Sudden Change in DX?

I noticed that all of a sudden (about 3 weeks ago) DX not only completly stopped the "Dumb to the eXtreme" skits, they began to act more like badasses, and first HHH came out alone and to his own theme song, and then last week HBK came out to his own theme song.

So why is this:

-Is it to give a gradual split between to two. A simalar thing arised with Edge and Lita. Edge started coming out alone for a couple of matches and Lita was recognized as a single superstar b4 their split when Lita Retired.

-Is it simply to give them more of an image as a tag team of 2 great superstars, Triple H and Shawn Michaels more than simply the DX style.

-Is it falling to VKM? WWE obviously shouldnt have accepted any of VKM's challanges, but almost right after VKM did those skits about how dumb DX got, DX started acting more like competetors other than simply clowns that can wrestle.

-Or is it something else, or really nothing at all?

The most obvious reason is that this is just the beginning of the end and they want to gradually start the transition back into the characters they were before DX v 2.0, but it is kind of suspicious how this all began right after VKM started cutting their promos.

WWE will say all day long that it's to give HBK and HHH somewhat of a push as singles stars before the DX split, but I've got to say that the VKM skits truly called out HBK and HHH...I mean, HBK has thought it was dumb from teh beginning, and you can tell he wasn't as into it this time around...

It has nothing to do with VKM nor the fact that they are splitting up. The more hardcore stance was because of what Rated RKO did to them and Flair. They took the approach of being serious. As far as coming out separately when had they done it since becoming DX again? I don't remember them doing it at all. So why not use there own music while coming out separately? It will be interesting to see what is in store for them down the road but as long as they are fueding with Rated RKO then DX isn't going anywhere. And as far as VKM, do you really think they give to shits about some B stars in a B company think of them?
