Thursday Night iMPACT! on AMC
The Hardys join forces with The Righteous to take on The System in a high-stakes Eight-Man Tag Team match. With reputations on the line, The Righteous aim to silence the doubters and prove they are legit.
— We are live! Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt greet audiences at home as Mike Santana and Leon Slater make their way to the ring. Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth follow, and Frankie Kazarian joins the commentary desk.
Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth vs. Mike Santana and Leon Slater
Nic and Slater begin the action. The bell rings and the two lock up. Ryan tags in and fires off a stomp on Slater in the corner before Nic tags back in and Slater catches him with a reverse enzuigiri. Santana levels Ryan on the apron with a clothesline, but Nic helps Ryan up. Slater then flies over the top rope with a crossbody to level both Ryan and Nic on the outside.
Slater dumps Nic back in the ring, then delivers a double stomp to his spine and tags in Santana. Nic levels Santana with a superkick, then tags out to Ryan. Ryan delivers a double ax handle to Santana, but Nic tags back in and jams his finger into Santana's eye. He continues to wear down Santana, then tags Nic back in. Ryan then continues to wear down Santana.
Back from the break, Santana delivers a jumping cutter to Ryan and tags out to Slater as Nic tags in on his side. Slater levels Nic with a springboard spinning back heel kick, then follows it up with a big boot to him in the corner and ascends to the top rope. He delivers a crossbody to Nic and pins him, but Nic kicks out.
Santana tags back in and levels Ryan with an enzuigiri, then dumps him out of the ring and delivers a dropkick to Ryan through the bottom rope. Having tagged in, Slater looks to fly off the top rope. Nic moves out of the way and delivers a Zig Zag to Slater. He goes for a pin, but Slater kicks out.
Eric Young appears on the entrance ramp and distracts Slater. Slater sets up for a 450 Splash on Nic, but Nic gets his knees up and pins Slater for the win.
Winners: Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth
— Dani Luna then makes her way to the ring. Léi Yǐng Lee and Xia Brookside follow.
Dani Luna vs. Léi Yǐng Lee (w/ Xia Brookside)
The bell rings and the two lock up. Lee runs over Luna with a knee, but Luna responds with a powerbomb to Lee and goes for a pin. Lee kicks out, but Luna wears her down with a submission hold and connects with a vertical suplex on her. Luna grabs her signature chain from under the ring, then sends Lee crashing into the bottom turnbuckle and wraps the chain around the top turnbuckle. Lee levels Luna with a boot, then rains down right hands on Luna and rocks her with a kick from the apron. Lee then looks to land a running knee on Luna, but Luna sees her coming and connects with a powerbomb. She locks in a sleeper on Lee, but Lee reverses into a pinfall. Luna kicks out, but Luna delivers a German suplex to Lee and follows it up with Luna Landing to her for the win.
Winner: Dani Luna
— We then head backstage, where Alisha Edwards debates signing a new contract with TNA Wrestling as Moose, Tommy Dreamer, and Carlos Silva stand by, Moose encourages Alisha to resign and suggests that she be his manager, to which she likes the idea and signs the contract.
— AJ Francis then makes his way to the ring. Mance Warner and Steph De Lander follow.
AJ Francis vs. Mance Warner (w/ Steph De Lander)
The bell rings and Warner fires off forearms on Francis. Warner clotheslines Francis out of the ring, then delivers a running knee to him on the outside and off the apron. Warner sends Francis crashing into the ring steps, but Francis sends Warner crashing off the ring steps with a Gorilla Press and dumps him back in the ring.
Francis jams his knee into the back of Warner's neck, then lands a running knee on Warner. Warner rocks Francis with a forearm and runs him over with a boot, then pokes Francis in the nose and sends him crashing into the mat. Francis then grabs a chair under the ring, but Warner takes the chair from Francis and cracks it across his spine. The referee then calls for the bell and disqualifies Warner for using the chair.
Winner: AJ Francis (via disqualification)
— Mickie James makes her way to the ring.
James says it's good to be back in Nashville, then says she heard what Ash had to say and demands that she come to the ring.
The Personal Concierge instead appears, but James tells him to leave. Ash storms out to ringside and says people paid to see her rather than James. James says she thought Ash could come to the ring by herself so they could have a chat as friends, then says she remembers a time that Ash was released. She says she called Tommy Dreamer and got Ash a job when she was released from WWE. Ash claims she was the hottest free agent at the time, but James says everyone knew it wasn't true.
Ash says TNA Wrestling came after her because she's trendy every single week. James says Ash isn't trendy for the reasons that she thinks, then says without the fans, she wouldn't be standing in the ring. She says for the first time, the fans believed in Ash when she arrived in TNA Wrestling but Ash still turned her back on them.
Ash says she doesn't care about the people, then says she only cares about herself and the TNA Knockouts World Championship. Ash says it was none of James' business what happened to her, then says she put in the hard work and says she's better than the fans, legends, and James herself. She says she's hardcore country, then says if Ash doesn't want to talk about things like a lady, they can fight instead.
We head backstage and see James' son sitting with Jody Threat and Gabby LaSpisa. The Elegance Brand stumbles across the trio, and James looks to run backstage when she sees this. Heather By Elegance and M By Elegance attack James on the entrance ramp, and Ash tells James to cry about her son. She lands a DDT on James on top of the entrance ramp and heads to the back with the rest of The Elegance Brand.
— Order 4 makes their way to the ring. Jada Stone follows.
Jada Stone vs. Tasha Steelz (w/ Jason Hotch and John Sklyer)
The bell rings and Steelz runs over Stone with a pair of clotheslines. She jams her boot into her chest in the corner, then fires off chops on her. Steelz ends up on the outside and regroups with Hotch and Skyler. Stone looks to fly to level Steelz, but ends up hitting Hotch and Skyler. Steelz then looks to fly herself to level Stone, but Stone moves out of the way and Steelz accidentally levels Hotch and Skyler.
Steelz dumps Stone back in the ring and lands a clothesline on her, then runs over Stone with a kick to her chest and goes for a pin. Stone kicks out and rocks Steelz with a right hand to her face, then delivers a kick to her and follows it up with a Sling Blade. She goes for a pin, but Steelz kicks out.
Stone looks to fly off the ropes, but Steelz intercepts her with a German suplex and sets up for a cutter on her. Stone then reverses into a pinfall for the win.
Winner: Jada Stone
— After the match, Hotch and Skyler dumps Stone back in the ring. Steelz is waiting with a cutter to her and rains down right hands on her, then stands tall above Stone.
Tom Hannifan introduces Maclin as he says that it wasn't easy for TNA management to agree to the upcoming conversation. Maclin then makes his way to the ring surrounded by security guards, and Hannifan says he's been friends with Maclin for more than a decade. He says they're honest with one another and asks Maclin to explain his recent actions involving Mike Santana.
Maclin says it isn't about Santana, but about him and getting fired from TNA Wrestling. He says many in the back thanked him for what he did for the company after he got fired in Feast or Fired, then says the day he got fired made him think. He says he volunteered for his country in the United States Marine Corps, but Hannifan cuts Maclin off and asks Maclin if he's really saying that everything about his past justifies what he did to Santana. Maclin responds by saying Santana never showed up to one of their tag matches and later telling him that he was going through something, then says Santana was being selfish and tells Hannifan that he could talk about all the struggles he's faced in the past and continues to face in the present in his personal life.
Maclin says himself and Hannifan are supposed to be friends, then says Hannifan is supposed to be on his side. He says he's the reason that Hannifan has his job in TNA Wrestling, and Hannifan tells Maclin that he's right in saying he got him the job. He says he's tried everything to help Maclin, but Maclin never takes accountability and always blames someone else.
Maclin lands a right hand on Hannifan's midsection, but Mike Santana's music hits and he runs into the ring from the crowd. Maclin retreats to the outside as Santana checks on Maclin.
— The System makes their way to the ring. The Righteous and The Hardys follow.
Eight Man Tag Team Match: The System vs. The Righteous
Jeff Hardy and Eddie Edwards begin the action. The bell rings and the two lock up. Jeff levels Eddie with a right hand, then follows it up with a dropkick and an elbow drop. Brian Myers and Vincent tag in, but Vincent levels Myers with a clothesline. Matt Hardy tags back in and catapults Myers into the bottom rope, but Cedric Alexander tags in as Jeff tags in on his side.
Jeff wears down Alexander with a submission hold, but Vincent tags in and immediately tags out to Matt. Matt and Vincent then level Myers with a double back elbow.
Back from the break, Bear Bronson tags in and lands a sit-out powerbomb on Vincent. He goes for a pin, but Vincent tags out and Myers tags back in. He wears down Vincent with a submission hold, but Bronson tags back in and lands an elbow drop on Vincent. Alexander then tags back in and delivers a German suplex to Vincent, but Matt tags back and starts taking out Alexander, Myers, and Alexander. He delivers a double Twist of Fate to Eddie and Myers, then catches Eddie with Twist of Fate and pins him. Eddie kicks out before everyone starts taking out one another.
Vincent makes the blind tag in, but Eddie sends Matt crashing into the mat with a sidewalk slam. He catches Vincent with a Shining Wizard in the ring and pins him for the win.
Winners: The System
— After the match, The System continues beating down The Hardys and The Righteous. Moose's music hits and he makes his way out. He clocks Bronson on the entrance ramp, then levels Alexander and Myers with right hands. Bronson catches a kick from Moose, and The System takes advantage by beating him down in the ring. Alisha Edwards runs out to the ring to protect Moose and tells The System to stop beating him down. She continues berating them as the show goes off the air.
