A new documentary into the UFO phenomenon will feature interviews with 34 current and former US government officials.
Created by filmmaker Dan Farah, The Age of Disclosure is described as an "unprecedented and revelatory film" that delves deep into the subject of UFOs, alien visitation and government cover-ups.

It will include interviews with 34 current and former members of the US military and intelligence communities, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio, New York senator Kirsten Gillibrand and former director of National Intelligence General Jim Clapper.

Other prominent individuals featured include former Department of Defense official Christopher Mellon and Luis Elizondo of the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP).

"The film was granted unprecedented access and support from senior members of the U.S. government, military and intelligence community," the official synopsis reads.

"Everyone interviewed in the film has direct knowledge of UAP as a result of their work for the U.S. Government. The film exposes the profound impact the situation has on the future of humanity, while providing a look behind the scenes with those at the forefront of the bipartisan disclosure effort."

According to reports, the documentary was actually made in secret over two years, perhaps in fear of attracting the wrong kind of attention from those who might want to stop it from seeing the light of day.

While a distributor for the film is still being sought, it is set to premiere at the South by Southwest Film Festival in March.
