- Vince McMahon has been working out harder than usual backstage, implying that he may be getting ready for a match at Wrestlemania. A match with Vince facing Finlay is likely, although Mick Foley's name has also been discussed.
- So far the only confirmed sure fire names to be inducted in to the 2008 Hall Of Fame are Mae young and Ric Flair. Other serious contenders are announcer Gordon Solie and Rocky Johnson, who if possible will be inducted by The Rock.
- Scott Hall was said to have suffered a breakdown in Puerto Rico prior to taking up WWE's rehab offer.
