    Default Mark's WM23 Review.

Ok, here’s my view on Wrestlemania….

First of all… who the fuck picked the match order? Did someone close their eyes and just point? Lol

So, first match, MITB. I was surprised at that, I thought Benoit/MVP would open it, but still, MITB was one of the matches of the night. The good spots in the match where Hardy jumping off the ladder onto Edge, the RKO on Punk off the ladder, and the Green Bay Plunge to Hornswaggle, which got me on my feet. I really thought Orton was going to win, but it’s a good choice having Kennedy as the winner.

Kane/Khali was a really good match for two heavyweights like them two. Kane slamming Khali was obviously done to equal Hogan slamming Andre 2 years ago at WM3. But it was a good match all in all, and I expected Khali to win.

Benoit/MVP was my Match Of The Night. I never knew MVP could get that technical, and keep up with Benoit as well. I would have loved to have seen MVP win after that, but I suppose WWE think MVP isn’t ready for a title run yet. And like other people are saying, I can’t see how people are overlooking this match, this will definetly stick in my memory for years to come.

Tista/Taker as the 4th match. WTF? Anyway, this was another good match, and I lol’d at Cole’s orgasm when Tista put Taker through the table. Right up until the end, I truly didn’t know who was going to win this, but I’m glad Taker won it. I didn’t want Taker’s streak to even end, let alone have Tista end it. Taker, 15-0 and World Champion. Impressive.

ECW Originals v The New Breed was a bit…. Meh to be honest. There was nothing to remember in it, but I don’t watch ECW, so I’m not going to comment to much on this one. One of the weakest matches of the night though IMO.

The Battle Of The Billionaires didn’t really excite me, and it was all a bit rushed IMO. I expected Lashley to win, and as soon as Shane came out, it cemented it more in my head that Lashley was going to win. Trump didn’t look interested to me throughout the match. And I truly didn’t think Vince was going to get his head shaved after the match, but my god he did lol, I almost felt sorry for him… almost.

During Ashley/Melina, I was too busy looking at Torrie Wilson to pay attention to the match, so lets move on.

Cena/HBK. Anyone that can say HBK is a has-been after that needs their head checked. That was a great, long WM match. And I like Cena, but why Vince, why have this man keep the title every time? Even if HBK held the gold for a month or two I’d be happy. Cena’s entrance was quite good, but nothing special.

All in all, I thought WM was average. It wasn’t bad, but it was certainly no where near the last two Wrestlemania’s. I’d give 7 out of 10. The set was fucking awesome, the best I’ve ever seen in my 9 years of watching WWE.

i agree i was suprised at the ability of mvp but then benoit does 3 moves and wins..... and kennedys plunge to hornswoggle and edge being broken on the ladder were the most memorable moments of that wm to me
