    Default The Pope gets himselves an iPod



    The Pope has reportedly become a man of iPod.

    Benedict XVI has been given an iPod Nano as a present by staff at Vatican Radio.

    Officials have loaded it with his favourite tracks, mostly religious music, plus pieces by Beethoven, Mozart and Chopin.

    The pontiff has even been spotted around the Vatican using his iPod and distinctive white earphones, according to The Sun.

    "He is very pleased with the iPod," a spokesman told the paper.

    "The Holy Father likes to unwind listening to it and is of the opinion that this sort of technology is the future."

    Some of the other well known iPod users include the Queen, President Bush and Tony Blair.

    Hey besides the religous stuff he listens to some good stuff, cant go wrong with mozart or chopin.

    He just wanted to be more like the Queen...

    Good on him if he wants to listen to music whats stopping him.

    And whats wrongwith religious music... Thats the onlything thats on my mp3 player although I could hazard a guess and say that mine is more modern music than his.
    HE loved us so much that HE paid the ultimate sacrifice so that WE wouldn't have to...
