Although this hardly comes as a surprise, Jim Cornette and Ring of Honor officially parted ways today due to Cornette's status as a TNA performer. The two sides left things on good terms.

Cornette worked off and on for ROH from 2004 through earlier this year. Some of the highlights of his ROH run included Cornette working his first-ever in-ring confrontation with Bobby Heenan, a stint as ROH Commissioner, briefly managing The Briscoe Brothers, taking part in the first-ever Midnight Express reunion, feuding with Homicide, having a great debate with CZW's John Zandig during the ROH vs. CZW feud, and hosting some of ROH's Straight Shootin' DVD series.

No big suprise there, I didn't even realize that he did anything with ROH since late last year.
