Even with no Wrestling Society X on the air, Tuesday night's ECW on Sci-Fi episode drew a series-low 1.3 rating (1.49 million total viewers). That is down from the 1.5 rating last week, a drop of 300,000 viewers. The quarter hours ranged from 1.2 to 1.4, with a 1.6 overrun.
Vince McMahon is said to be on a mission to "fix" the ECW brand because he's had enough of the lowered ratings and the various problems. He wants to make it a brand that can stand on its own two feet and be a long-term permanent fixture in the WWE world.

Well, IMO, I think they need to stop moving Smackdown stars on there, build there own stars. If people wanted to see those wrestlers, they just need to tune into Smackdown and or Raw. 2 or 3 is ok, but IMO there going overboard with other brands stars going to ECW, try building it up alittle with your own stars.

^Pretty much summed it up for me there, if they are going to introduce new superstars, they need to breed them instead of bringing the non televised guys from other brands to fill the hole.

Hopefully we'll see a sign of things changing this coming ECW. Whnc Vince gets motivated to dosomething, he really pushes it. But havig the ECW Champ at WM in the main event not even defending his title is lame but that could change. The wrestlers could have their own stipulation of IC Title vs ECW Title.

Vince overall is a great owner, yes, it is his fault to some extent, but there are other people involved, not just him, when somthing goes wrong, people tend to place all the fault on him at times. There are the writers and all the wrestlers also, if a bad PPV is put on, its not really Vinces fault, its to some extent the wrestlers for not doing as good as they should of.

Damn, you bring up a good point there... But really then, they should make some of the RAW and SD! writers to ECW. If they are the same, well not to much effort is going into ECW....

1. Stop calling ECW lol
2. For sure don't take Punk off the show.
3. Stop taking SD stars and putting them there.
4. Bring wrestlers in that most people haven't seen before and make them strickly the ECW talent.
