The stars of All Elite Wrestling have reportedly been feeling frustrated by creative plans being made at the last minute by management.

Since launching in 2019, Tony Khan has tried to differentiate his promotion from AEW's chief rival WWE. Over the years, many AEW fans have taken shots at WWE and the last-minute changes often made by Vince McMahon. During the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, however, Dave Meltzer reported that decisions about plans for talent are being made much later than they once were.

"If you follow AEW, you know that a lot of these things are being decided a lot later than previous. Guys are getting their information about what they’re doing later, and decisions are being made later. That’s just how it is. At times, it’s the day of the show, and they don’t know.

"It’s almost like at times, the way we used to talk about WWE … which is also very frustrating for talent."

Meltzer did point out that a lot of AEW talent have a say in what they do on Television but that things get difficult when they don't know what the long-term plans are.

AEW's next pay-per-view will be their annual 'Full Gear' event that will take place next month. In December, the promotion will host its first 'Worlds End' pay-per-view on December 30. Next year, Sting will retire from in-ring competition at AEW Revolution 2024, three years after his in-ring debut for AEW at the same event. AEW will return to London in August 2024 for their second All In event, which was recently promoted at a WWE live event.
