Divari and Kahli did an interview with the Taker coming out to fight Kahli later on they
announced a last man standing match between the two for smackdown next instead of the ppv.

Gregory Helms beat Tatanka I dont know who the hell thought this was a good idea Helms won the wizzard but the ref didnt see Tatankas foot under the ropes which of course means rematch next week.

Idol and James beat London and Kendrick in a decent match and the crowd really didnt care.

Kenedy over Rey Jr when Chavo ran out to fight with Rey and Vicki broke them up again I just dont like where this angle is going crowd was hot for Rey though.

Next was the 250,000$ rat search it was a talent contest and they hand Luke Perry as a judge cant remember who won but crwod shit on every one of them.

A Boogeyman video ran which got a mild reception.

Vito beat Sylvan the less said the better

Terkay squashed Dustin Starr afterwards him and Burke beat him up some more

In the main event Batista and Lashley beat Finlay and Regal afterwards big Dave and King Booker had a staredown crowd was super hot for Batista.

In the dark match main event Batista over King Booker by dq when Sharmell low blowed big Dave .lasted about 7 minutes and was somewhat decent match.

Overall not a great show but not the worst ever I'd say thumbs in the middle.

SmackDown! Thoughts – 8/11/06

The Great Kali & The Undertaker Segment:
Who really cares about Kali?

Gregory Helms VS Tatanka:
Good match. Great workers

K.C. James & Idol Stevens VS London & Kendrick:
Decent match. I just don’t like the new tag team, they are hessitant.

Rey Mysterio vs. Mr. Kennedy:
Good match. Before I forget … Rey, Chavo and Vicky, I’m discusted at what you are doing with this angle. I can see that Rey and Chavo might be pushed to do this angle, but Vicky … what are your kids thinking of this? If my mom would do this 1 year after my dad died, I would be pissed off.
If Eddie could watch down from “so called heaven” he would be discusted as well.

Vito VS Sylvan:
Decent match. Better then expected. Vito is starting to look better and better as does Sylvan which was surprising.

Sylvester Terkay VS Local:
Squash match. I hate these matches. Don’t know about this guy. Doesn’t do anything for me.

Batista & Lashley VS Finlay & William Regal:
Good match. Batista did how many moves again? He is so over-rated. Finlay deserves the US Championship, he’s maybe the best technical wrestler now Chris Benoit is out.

Plus: Finlay & Little Bastard.
Minus: The Great Kali. Guerrero Angle.

Ya...the show sounds really lame, I thought they were doing good for the last 2 weeks, or at least I thought they were decent shows...but this one sounds like the one last week.
