Bryan Danielson confirmed that he is apart of the disciplinary commitee for AEW and was invothe decision to terminate CM Punk, but was he the "head" of it?

Speaking with CBS Sports, an eye-patched "American Dragon" was asked about his actual involvement in the newsworthy process of CM Punk being terminated with cause. Danielson confirmed his involvement in the decision, but made an aspect of it clear.

"I like CM Punk. I think he brought a lot to AEW while he was there."

However, Danielson wasn't shocked to hear the report that he was steering the ship of it all.

“You know how the Internet is. There’s like, some people would say I was the ‘head’ of the disciplinary committee and I’m like, ‘Listen, there were more people involved in this decision, but most of them were all lawyers, to say that I was the head - I don’t even have a college degree (laughs). I’m not in there bossing people around.or anything like that.”

The interviewer followed up, asking Danielson if it was difficult to be apart of the team that decided to fire a person he calls a friend, to which he said, "absolutely."

"I wish him the best in his future and I hope his run there goes well."
