WWE RAW Opener:

Roman Reigns made his entrance through the crowd while Michael Cole, JBL, and Byron Saxton checked in on commentary. Cole said it was a career defining week for Reigns last week when he became No. 1 contender. They aired footage of the four-way match that Reigns won to earn that status.

Reigns said based off the crowd’s energy, he was proud to be in Denver. He said he’s also proud to be No. 1 contender and the next WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Reigns said Seth Rollins is very good in the ring, but he’s also good at brown nosing and kissing the ass of The Authority.

Reigns said he doesn’t like people who pucker up, lie to his face, or weasels. “So I guess I don’t like Seth Rollins,” he surmised. He said there’s not a force on earth who can stop him from beating Rollins.

Seth Rollins made his entrance and spoke from the stage. Rollins noted that Reigns complimented him and said he would return the favor. He ran through some of Reigns’ career highlights, then said he’d always be second best compared to him. Rollins said the fans will remember Reigns as the guy who used to carry his bags.

Reigns invited Rollins to get in the ring to find out who the real man is. Rollins started walking toward the ring, but he was stopped when Triple H and Stephanie McMahon made their entrance. Stephanie McMahon said that they need to make it official. She asked the crowd how many of them wanted to see the match. She told them they would get it, but just not tonight.

Hunter said he knew they would fall for it. He said they knew they were in high altitude, but he asked just how high the fans were. Stephanie mocked the idea of giving away the match in Denver, then announced the match will take place at the Survivor Series.

Hunter booked a traditional five-on-five Survivor Series match. He said Reigns would captain and choose one team, and Rollins would captain and choose the other team. Hunter told him to choose wisely because his survival may depend on it…

The broadcast team hyped the women’s four-way match, and Bray Wyatt talking later in the show… Kevin Owens and Dolph Ziggler were shown walking backstage. Cole said they would meet after the break…

The broadcast team congratulated the Kansas City Royals for winning the World Series. They showed off the title belt that “Triple H sent” the team…

Kevin Owens vs. Dolph Ziggler

Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens vs. Dolph Ziggler in a non-title match. An Owens pre-tape aired with Owens saying he proves he’s the greatest IC Champion of all-time. Ziggler performed a DDT and Owens rolled to ringside. Tyler Breeze’s music played and he and Summer Rae made their entrance.

Breeze and Summer were seated in their VIP section next to the broadcast table. They broadcast shots from Tyler’s phone on his Facebook page. In the ring, Owens hit a nice German suplex on Ziggler. He tried to follow up with a cannonball, but Ziggler caught him with a superkick for a two count. Breeze stood up and took a selfie with his back to the ring. Ziggler took a swipe at him, but Breeze moved. Ziggler walked into a Pop-Up Powerbomb…

Kevin Owens defeated Tyler Breeze in a non-title match in 11:00.

After the match

Breeze entered the ring with his selfie stick and posed over Ziggler. Dolph threw a punch at him. When Dolph went to stand up, Breeze caught him with a Beauty Shot. Tyler and Summer posed for a selfie over the fallen Ziggler…

A Survivor Series video aired on the first version of the event that was held in 1987. The narrator spoke about Ronald Regan being president, Wall Street ruled at the box office, and Michael Jackson’s “Bad” was tearing up the charts. Seth Rollins approached Kevin Owens and kissed up to him. Owens asked him where this was going. Rollins hyped the idea of champion vs. champion at WrestleMania 32. Owens said he liked the sound of it. Rollins then asked if Owens liked the idea of being on his team. Owens said he liked the WrestleMania idea, then told Rollins to remember that he owes him…

The broadcast team spoke at ringside about “the very controversial Divas Division.” They set up footage of Paige’s turn from last week…

Backstage

Renee Young interviewed Becky Lynch, who jokingly took exception to being called the woman formerly known “the B” in PCB. Lynch said Paige’s attack was an eye opener, and she can’t wait to get her hands on Paige. Young started to point out that Lynch could end up challenging her best friend. Brie Bella crashed the set and said she would win, not Charlotte’s wacky sidekick. Becky said she takes that as a compliment coming from Nikki Bella’s “pathetic doormat of a sister”… Cesaro made his entrance…

Stardust and The Ascension sat in the crowd and watched the match from the “Stardust Section.” Cole said they seem to be stalking Cesaro. Stardust watched through a gold periscope. Miz took the Cesaro Swing that went over 25 revolutions. Cesaro applied the Sharpshooter and got the win…

Cesaro defeated The Miz in 4:50.

Cole hyped Bray Wyatt’s appearance for after the break by saying they would find out whether there’s any truth to Wyatt’s claims that he consumed the souls of Undertaker and Kane…

Still shots recapped the Wyatt Family taking away Kane last week…

The Wyatt Family made their entrance. Bray said he would give the fans something truly special. He said the fans witnessed them carrying out Undertaker and Kane. Wyatt said it was never the bodies they wanted because bodies are temporary and eventually completely useless, whereas a soul lives forever.

Wyatt said that’s only true unless the soul is consumed by a higher power. He said he has become that higher power. Wyatt said the power is inconceivable and now he has stolen the thunder and lighting. The thunder and lighting special effects occurred. He dubbed himself the eater of worlds as the thunder and lighting continued.

Wyatt said he can take your world and burn it straight to hell. Wyatt struck Taker’s pose and there was a pyro show on the stage. A Kane and Taker video package played on the big screen. In the ring, Wyatt yelled, “Follow the buzzards” to conclude the segment…

The Lucha Dragons made their entrance and then a video package was shown of them performing high spots. King Barrett and Sheamus made separate entrances. The broadcast team spoke about how dominant the Wyatt Family are before the match started…

They cut to break with Kalisto selling at ringside a few minutes into the match.

Kalisto took a hot tag and worked over Barrett with some flashy offense. A short time later, Kalisto avoided a Bull Hammer and hit his finisher for the win. Cole put it over as a major win for the Dragons…

The Lucha Dragons beat Sheamus and King Barrett in 12:50.

Backstage

Zeb Colter was texting on his scooter when Jack Swagger entered the room. They said it had been six months since they spoke. Swagger brought up Colter and Alberto Del Rio wanting to form a new nation. Colter said it’s called Mex-America. After Zeb went on about how great the unified country would be, Swagger told him to stop and talk to him. Alberto Del Rio entered the room and said if Swagger is looking for trouble he will find it. Swagger said he’s just trying to figure out what’s going on. They left the room and he did his best to look like he was thinking hard about what they are up to…

U.S. Champion Alberto Del Rio (w/Zeb Colter) vs. R-Truth

The broadcast team touted Batista appearing on the cover of Muscle & Fitness. Truth caught Del Rio with a nice spinning heel kick and then hit his scissors kick for a two count, which only Cole seemed to buy into as a possible finish. Del Rio came right back with a kick. Del Rio eventually tied him up in the corner, kicked him a few times, and finished him off with the double stomp…

Alberto Del Rio defeated R-Truth in a non-title match in 3:20.

The broadcast team hyped the launch of WWE Network in India. JBL said it’s also available in Mex-America. Cole hyped Survivor Series, then set up another video that focussed on Survivor Series 2005 and what was happening in pop culture at that time. The video showcased the Team Raw vs. Team Smackdown elimination match… The broadcast team hyped the Raw main event…

Backstage

Seth Rollins was approached by Kofi Kingston and Big E. They said he needs look no further because New Day is here. Rollins said they were in on one condition – they play by his rules because he’s the captain of the team. Rollins said they need another guy. They did the unicorn bit and then the trombone played. Xavier Woods made his return, and they chalked it up to unicorn magic and the power of positivity. An annoyed Rollins agreed to let Woods join the team. Woods played the trombone and then Rollins, E, and Kingston chanted “Team Rollins”…

Sasha Banks was approached by JoJo and asked if she had any anxiety about the four-way match. JoJo explained the the fans have been chanting for her lately and that must led to extra pressure. Sasha said she always delivers. Sasha said she is the boss, then said JoJo apparently didn’t get the text that Halloween was on Saturday based on her attire…

Eden Stiles handled the ring introductions for the four-way match. Becky Lynch made her entrance heading into the break…

Paige vs. Sasha Banks vs. Brie Bella vs. Becky Lynch

The women in a four-way to earn a Divas Championship match at Survivor Series. The stable mates were all banned from ringside. Becky had the first run of prolonged offense and that was broken up by Brie Bella, who hit a couple of running knees on Lynch and Banks only to run into a kick from Paige.

At ringside, Paige shoved Lynch back first into the ring steps. In the ring, Sasha performed a double knee drop onto Brie, who was lying over the second rope, and scored a two count. Later, Sasha avoided a missile dropkick from Brie. Paige returned to the ring and went for a cover, but Banks broke it up heading into the break.

Coming out of the break, Brie delivered Daniel Bryan style kicks to Paige and then Lynch. Paige broke it up, but Brie got the better of her and threw kicks at her. Later, they set up a tower of doom spot with Lynch throwing the other women off the ropes and down to the mat. They all stayed down. The fans chanted “this is awesome.”

Lynch threw clotheslines at each of her opponents while Cole said, “These Divas are putting on a show.” Ugh. Lynch threw a wicked suplex on Brie and then applied the Disarmer, but Banks broke it up and threw Brie to ringside. Sasha got a two count on Lynch off a neckbreaker, then applied the Bank Statement. Paige ran in and broke up the submission. Paige tossed Banks to ringside and hit the Rampaige on Lynch and scored the pin…

Paige defeated Sasha Banks, Brie Bella, and Becky Lynch in 13:25 to become No. 1 contender to the Divas Championship.

After the match

Byron Saxton entered the ring and interviewed Paige, who said Brie, Sasha, and Lynch are losers. She said the fans are losers if they cheered for any of them. She said they will also be losers if they cheer for Charlotte. She said this is her house, then blew a kiss and shooed Saxton away…

Cole set up a Survivor Series video from 2014. They still ran through what was happening in pop culture even though it was just last year. They focussed on the Team Authority vs. Team Cena match… A WWE Breaking Ground commercial was shown. The second episode airs on WWE Network after Raw…

After a recap of the Divas match played, Renee Young interviewed Charlotte backstage about defending the title against Paige at Survivor Series. She said it’s obvious that Paige will do anything to win but so will she. Charlotte begged her to keep beating the same drum about her being there because she’s Ric Flair’s daughter. She said that makes her work that much harder and Paige will learn the hard way that she earned the Divas Championship…

New Day made their entrance and spoke as they made their entrance. Once in the ring, they said their favorite band, reality show, and Destiny’s Child song is Survivor. Their favorite book and movie is Lone Survivor. They said they would lead Team Rollins to victory because New Day rocks…

Owens was in the ring with New Day after the break, then Rollins made his entrance. Roman Reigns made his entrance as the announcers questioned whether he has partners. The Uso Brothers made their entrance. "Hey, they're back," Cole said. He added that they would join Jonathan Coachman on ESPNews tomorrow night. Ryback was out next, followed by Dean Ambrose...

Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Ryback, and Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods in a Survivor Series elimination match.

The Uso Brothers teamed up to eliminate Woods in the first 30 seconds of the match with a top rope splash.

Kingston was eliminated by an Uso top rope splash at 7:45 to make it 5-3 in favor of Team Reigns. Big E came back and hit the Big Ending on Jey Uso to eliminate him from the match at 8:30. Kevin Owens hit the Pop-Up Powerbomb on Jimmy Uso to eliminate him at 9:05. Owens caught Reigns with a kick to the face heading into the break with the teams each having three men remaining.

Reigns sold coming out of the break. At 19:50, Reigns sent Rollins to ringside and then tagged in Ryback. Rollins tagged in Big E. Ryback dominated Big E initially, but E put him down with a clothesline. E ran the ropes and then ran into a Meathook Clothesline. After some commotion at ringside, Big E performed a belly-to-belly on Ryback for a good near fall.

Big E went for his finisher, but Ryback slipped out and Shellshocked him for the pin. Big E was eliminated by Ryback at 21:35 to make it 3-2 in favor of Team Reigns. However, Rollins performed a Pedigree on Ryback and pinned him at 21:50 to even things up again.

[Overrun]

The match came down to Reigns and Ambrose vs. Rollins and Owens. Ambrose got a near fall on Rollins following his flying elbow move off the top rope. Rollins caught Ambrose with a kick and then caught him with the superkick and covered him, but Reigns broke it up. Owens tagged in and performed a gutbuster on Ambrose.

Owens taunted Reigns before throwing punches at Ambrose. Owens asked Rollins if he wanted to take care of Ambrose, then tagged him into the match. Rollins caught Ambrose with a flying knee off the second rope, then tagged Owens back into the match. "Why won't you die, Dean?" Ambrose asked from the corner.

Ambrose threw punches at Owens, who cut him off with a knee to the gut. Rollins jawed at Ambrose about being a third wheel as Owens held him. Owens asked Rollins what he was doing. Ambrose broke free and punched both men, but Owens caught him with a shot. Rollins went for another flying knee on Ambrose, who moved, causing Rollins to hit Owens instead. Ambrose performed Dirty Deeds on Owens and eliminated him at 27:40.

Rollins was left alone to face Reigns and Ambrose. The fans chanted "you sold out" at Rollins. Ambrose tagged Reigns into the match and Rollins immediately showed fear. Rollins tried to leave, but Ambrose stopped him. Reigns roughed up Rollins at ringside by slamming him into the ring apron and the broadcast table, then caught him with a running kick.

Reigns slid Rollins back inside the ring and threw ten clotheslines at him in the corner as the crowd counted along. Reigns tagged in Ambrose. Reigns put Rollins on his shoulders and Ambrose went up top, but Rollins fought free. Rollins tried to leave again, but Ambrose caught him. Rollins struck Ambrose with the chair for the DQ at 30:15.

Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Ryback, and The Uso Brothers defeated Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods in an elimination match in 30:15.

After the match, Rollins struck both men with the chair. After taking out Ambrose, Rollins went to work on Reigns and rolled him inside the ring. Rollins stood on the apron and played to the crowd with a big smile. Once he entered the ring, Reigns stood up and clocked him with a Superman Punch that knocked Rollins to the floor. Rollins took his title belt and ran to the stage. Ambrose rejoined Reigns in the ring as they glared at Rollins to close the show...
