On Saturday December 29th, National Wrestling Superstars heads down the parkway and over to Seaside Heights, NJ to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish Hall, 100 Grant Avenue (only three blocks from the Route 37 bridge) for not one, but *TWO* huge shows.
The afternoon matinee show at 2:05pm will feature former WWE & WCW star "America's Hero" The Patriot, The Hideous Hillbillies (Cletus & Cooter), the mysterious Resin, and the first-ever Seaside Heights Tables Match with one-time ECW brawler The Equalizer taking on the unpredictable Hyena.
The big evening show at 7:35pm will be highlighted by The World Famous Wrestling Radio Clown, and an even stranger battle as "Stellar" Travis Blake takes on all 400-plus pounds of Saddam Insane in a true David Versus Goliath match. Plus, if any tables are left over after The Equalizer & Hyena's match earlier in the afternoon, they will surely be reduced to splinters as they will have another Seaside Heights Tables Match that evening. They will be joined by NWS Jersey Shore Champion Nicky Oceans, the unpredictable Slayer & much more.
All seats in Seaside Heights are only $15, but as NWS will be in a giving season, they are offering an even greater bargain... a combination ticket for both shows for only $24 (that's only $12 per show).
Tickets can be ordered by phone by calling NWS at 1-732-888-1704. All major credit cards are accepted, and group rates are available for groups of ten or more.

NWS Annual "Holiday Havoc 2007" December 28th-29th With Three Shows on the Jersey Shore Featuring The Iron Sheik, The Blue Meanie, Kevin Matthews, The Patriot & More!
The holiday time is filled with traditions... decorating the tree, shopping for gifts, traveling to visit friends and family, attending a live pro wrestling show...
Wait a minute, since when is pro wrestling a holiday tradition? Well, down on the Jersey shore, it's becoming an annual tradition for the fans of the nation's leader in family-themed pro wrestling entertainment, National Wrestling Superstars.
And that tradition continues in a little over one week from now, as NWS presents its annual "Holiday Havoc 2007" extravaganzas the weekend of December 28th-29th. And even though it's the beginning of Winter, the action will be hot enough to make it feel like it's the middle of the summer on the Jersey Shore.
Friday night December 28th, NWS returns to Long Branch, NJ as Holiday Havoc makes its traditional return to the Seashore Broadway Gym, 404 Broadway (minutes from Route 36 and the Parkway) with a 7:45pm bell time. Headlining the show will be a legend whose presence will be like Santa Claus to wrestling fans of all ages... he's a former WWE champion and hall-of-famer, and is currently collecting new fans as part of The Howard Stern Show... he's the legendary Iron Sheik, and he'll be greeting the fans that night in Long Branch, as well as maybe giving some of the younger wrestlers some expert advice. In addition to the Iron Sheik, a pair of legends from the WWE and ECW will team up, as "America's Hero" The Patriot will join forces with long-time Philadelphia favorite The Blue Meanie. They will bring some holiday cheer to the Long Branch fans by attempting to defeat the hated reigning NWS tag-team champions Ace Darling and Nicky Oceans, who are known as The Psychedelic Sissies (but insist on being called "Studs").
And in another unique matchup, a pair of NWS wrestlers will get the opportunity to do what their fellow wrestlers have dreamed of for years - get revenge on the referees. That's right, in a special Wrestlers-Against-Referees Grudge Match, The Hideous Hillbillies (Cletus & Cooter) will face off against three of NWS' popular referees in likes of S.P. Anderson & Mike "Quick Count" Dillon & Long Branch's own wrestling referee Sargeant Jimmy Storm. In a match which could possibly end up being his retirement match, the unpredictable Hyena takes on his one-time friend, and now sworn enemy from the Neptune area J.C. Rage in a no-holds-barred Long Branch Tables Match. Also on tap will be a Number-One Contender Bout where one-time NWS Regional Heavyweight Champion, Eatontown's evil T.N.T, will try to get back to his winning ways when he takes on Keansburg's battling up-and-comer Corey Havoc. In another bout of local interest, the high-flying Ocean Township native Mikey Pacifica, who has been making huge strides as of late up and down the Eastern seaboard will have a mystery partner (or maybe even multiple partners) in a battle for the vacant NWS Cruiserweight Title Belt. (NWS management has been forced to strip now-former champion Dan Rageous of the belt, and all connections to NWS, due to his personal problems affecting his reliability. We wish him well.)
Tickets for Long Branch are only $17 for adults and $15 for kids and seniors, and all seats are ringside.

The special 2:05pm matinee show will feature one-time ECW brawler The Equalizer taking on the unpredictable Hyena in the first-ever Seaside Heights Tables Match, plus an appearance by former WWE & WCW star "America's Hero" The Patriot. Also on the early show will be area big men standouts Cameron Shaft and Ryan Blackheart, Corrupted Youth and Wasted Youth. The Hideous Hillbillies (Cletus & Cooter) will travel up from the deep South to compete, and the strange Resin will travel up from the bowels of earth to do battle.
The night's action will get under way at 7:35pm and will include an appearance by The World Famous Wrestling Radio Clown and the unpredicatbly insane yet lovable Slayer. The Equalizer and Hyena, assuming they (and Parish Hall) survive their afternoon encounter, will have another Seaside Heights Tables Match that evening. And in another matchup that is sure to be memorable, cruiserweight standout "Stellar" Travis Blake will have his hands full as he battles the 400-pound Baghdad Bully Saddam Insane. NWS Jersey Shore Champion Nicky Oceans will team up with one of the most arrogant and anti-social figures in and out of ring J.D. Smooth, to battle a pair of yet-to-be-named hapless foes.
And NWS will continue another holiday tradition, low prices on gifts, as these potential stocking stuffer tickets are only $15, but for those who have been doubly nice this year, NWS is offering an even greater bargain on a double ticket for both shows for only $24 (that's only $12 per show).

NWA Upstate WrestleBowl 08' Update
Fresh off their shocking victory over Rhythm and Booze for the NWA Empire Tag Team Titles in Buffalo, NY, The McCloud Brothers have signed the dotted line to face a team fresh off of LOSING the 6 Man Tag Team Titles at "Holiday Hangover." The new formed masked duo of Super Assassin and Triple X will give it all they've got to establish themselves as a team in NWA Upstate by targeting the brothers from Boston in what's sure to be one of the highlights of Wrestlebowl '08.
In two consecutive shows the new big buddy-little buddy team of Cloudy and Brodie Lee have crashed a wedding proposal and a NWA Upstate No Limits Title Match, and now it seems they've crossed the wrong two people. Irate that their amazing match at "Holiday Hangover" was interrupted by 'CloudLee,' the former opponents Gabe Saint and No Limits Champion Cheech have found a common bond to unite them as they have laid out the challenge for a tag team match at 'Wrestlebowl '08.' Cheech and Cloudy as we all know are no strangers to each other, as the two have held Tag Team Titles not just in NWA Upstate but up and down the East Coast as the team "Up In Smoke." But since Cloudy's friendship with Brodie Lee has come to the forefront, and Cheech has captured singles gold, the two have been at each other's throats for most of 2007 and look to be carrying that rivalry right over into 2008. We will have an interview with one of these two teams posted over the weekend, plus a HUGE stipulation change to one of the already announced matches...so keep checking back often.

12/14 Full Throttle Wrestling results from Fayetteville, TN (CHUCK TAYLOR, RICOCHET, MORE!)
One of the South's best weekly/bi-weekly promotions made a short trip North of Elkmont, AL to run a show at the armory in Fayetteville, TN.
The show opened with Corey Shaddix and Fayetteville, TN's own Jeremy Flynt telling the fans about the fan's strap match that would happen later in the night. Flynt also introduced midget wrestler Enigma to the crowd. He made some comments about Enigma that Enigma didn't like and found himself a victim of Enigma jumping on him and knocking him down.
Chris Castle was our ring announcer for the evening
1) Josh Hendrix & Eddie Paul vs Charlie Swinger & The Other Guy. Swinger and OG tried to take advantage of the inexperience of Hendrix & Paul as a team and it worked for a short while as Paul took punishment from the Man who betrayed FTW(Swinger) and the hated lackey(OG). Eventually due to miscommunication between Swinger & OG, Paul was able to take a man out and allow Hendrix to come off the top rope with an elbow to score the pin.
2) Enigma comes out to find that BodyDrop did not show up but he has a new opponent... "The Great Karl Lee" TERROR... TERROR stands almost 7ft tall and Enigma was NOT happy about this but did not back down. Terror tried to catch Enigma but was unsuccessful several times. Enigma bit Terror's leg and Terror complained to the referee and almost demonstrated what biting is on the ref's neck to show him just what Enigma had done. Test of strength as Enigma climbs the rope and ends up plopping right down on top of Terror! Terror dishes out some punishment on Enigma but Enigma climbs on Terror and puts him in what must have been a killer sleeper hold. Terror passes out to make Enigma the winner of the match!
3) ***TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH*** Jeremy Flynt & Shaun Peete took on the scary & violent team of Prophet and Freakshow w/ Smooth Pleazing in a No DQ match that saw some chair slams on the concrete floor, an impressive fall away slam given to Flynt from Freakshow, and a finish that saw Flynt take Prophet on his shoulders as Peete double stomped him and landed on a chair on top of Freakshow to score the pin and remain your FTW Tag Team Champions!
4) Fan's Strap Match: Corey Shaddix vs Phil Wilson. The ring was surrounded by 12 lucky fans holding belts ready to give a good whipping to whoever came outside the ring. There was no running away for Phil Wilson, who took some brutal slaps from the belts on several occasions. Ref gets dazed from a bump and Phil Wilson uses the opportunity to grab something he's hidden in the turnbuckle! He puts it in his elbow pad and smashes Shaddix to score the pin as the ref regains his composure.
-Intermission-
5) Chuck Taylor vs Jesse Emerson. Taylor came out and threatened some little kids, gave some parenting lessons to a mother using foul language in front of her children, and was his usual cocky self. Jesse Emerson certainly has a challenge on his hands as Chuck Taylor has a VERY impressive record holding singles victories over Ricochet, Drake Younger, Delirious, Josh Abercrombie, Toby Klein, Ian Rotten, Colt Cabana, Arik Cannon, Eddie Kingston, Jay Lethal, Steve Corino. Davey Richards, Billy Roc, Low Ki, Tracy Smothers, Danny Basham, Joey Ryan, Tank, CJ Otis, Mickie Knuckles, Nate Webb, and a plethora of other great wrestlers the local crowd wouldn't know either. Chuck Taylor is the longest reigning IWA MidSouth World Champion and a former IWA MidSouth Women's and Light-Heavyweight Champion. Emerson kept Taylor grounded and prevented him from launching an aerial assault. Chuck screamed several times as Emerson pretty much controlled the match and ended up winning with his fisherman's suplex over one of the most successful young superstars in wrestling today.
6) Ricochet vs Chrisjen Hayme - both men used some great offensive moves in this match. These guys put on a great fast paced match and really delivered. Ricochet did a corkscrew flip over the top rope to the outside onto Hayme that was just unbelievable. Hayme used his experience and size advantage to take down the younger and smaller Ricochet in the end to pick up the victory in the match of the night.
7) ***FTW Heavyweight Championship Match*** Insane Lane vs Mr. Blur w/ The Other Guy special guest referee FTW Commissioner Kurt Nickels. The Other Guy interfered every chance he got despite Kurt Nickels trying his best to keep everything fair. Blur and OG sat Lane in a chair and knocked him over with some running knees. Insane Lane ended up fighting both of them off and retained his title in the end to remain the FTW Heavyweight Champion.
Attendance was probably around 150 and the crowd was mostly dead all night unfortunately. FTW returns home to Elkmont, AL on Tuesday Dec 18th with special guest band Radiotron performing! Feel free to correct me on anything or offer your own comments about yet another quality show from FTW.
Quick Results:
Eddie Paul & Josh Hendrix d. Charlie Swinger & The Other Guy
Enigma d. Terror
Jeremy Flynt & Shaun Peete d. Prophet & Freakshow
Phil Wilson d. Corey Shaddix
Jesse Emerson d. Chuck Taylor
Chrisjen Hayme d. Ricochet
Insane Lane d. Mr. Blur
