In a related (unfortunate) bit of news, popular television ratings source ShowbuzzDaily has announced it is shutting down. Showbuzz has been a source of wrestling viewership data for years. They posted a message on Tuesday that explains:
"To be clear, unlike other interruptions that we’ve had, this isn’t due to a technical issue that can be fixed. It’s also not related to revenue (or lack thereof). Without going into details, we’re simply not going to be in a position to continue providing data."
They cited viewership continually moving from linear to streaming, which makes for less reliable data. Thank you, Showbuzz, for your service.
