A report has emerged regarding IMPACT Wrestling star Heath (formerly known as Heath Slater in WWE). It has come to light that he could become a free agent in the near future.

Heath is popular for his run with WWE. He was part of Nexus stable led by Wade Barrett back in the day. He was also a part of 3MB with Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre, who both became WWE Champions.

He was released amid the budget cuts in April 2020. His final match in WWE was against his former 3MB teammate, Drew McIntyre. 'The Scottish Warrior' had convincingly defeated Heath and was then attacked by Dolph Ziggler. McIntyre came to his former stablemate's aid and they went on to share a hug in the ring. Heath had returned for a one-off in July which marked his final appearance for the company.

Eventually, he made his debut in IMPACT Wrestling at Slammiversary 2020. Since then, he has been signed with the company.

During his early days in the company, he had sustained a serious injury and had time added to his deal. Heath teamed up with former WWE tag team partner Rhyno and won the IMPACT World Tag Team Championship on October 20 last year during an episode of IMPACT Wrestling. They later dropped the titles to the Motor City Machine Guns.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that Heath is set to become a free agent in October. His deal with IMPACT Wrestling will expire, and the concerned parties haven't reached an agreement on a new deal.

There is a possibility that Heath might head back to WWE. Most recently, Nia Jax, who was previously released from the company made her return.

We will have to wait and see what the future holds for Heath.
