Hulk Hogan will not be appearing at the 3/9 Micro Championship Wrestling TruTV taping in Tampa, Florida.

While Hogan was advertised by MCW's Facebook, that advertisement was made in error and was never something that was officially planned for the taping.

The Blue Iguana, where the taping is being held, issued a statement regarding the Hogan appearance, which reads:

""It has come to our attention that others have mistakenly advertised that Hulk Hogan will be appearing at the 3/9 Micro Championship Wrestling event. Hogan will not be appearing."

There's no word of where the confusion came from, but it should be noted that Hogan was never advertised by the venue or on the official MCW website, just their Facebook page.
