Blue Panther thinking about retiring?
Blue Panther said today that he thinks that this could be his last year as a pro wrestler after 30 glorious years and that a mask match with Ultimo Guerrero could be the cherry on top of the sundae. BP said that he wants the match to happen and it’s up to the bookers of EMLL to set a date on this match because he is ready for the challenge at anytime. BP thinks that his experience would be the key to the match and taking Ultimo Guerrero’s mask is a great way to go out on top.
Ultimo Guerrero said that he is also ready to sign the contract for the match and that he knows that he could defeat him. UG went on to say that last night at Arena Mexico was an aberration as he suffered a left knee injury during the match that hampered him but if he is at 100% then he can’t lose against Blue Panther. He acknowledged that BP won the battle last night as he is an excellent wrestler but he hasn’t won the war. UG went on to say though that a match with BP would have to wait a while as he has his TNA commitments coming up and his goal of winning the CMLL Trios Titles with Atlantis & Rey Bucanero as well but he hopes this knee injury won’t force him to miss any action. He is going to visit his doctor today to be evaluated and hopes that he will be cleared to compete.
Los Dinamitas back in EMLL!
Universo Dos Mil told Reforma today that he was glad to get a phone call from EMLL asking him and his brother Mascara Ano Dos Mil to return to Arena Mexico for the CMLL Trios Titles tourney after over 2 months of being absent. U2K said that their goal is to leave as winners and that they wouldn’t have accepted the offer if that wasn’t the case but they are disappointed somewhat that Olimpico is their partner and not one of the Junior Capos due to their affiliation with IWRG. U2K said that family is family but they must deal with the hand that is dealt them and that Olimpico is a great wrestler that will help lead them to victory. U2K said that they are independent contractors but they are willing to work with EMLL anytime. He was also asked about his injured right shoulder and he said that he is back at 100% and that he went through some vigorous training to get back at full strength.
Controversy Over UWA Tag Team Titles...WHAT?
Los Villanos IV y V told Reforma today that they are still wondering why Carlos Maynes authorized a match for the UWA Tag Titles at Dragonmania last month at Arena Mexico between The Hell Warriors (Road Warrior Animal & Power Warrior) against Damian 666 & Damian el Terrible because they thought they were still the champions. They made their last known defense last year in Portland, Oregon and they still own the belts so they wonder why Maynes did that since they were the current champs and UWA mainstays. Maynes hasn’t talked to them about it and they know that they haven’t been active champions but they think it’s strange to just make new belts and give them to someone else. Villano V said that he is planning on talking to Maynes about this soon and hopes to come to some sort of conclusion because they don’t want to lose the titles on someone’s desk but in the ring.
