Default My 'Letter' to Dixie Carter

I know you all think i'm weird and that i really don't like wrestling, but i actually do and watch it occasionally so i have something to talk about with you all. And while i was making dinner tonight Mat and i were discussing the atrocious Victory Road PPV and it got me thinking of something to say to Dixie. As everyone knows Dixie has a FB page, whether it was her 'Fan' page or her real account i posted something that i have been wanting to say but to afraid to put in words for everyone to see but i finally got the courage and a big push from Mat do do it.

So here is what i wrote on her wall(s)

I'm hoping after today's atrocious PPV you will now reconsider the Jeff Hardy situation and put tighter reigns on everyone. Rules and Punishments are there for a reason, to stop chaos from happening. TNA was once great and had so much potential and right now it's on thin ice.

If you want to put SOME credibility back into it, Stop hiring people who have no true 'star power', Get rid of The Hardys, Hogan and Flair, give Russo a well deserved holiday and do like you said you would, push the younger talent.

The Younger talent is what will inspire future wrestlers whether they be male or female. I hate to be telling you what you should do as it's your familys company now but that is what i wish would happen.

Sorry if i seem like a 'Smark' or a hater, i just had high hopes for this company and they seem to be spiralling into the dark abyss that is known as a purgatory.

Thank you for your time if you have read this.

    Yours Sincerely
    Kirsty
This is only my opinion of how i wish TNA was and how it ought to be. I just hope she and her 'fans' don't think i'm attacking her because i'm not.

And so what i was trying to get with this thread was what are your opinions on the company now? Should she really take the advice from fans who want to see something great?

Flair is still great by far the only entertaining thing on the show. I dont think Hogan calls the shots regarding matches. Vince fucking Russo needs to go

If Kenpachi used his Bankai, Armageddon, Ragnarok, and every other form of the apocalypse would march from the depths of hell with their demonic legions of death.... then take one look at him and turn tail and run.

I was trying to say by getting rid of Hogan and Flair the Younger talent can shine through a bit more, rather than being shoved at the back all the time.

being should tie up his boots & for the love of fucking god stay away from the microphone

TNA Needs to have a good fucking look at it's product who to keep & who not to keep, bring back the 6 sided ring, revamp there divisions
& get fresh Writing talent & Last but not least look at what they got future main eventers & loyal talent that have been there for years busting there asses to make TNA what it is because one day Dixie will look over her shoulder & not see people like Aj,Kaz & Beer Money.

IDK what to say about TNA, I mean I have always liked it I still do. Not crazy about how they are now doing the interviews how it peeps into doors but it's different. Doesn't seem very professional though.

Rep if you like my posts - I do my own banners, if you would like one please feel free to PM me; I'll do my best to get it to you. Thanks.

First off I don't think Victory Road was atrocious. I'll save that acronym for Genesis.

Victory Road however was a PPV with the makings of a great show fucked up by constant mistakes and bizarre decision making.

Blow up doll? Amusing is strange. Cuddly toy knocking Bubba to the floor? Come on.

Sarita and Rosita have talent, no issue with them winning but WOW. How slowly did Rosita get on her shoulders? Love had long since moved before she slammed down to the empty canvas and again later on. Velvet then fucked up but clearly being by the apron watching Sarita come in and stood by doing nothing. Even an obvious swing for Rosita and hitting Winter by mistake would have been better.

Hernandez vs Morgan? Ok this one was shit all round really. It never really got going, the "fan" in the ring was different I'll give them that but what supposedly happened to the ref exactly? Fake blood poured on Morgan, lame but ok only the second ref went straight to a bleeding Hernandez, face to face with him, turned round then saw Morgan and called the match. Surely he saw the blood on Hernandez? Stupid.

Ultimate X has some decent spots, few strange ones like Max Buck being "stuck" when clearly after a close up camera shot he had at least a yard of space. Was far from the best Ultimate X match and the whole ting with the Bucks kinda kept killing any momentum. Decent enough overall though.

Beer Money vs Ink Inc was decent but like with Ultimate X Jesse Neal trynna show his respect all through the match was kinda silly. I get teh point of it but at the start and the end only would have had the same effect.

AJ vs Matt Hardy was probably the match of the night and a big reason I can't agree with your statement of "Get rid of The Hardys". Matt so far has been a positive for TNA. He won his debut, as expected. Then put over RVD and AJ. Reports suggesting he's made good impressions and is popular backstage. No problem with Matt Hardy and this match up was solidly worked and easily was the best of the night.

Yeah the Youtube shit last year was wierd and made him look a dick but as a fan, only what he does in the ring as Matt Hardy the wrestler are of any importance in fairness.

Anderson vs RVD just failed to spark and considering what was to come it really needed to in hindsight. Double count out I assume will lead to a triple threat/fatal four way at Lockdown but meh the match at Victory Road was pretty bog standard and the finish looked weak.

Ok now I watch it in parts, and the last one was about 17 minutes long. By the time Bischoff came out you had about 9 minutes left and my comment was "This is gonna be pretty shit with less than ten minutes for the main event." I had no idea just how bad.

Just what the fuck was that? Sorry but you can't justify charging whatever it is you charge in places expecting people to buy your PPV on the strength of a main event and then just throw shit like that out there. One move? One fucking move and it's done?

2 weeks ago on iMPACT! it took 2 normal death drops and one from the turnbuckle to put Jeff Hardy away. Chances are 95% of thsoe watching Victory Road would have seen that.

Then another fuck up having the camera close enough on Sting at the entrance ramp addressing the crowd in response to the boos and jeers "I know, I know". As if publicly declaring "I know it's a fucking joke what the hell is going on?"

So yeah there were WAY more bad decisions and fuck ups than should be acceptable, the honeymoon video clips have no place on a PPV and the end was a completely shambolic debacle but I still wouldn't say it made Victory Road atrocious.

Victory Road 2011 was average overall with some nice, decent stuff and some really really horrible things.

Flair whilst rumoured to be on an obscene amount of money is still a big name on screen talent even though doing minimal wrestling he doesn't need to be gotten rid of.

Bischoff like him or loathe his personality or whatever I actually feel is the one who's doing good things for TNA. Like it or not he's a wrestling guy, he's been there and he's done it and he does know what works and what doesn't. Not without his faults certainly but he's a man who deserves a lot more credit than a lot of wrestling fans give him.

Hogan save for the initial interest and peddling a bit of merchandise has effectively died out and ran his TNA course I feel so I do agree with you on that front.

Russo is an interesting one. He does indeed come up with some atrocious crap sometimes but again he's been there and he's done it all before and he does also produce some good results. It's all about finding a balance. If Russo were "given a break" who would be in charge? Senior guys around the place? Aka Hogan actually having a proper say? That would suck I'd suggest.

I get why you're pissed off for sure and the end was just surreal it was such a shit heap but I think overall it's a little harsh to be so critical of the company as a whole. Genesis was truly atrocious, ironically saved by a decent enough twist ending. Victory Road by comparison was decent enough sadly let down by an atrocious ending.

Mat you and Kirsty hit the nail on the head with everything that you both have stated....Kirst I'm so proud of you for finally getting the courage to write to Dixie and to give her advice of what needs to happen, and what the fans really want to see! If more fans wrote to her the same way you did, maybe she'd listen to us!

you can't get rid of people just because they're old. As long as they're entertaining and doing their job its all well and good

I wasn't saying just because they are old. The rest of the roster deserves to be in the limelight but they keep getting pushed to the back, and that is what i was trying to say.
