Cowboy Bob Ellis was trained by Sandor Szabo. Ellis when he was just starting out used the name Bob Elliot. He started wrestling under the name Cowboy Bob Elliot when he went to Albuquerque for promoter Mike London. Elliot was a known to bleed in alot of his matches. He was a headliner everywhere he went and almost always a babyface. He did work as a heel in Puerto Rico when he turned heel on Carlos Colon. Ellis also held numerous titles and has had numerous partners such as Wilbur Snyder, The Bruiser, Johnny Valentine, & Johnny Weaver to name a few.
