Angle Says He Was Taking 16 Painkillers Every Three Hours

    - Kurt Angle was recently interviewed by ESPN and the question of drugs and steroids came up as usual. Angle mentioned that he was taking 12 to 16 painkillers every three hours at the height of his drug addition. Usually anymore than 4 a days is considered dangerous and overdoing it.

little more on it.. yet i cant find it at all on espn

-- ESPN.com recently had a "What happened to?" article on famous former Olympic gold medalists, including Kurt Angle. In the interview, Kurt claims that at the high point of his drug addictions, he was taking 12 to 16 painkillers every three hours. Angle also said he quit cold turkey in 2005 and hasn't taken a painkiller since. The article also mentions that Angle recently filmed four episodes as host of "Caught in the Action," a cross between Punk'd and Candid Camera, which is being produced by Spike TV. The article also notes that he tried to strike a deal with NBC to do the wrestling commentary at the Olympics, but they chose 2000 Olympics star Rulon Gardner instead.
