New album honours obama on his big day

Barack Obama's big day has inspired the relaunch of an uplifting album which celebrates American diversity.

Shortly after Obama is sworn in as the 44th President of the United States on Tuesday (20Jan09), Yes We Can: Voices of a Grassroots Movement is to be launched via shopping channel QVC.

The new version of the album features two new tracks, Dave Koz’s I Can, featuring BeBe Winans, and Jill Scott’s Golden.

The LP also features songs from Stevie Wonder, John Legend and Sheryl Crow, who performed at Obama's free Lincoln Memorial tribute show in Washington D.C. on Sunday (18Jan09).
