All Elite Wrestling will be holding a special AEW Grand Slam edition of Dynamite this September from Arthur Ashe Stadium in Flushing, NY.

According to Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast, this year's Grand Slam will take place Wednesday, September 20th.

Grand Slam 2023 will cap off a remarkable month of shows for AEW that will include:

  • August 27: All Out (Wembley Stadium, London)
  • September 3: All In (United Center, Chicago)
  • September 20: Grand Slam (Arthur Ashe Stadium, NYC)

This September will mark the third annual Grand Slam event.

The first Grand Slam took place September 22, 2021. The top match saw Kenny Omega wrestle Bryan Danielson in a 30-minute time limit draw. Other top matches on the show included Malakai Black defeating Cody Rhodes and Dr. Britt Baker retaining the AEW Women's World Championship against Ruby Soho in the main event.

Last year’s Grand Slam was held September 21, 2022. The show was headlined by Jon Moxley defeating Bryan Danielson in the the finals of a tournament to crown a new AEW World Champion.

AEW has historically marketed Grand Slam as a "2-night" event, first holding a live AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam special, and then taping a 'Grand Slam' edition of Rampage afterwards.
