Default Backstage News on HHH & Undertaker's Storyline

Triple H and The Undertaker are the ones putting together their current program for WrestleMania 27, with minimal input from WWE creative.

Taker was originally scheduled to face Wade Barrett and Triple H was set to face Sheamus at WrestleMania but the two got together and realized that WrestleMania 27 had no special match. As WWE's two most power political forces, they felt they could take control of their own angle without much in the way of outside influence.

Shawn Michaels is still expected to be introduced into the storyline and have a role at WrestleMania, possibly as a referee or an enforcer. The idea behind the storyline is that Triple H is going at Taker for revenge after Taker ended his best friend's career.

AKA, the storyline I threw out 2 months ago. Assuming of course, they bring Michaels in as the special ref and then have him double-cross HHH, which, to me, is the most exciting thing they could do. Regardless of how it plays out, this is 1000 times better than having Barrett and Sheamus involved with either HHH or Taker.

This is going to be great. Especially since it seems legit that HHH could win because there were rumours for years that he wanted to take the streak and he has the backstage pull to do it. If Undertaker faced Barrett, you knew Barrett was losing but against HHH you really don't know. And if HBK is the special referee, they could have HBK go either way and it'll be a shock. Also I hope this means HHH is a full-time heel.

yes...bring back the bastard heel HHH. He is a good face...but he excels as a heel.

Bringing HBK into it would be awesome, he will add big-time excitement to the match...you never know if he is gonna turn on you or what.

    Good stuff.

Interesting. Definitely has appeal especially if they're bypassing creative and doing it on their own.

This angle will prove what so many of us have known for years: Good WRESTLING angles don't need friggin' Hollywood writers. They need creative WRESTLING minds who know the business, know how to work a crowd and know how to get over without having to resort to 20-foot ladder falls (staring at you Jeff Hardy), anonymous GMs or Hollywood star power.
