Could Mercedes Moné be All Elite one day? Tony Khan would love to see it happen.

Following Moné's departure from WWE in 2022, rumors circulated that the former Raw & SmackDown Women's Champion would join AEW. Instead, Moné signed with New Japan Pro Wrestling, debuting for the company at Wrestle Kingdom 17 in January of this year. The following month, Moné captured the IWGP Women's Championship but is currently out of action due to an ankle injury.

With a huge signing being promised in the days running up to Full Gear, there was speculation that Moné would be joining the company. Instead, fellow New Japan talent Will Ospreay signed with AEW. Speaking on the post-show media scrum, Tony Khan was asked about possibly bringing in Mercedes.

"She was at AEW All In and it was great having her as a part of the show. I have a ton of respect for Mercedes Moné. We'd love to have her anytime in AEW. She's had great experience also, with our partner New Japan Pro Wrestling so she would be a great addition to AEW, anytime, and we'd always love to have her here. I have a ton of respect for her and have had great conversations with her and I think the world of her."

Also on the media scrum, Khan discussed Ronda Rousey, who made her ROH debut during the most recent tapings for AEW's sister brand.

"She is not signed, but we had a great conversation... We would love to have her back some time, it was really fun, her being out here. She's a local and lives nearby and that helped make it possible. Anytime it's convenient, we would love to have her back."

Rousey's match at the ROH taping marked her third match since leaving WWE. She has teamed with fellow MMA Horsewoman Marina Shafir in all three matches.
