PWITNA's Monty Brown underwent knee surgery yesterday, causing him to miss TNA's debut in his hometown of Detroit, Michigan last night.
Brown actually blew his knee out several weeks back and worked the Destination X PPV main event against NWA champion Christian Cage with his knee taped up and braced.
The word going around at last night's house show was that Brown wasn't expected to be out a long period of time.

He did a great job for someone with a busted wheel. Hopefully it isn't a serious injury like a torn ACL or something. The fued between him and CC has been pretty good for awhile and it's a shame that it can't continue for a little while longer.

Damn this sucks for Monty. I've been a fan of his since his arrival in TNA, and hopefully this knee injury won't keep him out for that long, and that he can make a quick and speedy recovery
