Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso to be under the same roof as John Cena and Logan Paul
Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso will be under the same roof as Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena and Logan Paul just one night before their blockbuster tag team match at WWE Money in the Bank.
Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss, Stephanie Vaquer, Naomi, Giulia, Roxanne Perez, Seth Rollins w/Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed & Paul Heyman are all shown arriving to the arena.
Wade Barrett and Joe Tessitore greet audiences at home as Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Paul Heyman all make their way to the ring.
Rollins introduces himself and says he will take everything tomorrow night when he wins the Men's Money In The Bank briefcase. He says he will have absolute power and total control, then says that power extends to "SmackDown" and he has a message: if anyone stands in their way, then they will suffer the same fate as those who already have done so such as Sami Zayn, CM Punk, and Roman Reigns. He says Reigns won't be coming to save the fans nor does he care about them, then says he will drag the WWE Universe into the future kicking and screaming. He says no one can stop him.
Solo Sikoa's music hits, and he makes his way out alongside JC Mateo and Jacob Fatu. Sikoa says Rollins says if anyone stands in his way that nobody can stop them, then says he's standing in the ring with Mateo and Fatu. He taunts Breakker and Reed, then tells Heyman that it's been a long time no see. Rollins asks Sikoa if he's threatened by Breakker or Reed, but Sikoa cuts Rollins off and says he's threated by one Fatu in the ring and it isn't Sikoa.
Sikoa looks to square up to Rollins, but Breakker steps in front of Rollins. Fatu then steps up and stares down Breakker, but Rollins inserts himself and stares down Fatu. Rollins, Breakker, Reed, and Heyman back down, but Jimmy Uso attacks Sikoa, Fatu, and Mateo from behind.
JC Mateo (w/ Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu) vs. Jimmy Uso
The bell rings and Mateo slides out of the ring. He gets back inside, but Jimmy fires off chops on him in the corner and rains down right hands on him. Mateo sends Jimmy crashing into the mat with a slam, then fires off chops on Jimmy. Jimmy flies through the middle rope to level Mateo on the outside, but Mateo sends Jimmy crashing into the barricade shoulder first and sends Jimmy's head bouncing off the ring apron.
Mateo dumps Jimmy back inside the ring, then lands a headbutt on Jimmy and follows it up with a Hip Attack. Mateo cinches in a submission on Jimmy, then follows it up with a moonsault on him. Jimmy delivers a Samoan Drop to Mateo, then flies off the middle rope to level Mateo. Mateo sends Jimmy crashing into the mat with a spinning slam and charges at Jimmy in the corner, but Jimmy gets his boot up and connects with a spear on Mateo.
Sikoa hops up on the apron to distract the referee, but Fatu hops up on the apron. Mateo looks to take advantage and charges at Fatu, but accidentally hits Fatu on the apron. Jimmy then rolls up Mateo for the win.
Winner: Jimmy Uso
After the match, Fatu and Mateo scream at each other and Fatu leaves while Sikoa and Mateo stand in the ring.
Zelina Vega is shown walking backstage and she crosses paths with Giulia. She tells Giulia that if she wants to take Vega's title, she'll have to take it from her dead body. Giulia laughs it off and says she likes Vega's confidence.
Jacob Fatu walks backstage and Damian Priest stops him and tells him he knows Fatu is going through with family. He tells Fatu that at some point he's coming for Fatu's championship.
The Secret Hervice then makes their way to the ring. Zelina Vega follows.
Bakersfield Brawl: Piper Niven w/Chelsea Green & Alba Fye vs. Zelina Vega
The bell rings and the two lock up. Vega grabs a kendo stick on the outside and hits Niven with it repeatedly, but Niven grabs the kendo stick. Vega connects with a Codebreaker on Niven, then lands a dropkick on her through the bottom rope and delivers a double stomp before looking to follow it up with a hurricanrana off the ring steps. Niven catches Vega and gets her in an Electric Chair position, then sends her crashing into the ring apron face first and follows it up with a crossbody.
Niven sets up a chair in the corner and whips Vega into it spine first, then sits Vega on the chair and charges at her looking to land a cannonball. Vega moves out of the way and Niven is sent crashing into the chair, then connects with a meteora off the middle rope. Niven lands a slam on Vega and goes for a pin, but Vega kicks out.
Niven grabs a chain and uses it to wear down Vega, then sets up the chain in the corner and sends Vega crashing into it face first. Vega responds with a Code Red to Niven off the middle rope and pins her, but Fyre breaks the fall. Green and Fyre beat down Vega and slide a table into the ring as Niven delivers a Falcon Arrow to Vega on the floor. Giulia appears out of nowhere and flies off the barricade to level Green and Fyre. She hits Niven with a kendo stick, opening the door for Vega to send Niven crashing through a table for the win.
Winner: Zelina Vega
After the match, Giulia holds up Vega's hand but blindsides her with an attack. She steps on top of her and holds up the Women's United States Championship before heading to the back.
Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso and Cody Rhodes talk in the locker room. They ask him if he's good and Jey asks why everyone is worried for him. Jimmy says he's just checking in because of his match tomorrow. Jey says let's worry about tomorrow, tomorrow.
A video package for Aleister Black plays where he talks about taking on LA Knight ahead of his match tonight.
LA Knight then makes his way to the ring with a microphone in hand to express his confidence in winning the Men's Money In The Bank briefcase tomorrow night and size up the rest of the competition. Aleister Black follows.
Aleister Black vs. LA Knight
The bell rings and the two lock up. Black rolls up Knight, but Knight kicks out and rolls up Black. Black kicks out, then wears down Knight with a submission hold. Knight runs over Black with a clothesline before the action spills out of the ring. Knight dumps Black back inside and lands a flying shoulder tackle on him over the top rope, then ascends up the ropes. Black intercepts Knight and knocks him off the ropes, then fires off chops on his chest.
Knight and Black teeter on the ropes, but Knight gets Black up on his shoulders. Black escapes, but Knight rolls him up. Black kicks out and exchanges right hands with Knight, but Seth Rollins appears out of nowhere and lands a Curb Stomp on Knight, causing the disqualification.
Winner by DQ: LA Knight
After the match, Rollins lines Knight up for another stomp but Black stands in the way. Breakker comes from behind and spears Black and Rollins throws Black out of the ring. In the ring, Reed hits a Senton on Knight and Breakker hits a running spear on Knight.
Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce are shown in a pre-recorded video and they talk about The King and Queen of the Ring tournament next month where the winner can challenge one of the champs at SummerSlam.
Byron Saxton talks to Jade Cargill backstage. Saxton asks Cargill what she thinks about competing in The Queen of the Ring Tournament. Cargill says she'll win and at SummerSlam she'll take the gold. Saxton asks about Cargill's relationship with Bianca Belair. Charlotte Flair stops Cargill that salt and sugar look the same so be weary of your friends. Flair says she'll win, and Tiffany Stratton comes by and wishes them luck for Queen of the Ring.
Legado del Fantasma cuts a promo via pre-recorded video. They talk about their battle at Worlds Collide.
Byron Saxton talks to Chad Gable and The Creed Brothers. Saxton talks to Gable about his match at Worlds Collide. He says he's sad he's not in Money in the Bank but he'll be in the history books tomorrow. Andrade comes up to them and says some stuff in Spanish and Gable just responds with Si. Penta comes up to them and he and Andrade joke around and Gable gets pissed. Nick Aldis comes by and tells them to settle this in the ring.
Tiffany Stratton then makes her way to the ring.
Stratton says she didn't just become the youngest Ms. Money In The Bank last year, but she became the it girl of WWE. She says everyone in the match will try to do what she did last year, but whoever wins will trend for one night only.
Rhea Ripley's music hits, and she makes her way out. She tells Stratton that she's never been part of the Money In The Bank Ladder match before because she's never had to be. She says she doesn't know what it feels like to win the briefcase, but she knows what it feels like to be a champion and she misses that feeling.
Stephanie Vaquer's music hits, and she makes her way out. Alexa Bliss, Giulia, Roxanne Perez, and Naomi all follow.
Giulia, Roxanne Perez, and Naomi vs. Stephanie Vaquer, Alexa Bliss, and Rhea Ripley
Vaquer and Giulia begin the action. The bell rings and the pair take turns pinning one another and reversing the falls. Vaquer set up for the Devil's Kiss, but Giulia stomps on her spine and tags in Naomi. Naomi connects with a basement clothesline on Vaquer and sends her crashing into the mat as Ripley and Bliss take out Giulia and Perez respectively.
Naomi trips Vaquer and sends her crashing into the bottom rope, then tags in Perez. Perez fires off stomps on Vaquer in the corner, then tags in Giulia. Giulia lands a suplex on Vaquer, then tags Naomi back in. Bliss tags in on her side and levels Naomi with a back elbow, then sends her crashing into the mat with a blockbuster. Perez makes the blind tag in but Bliss doesn't see and drapes Naomi off the middle rope by her knees. She lands a cannonball off the apron to level Giulia and Naomi on the outside, but Perez sneaks up behind her and sends Bliss crashing into the ring steps.
Giulia tags back in and double teams on Bliss with Perez, then connects with a shotgun dropkick on her and tags Naomi back in. Naomi continues wearing down Bliss and jams her boot into the back of her neck as Giulia does the same to Bliss' face from the apron. Perez tags back in and continues wearing down Bliss, but Naomi tags back in. Bliss lands a DDT on Naomi and tags in Ripley.
Perez tags in on her side, and Ripley levels her with a Fallaway Slam. She follows it up with Razor's Edge and a dropkick, then goes for a pin but Perez kicks out. Bliss delivers a Sister Abigail to Giulia, but Perez levels Bliss with a superkick. Ripley takes down Perez.
Perez looks to tag out to Naomi, but Naomi hops off the apron and refuses to tag in. This opens the door for Ripley to deliver Rip Tide to Perez for the win.
Winners: Stephanie Vaquer, Alexa Bliss, and Rhea Ripley
Solo Sikoa talks to JC Mateo about winning Money in the Bank and says as long as he has Mateo and Jacob Fatu in his corner, he'll be good. Mateo tells Sikoa that Fatu won't be there for him. Sikoa tells Mateo that Fatu is stupid and will listen to him because Fatu is all gas and no brains. As they leave we see that Fatu was listening around the corner.
As the WWE shows signs of the night, it's interrupted by a video promo from Bo Dallas. He says The Wyatt Sicks is a family and he's watched the tag division and questions their loyalties. He says the tag divisions brotherhood will be tested.
The tag team division is backstage with Nick Aldis and they react to that video. The all accuse each other for pissing off The Wyatt Sicks. Fraxiom suggests they teach The Wyatts a lesson. Motor City Machine Guns tells DIY that they should take the fight to The Wyatts. DIY thinks that's a great idea.
Penta and Andrade then make their way to the ring. American Made follows.
Penta and Andrade vs. Julius Creed and Brutus Creed (w/ Chad Gable)
Penta and Andrade take flight over the top rope to level The Creed Brothers on the outside. They dump them back in the ring and the bell sounds. Andrade lands meteoras on Julius and Brutus in opposite corners.
Penta and Julius tag in, and Penta fires off chops on both Julius and Brutus' chests. Andrade tags back in, but Julius levels him with a Gut Wrench suplex and follows it up with a belly-to-belly suplex. Brutus tags in and stomps on Andrade's neck, but Andrade fires off chops on Julius' neck. Julius jams his knee into the back of Andrade's neck, then tags in Brutus. Julius fires off shoulders on Andrade's midsection, and Andrade delivers a cannonball to Brutus in the corner.
Brutus tags in and rocks Andrade with several forearms. He follows it up with the Brutus Smash. Penta tags back in and levels Julius with a crossbody off the top rope, then follows it up with a hurricanrana and a kick to the back of his thigh.
Gable looks to pull off Penta's mask while the referee is distracted by Andrade, but El Hijo del Vikingo pulls Gable off the apron and brawls with him through the crowd. Julius looks to take advantage and rolls up Penta, but Penta kicks out. Andrade clocks Julius with a forearm, and Penta follows it up with a Mexican Destroyer to Julius off the middle rope for the win.
Winners: Penta and Andrade
After Andrade and Penta's win, Seth Rollins' music hits and he makes his way out alongside Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Paul Heyman. Breakker, Reed, and Rollins surround the ring and beat down Penta and Andrade inside. Reed lands a senton on Penta, and Rollins lands a Curb Stomp on him and Andrade. Reed lands a Tsunami on Penta off the rop before officials run out to break things apart.
Heyman grabs a mic and gloats about Rollins being the future of wrestling and doing everything he said he would do, then says he will become Mr. Money In The Bank tomorrow night. Cody Rhodes' music cuts off Heyman, and he makes his way out. Jey Uso follows as Rhodes and Rollins tensely stare one another down.
Rhodes asks Bakersfield what they want to talk about, then says they could talk about Money In The Bank, the Intuit Dome, Jey, John Cena, or Logan Paul. He recalls Cena calling Rhodes desperate last week, then says he found that bold coming from him after all he's done. He says desperate is WrestleMania 41 when Cena sacrificed his morals for a title, then says tomorrow night will be a showdown.
Cena's music hits, and he makes his way out. He calls for a ring announcement, but Paul appears out of nowhere and attacks both Rhodes and Jey from behind. Cena delivers an Attitude Adjustment to Jey, and Paul connects with a Paul-verizer and a Frog Splash on Rhodes. He delivers another one to Jey.
Cena grabs a microphone and tells the fans to take a good look because no one is coming to save them as he's said for half a year. Paul grabs the World Heavyweight Championship and holds it up as Cena hypes him up and calls him the future. Cena then delivers a second Attitude Adjustment to Rhodes and tells fans they can't handle the truth. He says this is his last time in Bakersfield, and says winners write the history books. He stands tall holding up the Undisputed WWE Championship as Paul holds up the World Heavyweight Championship and the show goes off the air.
