The word backstage is that the 'dead or alive' angle featuring Kane is indeed to do with the mask. That was the word making the rounds at the Great American Bash and it appears to be a fairly strong fact.

The official attendance in Long Island for the Great American Bash was 14,126. The show did nearly a $1 million gate.

Shawn Michaels was fine and that was an angle. He may have been busted open the hardway by an elbow but the match stoppage was all an angle for those who have asked.

It appears that WWE is building towards a three-way at SummerSlam featuring Batista vs. CM Punk vs. Kane for the World Title. Randy Orton could be back by then as well though.
