Survivor Series captains Triple H and Mr. Kennedy will face each other in a Lumberjack Match this Monday on Raw, and the GMs of Raw, SmackDown and ECW have announced that the remaining eight members of the opposing teams be the lumberjacks.

With Rey Mysterio, Kane, and Matt and Jeff Hardy backing The Game on one side and Finlay, Big Daddy V, MVP and Umaga giving Kennedy support on the other, Monday’s match could give a preview of what the Traditional Elimination Match at Survivor Series will be like. On Thursday, the cocky, loudmouth Kennedy appointed himself the captain of his Survivor Series team and immediately challenged The Game, who wasted no time accepting.

With all 10 men involved in the Traditional Elimination Match under the same roof and the same time, Raw could potential see a volatile situation this Monday. Will all hell break loose? Tune in to Raw on Monday night and find out.

Shawn Michaels has floored WWE Champion Randy Orton with Sweet Chin Music an astonishing five weeks in a row. Will HBK be looking to make it a six-pack this week on Raw? Or will the champ be able to regain some momentum heading into Survivor Series?

RAW Results - 12th Nov, 2007
Location - Topeka, Kansas
Announcers - J.R. and Jerry 'The King' Lawler

Batista returns to Raw to open the show and takes the mic. Batista says he was invited by William Regal to take on some Raw competition. Batista says that’s a mistake because he’s gearing up for Hell in a Cell and the Undertaker. He’s going to be locked in a twenty foot high cell. Batista starts to talk some more, but The Undertaker comes out. Taker gets in the ring and takes his jacket and hat off. The two begin to square off, but Regal’s music begins to play.

Regal says he invited them for some competition, but not against each other. Tonight they will be partners facing the finest tag time on Raw, the tag champs Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch.


The Undertaker & Batista vs. Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch

The bell rings and Taker starts out with Cade. He quickly hits Old School and gets ready for a chokeslam, but Batista tags in. Batista spears Cade in the corner multiple times. Cade blocks a charge and throws Batista into the ring post. Murdoch tags in. He blocks a back body drop attempt and covers for two. Cade tags back in and they get a double team leg drop for two. Batista punches back and hits a spinebuster. Batista shakes the ropes, but Taker tags himself back and gives Cade a chokeslam. Murdoch breaks up the count, but Batista spears him. Taker gets Cade up and delivers a tombstone to complete the burial of the tag champs on Raw at the hands of the top stars on Smackdown.

Winners: Batista and The Undertaker!


After the match:
Not to be outdone, Batista gives Murdoch a Batista Bomb


Beth Phoenix vs. Maria

Maria looks like she applied her make up with Homer Simpson’s shotgun. The two look up and Beth puts her on the mat. Maria tries to choke Beth with her boot, but the Glamazon throws her down into a split and kicks her in the back. Maria with a kick and she does a handspring and kicks Beth in the head. Maria goes for a Victory Roll, but gets tossed to the mat. Phoenix hits the Glamazon-Plex for the win.

Winner: Beth Phoenix!


After the match:
Santino comes to the ring to check on Maria. He grabs a mic and says Maria is going to be ok. He reminds the audience that last week he was a victim of a brutal attack from Austin. He says that it wasn’t funny for one second and Austin can’t take criticism. He wonders what happened to the First Amendment rule of America. He says Austin owes him an apology and demands that the Rattlesnake come out. Since Stone Cold isn’t here, Santino turns to his friend, Good Ol’ JR. Santino says that he got mad when he saw that stupid, crooked smile, but then he realized that that smile is always on his face. Santino says that he is from Italy and he knows his English isn’t very good, and Ross is from Oklahoma and his English is even worse. He orders Ross to stand up and give him an apology. Lawler stands up instead. Santino invites the King into the ring. Santino says he will beat Lawler up. He offers the first punch. King takes it and knocks Santino to the mat with a right hand. Santino walks to the back, saying Jerry “Stupid” Lawler will pay for that.


Backstage:
Santino challenges Lawler to a match tonight and says he won’t be so easy like that guy from Taxi.

Footage after last week’s Raw is shown. Orton says if HBK uses or attempts to use the superkick, Michaels is disqualified and never gets a title shot again. If he (Orton) gets intentionally disqualified, or if it appears he is trying to do that, Michaels wins the WWE Championship.


Matt Hardy, Rey Mysterio, & Jeff Hardy vs. Finlay, Mr. Kennedy, & MVP

Finlay and Matt start. The two lock up. Matt pushes him into the corner. They break and get face to face before shoving each other. Finlay gets a side headlock. Matt pushes him off and goes for a hiptoss, but Finlay hits a short arm lariat. Kennedy tags in and punches Matt. MVP tags in and doesn’t want to face off with his tag team partner. Kennedy tags back in and pinds Hardy. Hardy punches back and throws Kennedy into the corner. Kennedy stomps Hardy against the ropes. Matt with a cross body. Matt hits a hip toss and arm drags Kennedy and Finlay. Hardy turns his back and gets tossed out of the ring by Kennedy. Commercial.

Back from the break, Kennedy is working over Matt Hardy. He applies a chinlock on the mat. Hardy fights back and hits a sloppy Side Effect. Rey and Finlay tag in. Rey with a seated senton off the top and he gets a quick two. Finlay ducks a springboard crossbody and kicks Rey in the face for two. MVP tags in and stomps Rey. MVP covers for two. He hits Rey and talks trash. MVP tosses Rey up and slams him down to the mat for two. MVP works the back. Rey knees out of it but MVP tags in Finlay, who cannonballs onto Rey for two. Scoop slam and a cheap shot to Jeff, who runs in and knocks Finlay from the ring. Kennedy tags in and gets multiple backbreakers. He puts Rey across his knee, but Rey fights out. Rey tries to crawl under Kennedy, but he gets dragged to the wrong corner as MVP tags in and keeps pressure on Rey’s midsection. Rey comes back with a DDT out of nowhere. Jeff tags in and gets a neckbreaker on MVP before knocking Finlay and Kennedy off the apron. Whisper in the Wind to MVP but Kennedy breaks up the pin. Hardy with a drop toe hold into the ropes. MVP is kicked into the ropes and Mysterio gets a double 619. Jeff with the Swanton onto MVP for the win. Solid match to build to the traditional Survivor Series match, which should be a lot of fun.

Winners: Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, & Rey Mysterio!

Face Off: Randy Orton & Shawn Michaels w/ special guest moderator Vince McMahon

Two podiums are set up touching each other so Orton and HBK will be face to face. Orton reminds HBK and the audience of the stipulations. HBK says the reason Orton got the superkick banned is because for the last 5 weeks, he has been feasting on Sweet Chin Music. Orton tells him to come off it and says for HBK it is not about the title, but it is about revenge. Orton says he is a hot head and it is instinct to use the superkick. Michaels wants Orton to have that chain of thought in Survivor Series. Michaels says maybe it’s all been a fluke and luck. But maybe he can win with a wrestling hold, or better yet…a submission hold. Get it? HBK asks how’s it going to feel when he loses the belt to a guy who doesn’t even have the option of using the Superkick. He says he doesn’t need it…he just needs the memory of when Orton tried to end his career and livelihood. HBK starts to go over to Orton’s podium but Vince pulls him back. Orton attacks when Michaels back is turned. He sets up for the concussion kick, but Vince says not until Sunday. Orton hits the RKO instead.


Layla, Jillian Hall, & Melina vs. Mickie James, Kelly Kelly, & Michelle McCool

Michelle and Melina trade wristlocks to start. Kelly Squared tags in and hits Melina’s arm. Melina gets the advantage and tags Jillian in. Jillian with a backbreaker. Kelly blocks the cartwheel splash and tags Mickie in. Micke in with a rana. She takes care of Layla and Melina. Layla makes a blind tag and surprises Mickie. All six women get in the ring and brawl. Mick Kick to Leyla after Mickie plants one on Leyla’s lips.

Winners: Mickie James, Michelle McCool, & Kelly Kelly!

Santino Marella vs. Jerry Lawler

King has no gear, btw. The two with a brief lock up. Lawler gets a back body drop. Lawler with some punches. Santino blocks another back body drop and kicks Orton on the mat, then hits some right hands. Snapmare and chinlock by Santino. King fights back and kicks Santino in the back of the leg multiple times. Santino blocks a charge and knocks Lawler to the mat. He tells JR to watch this, but Lawler gets an inside cradle for the win.

Training video of William Regal working with Hornswoggle in an empty arena before the show. Lillian introduces Horny like it is a real match. Horny comes out from underneath the ring. Lillian introduces the Great Khali. It is Coach posing as him, complete with a wig. Regal: “What a physique.” Heh. He makes Coach come over the top rope like Khali does. Coach tosses off the wig but Regal demands he put it back on. Someone posing as Ranjin Singh talks in a stereotypical voice even though the real Singh doesn’t even speak with an accent. Love that borderline racist humor! Regal tells Coach he is just a tackling dummy today. Horny kicks Coach in the shin. Coach tells him to stop and points his finger. Horny bites it. Horny kneels and Regal pushes him down. Horny pulls down Coach’s pants and comes off the top with a splash for the win. Hornswoggle takes the wig off and puts his hat on Coach.

Triple H talks about the Survivor Series Match. He says Umaga will be lucky to make it after they go one on one tonight. He says if he gets the opportunity, he will finish off Umaga.


Lumberjack match: Triple H vs. Umaga


Their respective partners for this Sunday’s elimination match are the lumberjacks. Umaga gets the early advantage but misses a splash. H punches him in the head, but Umaga dumps him out. None of the lumberjacks go for him. Neckbreaker by HHH only gets one. More rights from the H. Umaga is dumped from the ring. No one goes for him, but Triple H jumps off the apron onto Umaga and his team. HHH kicks Umaga in the face and goes for a pedigree but he gets back body dropped out. The lumberjacks get a few shots in. Commercial.

Back from the break, HHH and Umaga are trading punches. HHH blocks a charge. Umaga catches him and slams HHH to the mat. Umaga with a headbutt. Umaga with a seated senton onto HHH’s chest a couple times. Finlay gets a shot in when the ref has his back turned. Umaga hits a splash for two. Dragon kick by Umaga. HHH goes to pick up Umaga, but he falls down and Umaga gets another two count. Umaga with a nerve hold. He pounds HHH in the back before applying the nerve hold again. Right hands in the corner by Umaga. Kennedy gets in a choke. Umaga goes for the whipsplash, but HHH dodges it. HHH tosses Umaga into the corner and fires back with some punches. DDT by HHH for two. Facebuster by HHH. He goes for a Pedigree again, but Umaga counters to a Samoan Drop and goes for the spike. HHH ducks it and hits a spinebuster. Finlay runs and for the DQ and all the other lumberjacks soon follow to end the show.

Winner: No Contest

WWE has announced that Triple H will now face Umaga in a Lumberjack match on tonight's Monday Night Raw. The WWE website claims that Umaga has overridden Ken Kennedy's attempt to make himself the captain of their team and has inserted himself into the Lumberjack match. It could be a change in plans or, more likely, a storyline deal to tease dissension between the two.

I know im probably wrong but could it be Edge coming back? doesnt he have to be back a few weeks before SS? ... I hope it is Jericho but since when did the WWE give us what we wanted .... I will be the first to admit I am wrong next week but I will also be the first to say I told you so if its Edge lol

With Edge on the poster, I think it would be silly for them to do all this for him. I would like to believe it is Jericho they are promoting for a return. If it does end up being Edge lol there will be alot of boos I believe.
