Well, quite the start to the year and only a couple of days in with mass shooting in New York outside a nightclub and mass shooting in Montenegro (a Balkan country.) We have a bomb in a cybertruck going off in Las Vegas and mass people being run over in New Orleans. Two New Zealand police officers (Senior Sergeant Lyn Fleming and Senior Sergeant Adam Ramsay) were deliberately run down at 2am local time while patrolling New Years Day and sadly Lyn Fleming died later in hospital. Adam Ramsay is in a stable condition in hospital. All these events are just the ones we know about so far.
R.I.P to people who have passed away and UOW sends its best wishes and thoughts to those in hospital from these early 2025 tragedies. Also UOW sends its best wishes and thoughts to all family and friends of these people.
What else has 2025 have in store for us?
