Woman Fakes Her Kidnapping To Avoid Work
A 21-year-old German woman who did not feel like going to work at a fast food restaurant sent her parents a text message saying she had been kidnapped.
Her text message led to a massive search throughout the region by police in the town of Straubing. Then just as suddenly as she had disappeared on December 23, she turned up the following morning saying the kidnapper had set her free.
But after she was questioned by police for details of the kidnapping over the Christmas holiday, she admitted making up the story. Saying it was because she owed a colleague about 25 euros ($30) and did not have the money.
Unfortunately for her, she now faces a fine of up to 1,000 euros ($1300).

She might as well have just called in dead. Must have a harsh boss or something.
