW anytime soon or later on.

I'm sure ECW will pick up some more ratings after the Benoit thing, because Benoit was meant to be on ECW anyway...
