Angry WWE RAW Live Coverage - December 15th, 2025

Gunther returns after making John Cena tap out in his final match

In a surreal moment, Gunther made John Cena tap out in his final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Receiving universal disdain from the WWE Universe and his fellow Superstars, The Ring General now returns to Monday night.

    — The show kicks off with a video recapping John Cena's final match at Saturday Night's Main Event.

    — Wade Barrett and Joe Tessitore then greet audiences at home as GUNTHER makes his way to the ring.

GUNTHER says he did what he said he was going to do and made John Cena give up. He says Cena is a little b****, then drops the microphone and immediately heads up the ramp.

GUNTHER decides to storm back to the ring and stands on the turnbuckles as a means of gloating, then stands back up on the announce desk and reiterates his point about making Cena tap out.

GUNTher cockily takes another lap around the ring and continues to laugh, then opts to head to the back as he continues smiling. He runs into an angry Otis and Akira Tozawa, and Otis sarcastically asks GUNTHER if he feels good. GUNTHER says he does, then runs into R-Truth who calls GUNTHER a piece of trash. GUNTHER brushes him off, but runs into Adam Pearce. Pearce chews out GUNTHER and tells him to leave, to which GUNTHER responds by telling him that he was going to leave anyways.

GUNTHER runs into AJ Styles outside of the arena, but Styles tensely stares him down as he stands next to GUNTHER's car. GUNTHER then mockingly does Cena's "you can't see me" gesture and drives off in the car.

    — We see Paul Heyman, Logan Paul Bron Breakker, & Bronson Reed, Stephanie Vaquer, Ivy Nile & The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus), and CM Punk all arriving at the arena or walking backstage.

    — The Usos make their way to the ring. New Day and Grayson Waller follow.

The New Day (w/ Grayson Waller) vs. The Usos

Jimmy and Kingston begin the action. The bell rings and the two lock up. Jimmy lands a chop on Kingston, then tags in Jey. Jey rocks Kingston with an enzuigiri, but Kingston sends Jey crashing out of the ring.

During the commercial break, Waller lands a cheap open palm strike on Jey after Woods has tagged in. Kingston tags back in and delivers a splash on Jey in the corner, but Jimmy tags back in back from the break. Jimmy looks to get Kingston up on his shoulders, but Kingston escapes and Jimmy rocks him with an enzuigiri. Jimmy ascends to the top rope, but Waller trips him up and sends Jimmy crashing into the ring post on the outside as Kingston distracts the referee.

Woods tags in and delivers the Unicorn Stampede to Jimmy with Kingston. Woods lands a shotgun dropkick on Jimmy, but Jey tags in and whips Kingston into the corner. Jey connects with a tope suicida on Woods on the outside of the ring, then ascends to the top rope and delivers a crossbody to Kingston.

Kingston tags in during another commercial break and double teams on Jey with Woods. He wears down Jey with another submission hold, then tags in Woods. Jey levels Woods with a headbutt, but the referee catches Waller trying to interfere again and ejects him from ringside.

Jimmy tags back in, and The Usos rock him and Kingston with double superkicks. Jimmy and Jey then ascend to opposite top toes and connect with double splashes on Woods before Jey pins Woods. Woods kicks out, but Kingston sends Jey crashing into the ring steps as Woods rolls up Jimmy in the ring. Jimmy kicks out.

Kingston tags in and Woods gets Jimmy up on one shoulder. Jimmy escapes and catches Kingston with a superkick as he flies off the middle rope. Jey spears Woods on the outside as Kingston tries to land Trouble In Paradise on Jimmy, but Jimmy catches him with a superkick and tags in Jey. The Usos then deliver 1-D to Kingston, and Jey pins him for the win.

    Winners: The Usos

    — We get a prerecorded promo for The Kabuki Warriors where they tell Iyo Sky that they loved her and she turned her back on them by choosing Rhea Ripley over them.

    — Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky are shown walking backstage.

    — The Vision is backstage. Logan Paul tells Bronson Reed that he took out LA Knight with the Tsunamis. Bron Breakker tells them that they should be on alert because CM Punk is here. They talk about the masked man and Paul Heyman says they can use the help. Breakker tells Heyman that he wants to take out Punk tonight. WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship Match: Maxxine Dupri (c) vs. Ivy Nile

The bell rings and the two women stare one another down. Nile rolls up Dupri, but Dupri kicks out and whips Nile into the corner. Dupri ascends to the top rope, but Nile trips her and joins her on the ropes. Dupri then uses the ropes to wrench back on Nile's arm, but Nile responds with a suplex to Dupri on the outside and dumps her back in the ring during the commercial break.

Nile delivers a back suplex to Dupri and pins her, but Dupri kicks out and looks to land a kick on Nile. Nile ducks out of the way and Dupri's leg lands on the top turnbuckle back from the break, but Dupri levels Nile with a hurricanrana and a big boot abc from the break. She lands another big boot on Nile, then connects with a splash on her in the corner and gallows it up with a suplex.

Dupri pins Nile, but Nile kicks out and delivers a powerbomb to Dupri. Dupri looks to cinch in an Ankle Lock on Nile, but Nile avoids it. Dupri then fully cinches in an Ankle Lock on Dupri, but Nile escapes until Dupri cinches in the hold on her once again and takes it to the mat. Nile taps out.

    — CM Punk makes his way to the ring.

Punk says he was forced to missed two episodes of "Raw" because he wasn't medically cleared to compete or fly. He says he hurt, but it still wasn't as painful as the last two weeks hearing Bron Breakker talk. He says while brains don't run in Breakker's family, he still signed up for war and won with his team. He says Breakker had the audacity to say it was easy to beat him and pin him, then says while Breakker wants 2011 Punk, he can't even handle 2025 Punk without a lot of help from his friends.

Punk says Heyman has taken many talents and gassed them up too soon before they're ready, then warns Breakker about mentioning AJ Lee's name again and says Breakker doesn't have the belief in himself to carry WWE on his shoulders. Rodriguez sends Vaquer crashing into the mat with a powerbomb, but Vaquer catches Rodriguez with a back suplex and connects with the Devil's Kiss on her. She sends Rodriguez crashing into the ring post on the outside, but Nikki Bella appears out of nowhere and attacks Vaquer to cause the disqualification.

She says she paved the roads for the women's roster and is pissed she's not getting the respect she deserves and tells Stephanie Vaquer and Raquel Rodriguez that they should be shining her boots.

    — Bayley and Maxxine Dupri celebrate backstage. Dupri leaves and Lyra Valkyria comes by and asks Bayley how she's doing. Bayley says losing to Sol Ruca has screwed up her confidence. Valkyria tells Bayley she didn't think this was the Bayley she knows. Bayley snaps and leaves and Valkyria stands around for a bit and says "there she is".

    — Rey Mysterio makes his way to the ring. Logan Paul and Paul Heyman follow.

Logan Paul (w/ Paul Heyman) vs. Rey Mysterio

Rey rains down right hands on Paul in the corner of the ring, but Paul trips Rey. Rey delivers a senton to Paul on the outside off the ring apron, but Paul whips Rey into one of the barricades during the break and jams his knees into Rey in the corner. Paul connects with an over the shoulder powerslam on Rey back from the break and sets up for a powerbomb on him, but Rey escapes and looks to dial it up for a 619 on Paul.

Paul intercepts Rey with a big boot and delivers The Three Amigos to him, looking to deliver the last suplex to Rey off the ropes. Rey fights his way out and powerbombs Paul off the ropes, then delivers a splash to Paul on the outside under the bottom rope.

Rey dumps Paul back in the ring, but Reed and Breakker emerge at ringside. CM Punk follows them and hits him with a chair across their spines, then chases them to the back. This opens the door for Rey to deliver a Crucifix Bomb to Paul and pin him, but Paul kicks out. Rey then looks to fly off the ropes, but Paul catches him and sends him crashing into the mat face first.

Heyman slides a pair of brass knuckles onto Paul's hand, and Paul looks to land a right hand on Rey with them. Rey sees Paul coming and dials it up for a 619 on him, then spots the brass knuckles that Paul had dropped and slides them onto his hand. As Heyman distracts the referee, the hooded figure appears at ringside and lands a Curb Stomp on Rey on the ring apron. This opens the door for Paul to land a Frog Splash on Rey for the win.

    Winner: Logan Paul

    — Punk reemerges at ringside with a chair in hand, forcing Paul to slide out of the ring and the hooded person runs up the stairs through the crowd. The hooded person takes off their hood to reveal themselves as...Austin Theory!

Breakker runs back out to ringside and surprises Punk with a spear as Punk yells at Theory. He grabs the World Heavyweight Championship belt and holds it up, standing tall with Paul and Heyman as the show goes off the air.
