What ACTUALLY Happened On "Cold Pizza" - Pierzynski vs Cena
Chris Mate sent in the following recap: John Cena was on Cold Pizza today to push The Marine. They started off the interview with the caption "Cena Powerslams King Booker", of course they showed a clip of Cena Superplexing The Undertaker, but that sort of screw up is expected by the mainstream media when it comes to Pro Wrestling. Basic questions about how wrestling helped prepare you for making a movie and all that stuff. Cena was asked if he would pull a Rock and start making movies full time. He responded by saying that he would have to work two full time jobs than because wrestling will always come first. During the interview, AJ Pierzynski, Chicago White Sox catcher who did some work for TNA a while back, was brought up because he does work for the show sometimes. They showed some clips of AJ in TNA, and Cena was just silent at first, than made some jokes about him. Than AJ came out and he had the replica X-Division title that TNA had given him. They compared the belts, and Cena made some more jokes about the belt including, "I think I saw that thing in the gumball machine outside when I was coming in." Cena came off professionally, and never actually mentioned TNA by name, although Jay Crawford, the interviewer, did.
Daniel Brinati also sent in this recap: John Cena was a guest on ESPN2's Cold Pizza this morning. He did some promotion for his movie, talked about bein in the ring with The Undertaker last night on Raw, and the wrestling business in general. AJ Pierzynski who was going to be on the show later, came out with a replica X division belt (Cena of course had the WWE championship with him) and made a "challenge" to John Cena, since he did have some wrestling experience. They had shown footage of AJ when he was involved with TNA a while back (Cena made fun of him for not being able to fight without weapons, since the clips showed him using a bat and home plate as weapons).
