AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland will be appearing for an indie match at House of Wrestling’s event, High Intensity, set to take place on Friday, July 26.

The news comes from a report by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select. According to the report, Strickland with Prince Nana will wrestle “The Underground King” Amazing Red in the main event for HOF High Intensity live at the NYC Arena.

Tickets for the event can be booked on the House of Wrestling’s website.

Strickland last appeared on an HOG event in December 2023, where he defeated TNA’s “Speedball” Mike Bailey. He has previously appeared on the promotion multiple times, even challenging for the HOG Tag Team, Crown Jewel, and World Championships.

The wrestler formerly known as Swerve Scott in WWE has been enjoying his time as AEW World Champion. Recently, he showed off a new grill, which you can check out below:

He also recently appeared on The Bootleg Kev podcast, and talked about a potential crossover that could take place between WWE and AEW.

"If there's ever a time it could happen, now is more likely than it's ever been. I don't think either person [Tony Khan and Triple H] is opposed... I don't think there's ever been a time that's more likely than now."

Strickland is set to defend his AEW World Championship against AEW International Champion Will Ospreay at Forbidden Door on June 30.
