Two stuntmen working on ADAM SANDLER's new movie YOU DON'T MESS WITH THE ZOHAN have been rushed to hospital after suffering severe burns.
The victims - whose identities have not been released - were filming a scene at Universal Studio's European Street set in Los Angeles when the accident occurred. Emergency services were called to the scene to treat a man in his thirties with burns to his face, with a second injured also treated for injuries.
However L.A. county Fire Inspector Sam Padilla insists there was no risk of a full scale blaze and both men are in a moderate condition at a local hospital.
Steve Elzer, a spokesman for film distributors Columbia TriStar, says, "Our thoughts right now are with the stuntmen and their families and we hope that each recovers swiftly from their injuries."
The movie sees Sandler take on the role of a Mossad (Israeli security service) agent who fakes his own death so he can re-emerge in New York City as a hair stylist. The movie is slated for an August 2008 release
