Ticket sales for AEW All In show no signs of slowing down.
All Elite Wrestling could have taken a more-modest approach to its UK debut, but they went big. Real big. AEW All In takes place Saturday, August 27 from London's historic Wembley Stadium.
Approximately two months out, with no matches announces, Wrestletix reports that 74,888 tickets have been distributed for the event (as of Monday afternoon).
As tickets have been selling and as AEW finalizes the staging and production setup, more sections of tickets have been opened. The venue is currently configured to accomodate 87,825 fans.
AEW All In has already shattered the company's all-time live gate. At last count, the ticket sales have grossed over $8 million, but that was when the ticket count was far lower than 75,000.
As wrestling historian David Bixenspan points out, All In is closing in on pro wrestling's all-time *verifiable* live attendance record, which is 80,709 for WrestleMania 32 from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX. WWE announced the attendance as 101,763, but that number was significantly inflated and "unofficial."
The attendance for WrestleMania 3 (1987), announced as 93,173 is disputed, but the actual number of distributed tickets is believed to be lower than WrestleMania 32.
