    Countdown Show:

Matt Striker and Tony Dawson are the hosts. They pushed that this was the kickoff to Wrestlemania season and ran down the lineup for tonight's PPV.

    They previewed the Chamber.

Randy Orton was interviewed and asked his strategy. He said that he planned to use every ounce of steel in the Elimination Chamber to put his opponents down. He said the only thing more dangerous than the Chamber is the man hellbent on headlining Wrestlemania and who will use anything and everything to get it done. A good promo.

They aired a video feature on The Shield.

Damien Sandow & Cody Rhodes vs. Tensai & Brodus Clay

Sandow cut a promo stating that all the half-wits demanded the reunion of Team Rhodes Scholars, knocking the fans in the process. Cody said that they demanded a Team Rhodes Scholars standing ovation from the fans for giving what they wanted.

Brodus and Tensai did a deal where Clay had to go back and get Tensai during the ring entrance. Tensai was wearing a hat like Clay's. They claimed Tensai was not doing hours of dance training a week.

Sandow and Rhodes stalled early. Sandow took control on Tensai and choked him against the ropes. Tensai fought back against Rhodes but missed a back splash. Sandow continued working over Tensaid and nailed the Elbow of Disdain.

Sandow followed up with a clothesline in the corner but Tensai was able to tag Clay. Clay nailed a splash in the corner but was nailed by Sandow when he went for a Fall Away Slam. Tensai and Clay nailed a double splash on Sandow. Clay followed up with a big splash on Sandow and scored the pin.

Your winners, Brodus Clay & Tensai!

Standard opening tag match meant to get the crowd into the show.

Lots of promotional hype for the WWE title rematch between CM Punk and The Rock.

    PPV broadcast

They opened up with a good three minute video previewing the main matches for the show with the theme being that the road to Wrestlemania would have to travel through the Chamber.

Michael Cole, JBL and Jerry Lawler are your announcers.

WWE World champion Alberto Del Rio vs. Big Show

JBL joked that he loved Ricardo and "needed to get me one of those" after the big ring announcement.

Show tried to attack the champion early but Del Rio avoided him and nailed several big kicks. Show cut him off with several chops, sending the champion down to the mat. Show slammed Del Rio hard. Show controlled Del Rio but missed a back splash in the corner. Del Rio charged but Show tried to kick him off. Alberto caught the leg and snapped it, then nailed a series of kicks to the head for a two count.

Del Rio went to rebound off the ropes but was speared for a two count. Show nailed a short arm clothesline and began yelling at Ricardo. Show continued to control Alberto as Ricardo tried to get the crowd to rally the champion. Show went up to the ropes for the Vader splash off the ropes but Del Rio kicked up at the last second. Del Rio grabbed the cross armbreaker out of nowhere but Show made it to the ropes.

Del Rio kicked Show and came off the ropes but was caught and cinched into a bear hug. They noted this was a big Bruno Sammartino move. Show kicked at Ricardo's bucket, distracting himself. That allowed Alberto to nail some offense. Show cut him off and went for a powerbomb. Del Rio turned it into a rana, sending Show to the floor. He followed up with a dive.

Del Rio nailed a seated senton off the top on Show for a two count. Del Rio went for a kick but was caught and chokeslammed by Show for a two count Show called for the KO Punch but Del Rio rolled to the outside. Show pulled him by his hair back up to the apron and tossed Alberto back into the ring. Show went for a chokeslam but Del Rio turned it into a sunset flip attempt. Show went for a mover but it was turned into a DDT for a two count.

Del Rio nailed a leaping enziguiri in the corner for a two count. He cinched in the cross armbreaker. Show pulled Alberto up and powerbombed him down. Show called for the KO but saw Ricardo on the apron and nailed him off, Show went to throw the bucket at Ricardo but Del Rio went for an enziguiri into the bucket and MISSED. Show was frozen in time until Del Rio nailed it again.

Alberto locked on the cross armbreaker and after struggling, Show finally tapped.

Your winner and still WWE World champion Alberto Del Rio!

Other than the miscue at the end, a good match telling a good David vs. Goliath story with Del Rio as the champion who refused to back down against the monstrous beast that was Show.

They aired a trailer for the new G.I. Joe movie. Josh Mathews interviewed several actors for the movie who said they were here to support Rock.

WWE United States champion Antonio Cesaro vs. The Miz

Miz came out with his shoulder taped from Cesaro's attack on Raw. Miz went right after Cesaro nailing him with several kicks and a back elbow. Miz slid under and pulled him down for a sunset flip type pin for a two count but Cesaro went after the shoulder. Cesaro drilled him down with an over the knee shoulderbreaker.

Cesaro smiled as he worked over Miz, who kicked at him from underneath in an attempt to ward him off. Cesaro jumped up and came down with a big stomp. He locked in an armbar but Miz escaped and drilled him with a kick to the face for a two count. Cesaro cut him off and peppered him with a series of rights.

Cesaro locked on a short arm scissors. Miz fought to escape but was nailed with a big forearm for a two count. Good solid storytelling here. Cesaro snapped his bad arm onto the apron and began locking in different holds to wear Miz's bad shoulder down. He shoved Miz backwards into the corner but was nailed with an elbow as he charged in. Miz nailed him hard with another big boot to the face and began kicking away at him in the corner.

Miz charged and hit his leaping clothesline in the corner, then went to the top. He leapt off the top but Cesaro grabbed him in an armbar and yanked back for all he was worthy. Miz turned him over for a near pin. Cesaro was tossed to the outside. Miz went to the outside and shoved Cesaro into the ring steps, where he hit his knee. Miz then went after the knee, trying to soften him up for the figure four leglock.

Miz continued working on Cesaro. Miz went for the figure four but Cesaro fought him off. Miz dropped down when his leg was kicked out from under him and ended up nailing Cesaro with a knee to the groin inadvertently. The referee called for a DQ. An incensed Miz then kicked Cesaro in the groin on purpose.

Your winner and still WWE United States champion Antonio Cesaro!

Solid wrestling and a good story with Cesaro picking him and his shoulder apart. The finish was a little weak but adds some more to their issue.

Backstage, Kane was giving Daniel Bryan the silent treatment. Bryan said he should be the one who should giving him the silent treatment because he eliminated Bryan from the Royal Rumble after he was already eliminated. Kane told him to try being silent then. He said that he was focused because he's been in WWE for 15 years and has never headlined Mania. Bryan tried to get Kane to agree they would watch each other's backs in the Chamber. They hugged and Kane told Bryan to watch out for him and Kane would then watch out for himself. He walked off, leaving Bryan confused.

Elimination Chamber video preview so Rock vs. Punk is last.

Elimination Chamber for World title shot at Wrestlemania: Jack Swagger vs. Mark Henry vs. Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho vs. Kane vs. Daniel Bryan

Swagger had new, dramatic ring music. Swagger said that the mic is power and he uses it to speak the truth. He set up for a Zeb Coulter promo. Zeb said that you have to realize where you are and they are in New Orleans, a den of inequity. He said that makes him think of Thomas Jefferson and the Louisiana Purchase and how sad it would make him to see what's become of Louisiana and the country he defended with his life. He said the country is full of excuse makers and panders. He cut a promo about people slipping into the country and then asking for a handout. He said that tonight, they will make things right, because a real Patriot, a real American will win one for the good guys. He said that tonight marks the beginning of a Jack Swagger America.

Daniel Bryan and Chris Jericho are starting out. Bryan grabbed a side headlock and was sent into the ropes. He shoulderblocked Jericho down but was caught in a series of side headlock takedowns. Bryan peppered him with kicks in the corner to the chest.

Bryan whipped Jericho into the corner but was kicked off and chopped. Jericho sent Bryan over the top but he landed on his feet. They battled outside the ring on the steel grating. Bryan went for the No Lock but Jericho escaped and catapulted Bryan into the steel chains of the Chamber. Back in the ring, Jericho drilled Bryan and covered him for a two count. He kicked Bryan to the outside, then suplexed him into the ring.

Jack Swagger was randomly released from the Pod and charged, working over Jericho. He came off the ropes with the Vader splash for a two count on Jericho, then drilled Bryan to the outside. Bryan avoided a charge and Swagger hit the chains. Swagger still worked over Bryan. Jericho nailed him as Swagger returned to the ring and peppered him with kicks and punches.

Swagger regained control and tossed Jericho to the outside steel. He tossed Jericho into the chains and drilled him with a series of knees to the mid-section. Bryan came out of nowhere to hit a running knee on Swagger to the outside. Bryan tossed Jericho back into the ring and set up Jericho so he could go to the top. Kane whipped Swagger into Jericho in a corner and squashed them both with an Avalanche, then whipped Bryan into them as Bryan nailed them both with a dropkick. Kane tossed Swagger to the outside but was rolled up by Bryan for a two count. Bryan realized what he had done and asked Kane to hug it out as a means of apology. Kane said no. Bryan said yes. Bryan shoved him in the face and was punched hard. He dropped down and nailed Kane with a drop toehold in the corner, then dropkicked him. Bryan unloaded with a series of kicks to the chest but was caught by the throat. Bryan warded off the chokeslam but was caught with a sideslam coming off the ropes for a two count.

Randy Orton was released and clotheslined Swagger over the top to the steel. He nailed Jericho with a back elbow. Orton nailed the slingshot suplex on Bryan. He and Kane battled on the outside on the steel. Orton slipped out of a chokeslam attempt. He caught Kane with the hanging DDT on the steel and hurt himself in the process.

Bryan drilled Jericho with kicks. Orton recovered and worked over Swagger. They ended up in opposite corners on the top. Orton superplexed Swagger in. Jericho superplexed Bryan. Everyone was out as Mark Henry was dying to get into the Chamber. He was released and destroyed everyone with powerful shots. He nailed the World's Strongest Slam on Bryan and pinned him.

    Daniel Bryan has been eliminated.

Henry sent Orton into a pod, shattering it. It came down to Kane and Henry slugging it out in the ring. Henry missed a charge in the corner and was nailed with a clothesline. Kane went to the top and came off but Henry caught him and nailed him with the World's Strongest Slam and pinned Kane.

Swagger went for the Doctor Bomb but Jericho turned it into a Walls of Jericho attempt. Swagger escaped but was nailed with a running bulldog. Jericho went for the Lionsault but Henry was standing there waiting like a horror movie monster. He grabbed Jericho and threw him into the chains of the structure. He then tossed Jericho into the ring atop of Swagger.

Henry dragged them atop of each other in the corner and set them up for the Vader splash. He came off but they had scattered and Henry hit nothing. Jericho, Swagger and Orton all hit their finishers on Henry and Orton pinned him with an RKO.

    Mark Henry has been eliminated.

Henry got a big ovation leaving but turned around and attacked everyone left, hitting them with World's Strongest Slams. The referees couldn't stop Henry. Booker T and Teddy Long came out as well. Henry finally left.

All three men left were beaten and out on the mat, trying to recover. Swagger covered Orton, who kicked out. He went after Jericho but Orton joined the fray and they double teamed on Swagger. He was sent into the ringpost shoulder-first and his head hit the Pod wall.

Orton and Jericho went back and forth with some nice exchanges. Jericho was tossed to the outside but caught himself and went to the top. He leapt off but was nailed by an Orton dropkick in mid-air for a two count. Swagger attacked Orton but was caught by a powerslam. Jericho was nailed by one as well. Jericho came off the ropes and nailed Orton for a two count. Jericho went for the Codebreaker on Swagger but was caught and sent into the corner. He went for a Vader squash but saw Orton moving. Orton was caught in the Patriot Act anklelock but Jericho nailed Swagger from behind. Swagger came back to catch Jericho with the Patriot Act but Jericho rolled through and turned it into a counter for the Walls of Jericho. Orton grabbed Jericho and nailed his patented backbreaker for a two count.

    Jericho has been eliminated.

Swagger rolled up Orton and scored the win.

    Your winner, Jack Swagger!

Real good Chamber match with lots of great action and everyone having their moments to shine. Mark Henry looked like a beast. Orton was just plain awesome here. Jericho showed why he's probably the best worker in the business right now. Bryan and Kane were fun. Swagger looked really good and you can't say WWE didn't surprise you with this finish. The Swagger vs. Del Rio storyline should be interesting given the direction they appear to be going with for Swagger and Zeb Colter. Dutch Mantel in a Wrestlemania main event segment? Works for me!

The Shield vs. John Cena & Ryback & Sheamus

Everyone brawled on the floor to kick off segment before the bell even rang. The heroes did a triple delayed suplex. They stared the match and Sheamus worked over Dean Ambrose with a hard knee lift and a series of clubbering shots across the chest. Ambrose went to the floor. Sheamus nailed Rollins with a big shoulderblock off the apron before turning his attention back to Amrose. Roman Reigns distracted Sheamus, allowing Rollins to nail Sheamus. Reigns tagged in and took control. The Shield began picking apart Sheamus.

Rollins locked in a submission on the mat, then drove Sheamus into the Shield's corner. Ambrose tagged in and beat the hell out of Sheamus with a series of elbows. Ambrose was caught out of nowhere with the Brogue Kick. Reigns and Cena tagged in. Cean cleaned house with all his usual suspects. He went for the Attitude Adjustment but Rollins hit the scene. Cena tossed him out and locked in the STF. Ambrose attacked Cena. The Shield continued to swarm over Cena, beating him down.

Rollins worked over Cena as the crowd went back and forth with the dueling chants. Cena tried to fight back but kept getting cut off again and again but different members of the Shield as they controlled him. Finally, Cena backdropped Ambrose over the top to the floor. The crowd chanted for Ryback to be tagged in and he finally was, cleaning house on everyone in sight. He slammed Ambrose into Rollins, who was in the corner. Reigns attacked Ryback but was attacked by Sheamus. They battled to the floor, where Reigns speared Sheamus through the barricade into the timekeeper's area.

Rollins came off the top but was caught and pressed by Ryback. Ambrose attacked Ryback and Reigns soon joined in. They went for the triple powerbomb but Cena pulled Reigns out of the ring. Cena nailed the AA but Reigns speared Ryback as he was going for Shellshock and Rollins covered Ryback for the pin.

    Your winners, The Shield!

Cena was completely shocked as he thought he had Ambrose beat. Ryback walked off disgusted.

A really good six man tag. I really applaud WWE for booking Shield to remain strong.

Dolph Ziggler, Big E. Langston and AJ Lee came to the ring. Ziggler said that it's the road to Wrestlemania and he's not booked. He said it's great that Jack Swagger walked in to get a title shot after his vacation. He said that doesn't guarantee him a title shot, but this does, showing the briefcase. Ziggler started putting himself over and said he's stolen more shows than the entire 2013 WWE Hall of Fame class. Booker T came out and put over Ziggler, but said he knew someone who could do everything Ziggler could do and more - his opponent right now.

    Out came Kofi Kingston.

    Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler

Kingston controlled early as Ziggler took some crazy bumps. Ziggler sent Kingston shoulder-first into the ringpost. Ziggler began working over Kingston, who fired back. Kingston ducked a bunch of clotheslines and hit several leapfrogs but was grabbed in a sleeper hold.

AJ smacked Kingston who ducked and Ziggler almost nailed her. Kingston nailed Trouble in Paradise for a two count. Ziggler went to the outside where Kofi hit a dive to the floor on him and Langston. Ziggler was tossed back into the ring and nailed with a flying bodypress for a two count. He went back to the top for a move but was caught and dropped like a forward suplex across the buckles. Ziggler nailed the Zig Zag for the pin.

    Your winner, Dolph Ziggler!

Fast paced action. As a bonus match, this was a fun one.

After the match, Langston laid out Kofi with several kicks and his finisher. The crowd chanted, "One more time."

They showed the Clay and Tensai tag match from earlier. This led to a vignette where Brodus was showing off his new action figure. Tensai showed up and was getting called :Sweet T." He said for them not to call him that but they did anyway. Clay asked what his Japanese scripture meant. He said that it was supposed to be Japanese words of honor but with his luck, it was a sushi menu. The girls tried to cheer him up by dancing and Tensai joined in.

WWE Divas champion Kaitlyn vs. Tamina Snuka.

They showed a decent promo from Kaityn saying that she didn't work hard the last year to not leave Divas champion. She said Tamina was the most frightening woman she's ever met but whether she walked out or not tonight, she's leaving champion.

They locked up and Tamina controlled early. Kaitlyn suplexed her over. Tamina backed off and Tamina was caught in a backslide for a two count. They showed the other Divas watching backstage. They battled to the outside and back to the apron. Snuka took over with several stiff shots and slammed Kaitlyn into the ringpost, knocking her to the floor.

Back in the ring, they nailed each other with big boots. Tamina caught the champion with a Samoan Drop and went to the top for the Superfly Splash. Kaitlyn rolled out of the way and speared her for the three count.

Your winner and still Divas champion, Kaitlyn!

WWE champion The Rock vs. CM Punk (with Paul Heyman)

Punk came out with the stolen WWE title flaunting it.

The Rock can lose the belt via DQ or countout.

They faced off and circled each other at the bell. Punk shoulderblocked Rock down. Punk controlled Rock early but was caught with several big armdrags. Punk retreated to the floor for words of advice from Paul Heyman.

Punk returned to the ring and they began arguing. Punk slapped him. Rock lost it and worked over Punk. They noted it was a smart move from Punk since Rock could lose by DQ. The referee warned Rock. Rock calmed down but Punk spit in his face. Rock clobbered him with a clothesline.

They went to the outside where Rock kicked the hell out of Punk. He teased putting Punk on a table but realized Punk was looking for a DQ. Punk raked his eyes and drilled Rock when he returned to the ring. Punk nailed a neckbreaker for a two count. The crowd began the back and forth dueling chants. Punk controlled Rock and scored a two count with an elbow, then cinched in a side chinlock.

Punk nailed a heel kick for a two count. He locked in a side chinlock. Rock fought to his feet but Punk stunned him and nailed a springboard clothesline for a two count. Rock mounted a comeback but Punk nailed the high knee in the corner. He measured Rock and nailed another running high knee. Punk ascended to the top for the flying elbow and nailed it for a two count.

Punk dumped Rock to the floor. He set up the Spanish announce table (and warned JBL to watch out for his hat) but Rock made a comeback. He tossed Punk into the ring for the Rock Bottom but Punk turned that into a neckbreaker for a two count. Hey nan began arguing with the referee, allowing Punk to put Rock on the table. Punk nailed a Rock Bottom on the table but it didn't break. These tables don't like Rock vs. Punk matches. Punk returned to the ring and implored the referee to count Rock out. Rock returned just after the 9 count, saving his title.

Punk was immediately on Rock with a series of right hands. Rock caught him with a Samoan Drop. Rock made a comeback with a series of right hands. They slugged it out in the middle of the ring. Rock was whipped into the ropes but nailed a leaping clothesline and a DDT. He called for the Rock Bottom but Punk began nailing a series of elbows to the neck and body. Punk went for the springboard clothesline but was caught with the Rock Bottom in mid-air for a two count. Great match.

Rock followed Punk to the floor and tossed him back into the ring. The referee and Heyman began arguing. Punk whipped Rock into the referee, who took a bump to the floor. Punk nailed the GTS but there was no ref to make the count. Another official ran out to check on the ref. Punk went for another GTS but was caught with the spinebuster. Rock went for the People's Elbow and nailed it. The second ref hit the ring but Punk kicked out. Great false finish playing off of last month's ending.

Punk tried to back away from Rock, rolling over the referee's ankle. Rock went after him but Punk KO'd him with a kick to the head. Again, no referee to make a count. Punk had Heyman give him the WWE title belt. Heyman held Rock for the shot but the champ ducked and Heyman was nailed with the belt. Punk was hit with the Rock Bottom and pinned.

Your winner and still WWE champion, The Rock!

Really great main event. Much better than their first match.

    WWE Elimination Chamber Opener:

The show opens with a video package highlighting the Chamber match, the Shield vs. Sheamus/Ryback/Cena match, and the Rock/Punk match.

    - The pyro hits and Michael Cole welcomes us to the PPV, hyping it as the final stop before WrestleMania. The bell rings, and it looks like the World Heavyweight Championship will be opening things up as the Big Show’s music hits, and the big man makes his way down to the ring.

    World Heavyweight Title Match
Big Show vs. Alberto Del Rio (c)

Ricardo Rodriguez is out to introduce the Champ, and Alberto Del Rio gets a tiny pop, but overall mild reaction out of the crowd on his way to the ring.
