Default John Morrison will be a mid carder for life.

Doubt me on this, I can argue with the best of them. Morrison is nothing more then a glorified spot monkey, he has no real wrestling skill, all he can do is a few fancy flips. That is all. Watching a Morrison match is like watching a rookie train for life in the ring. It just seems like he is going through the motions. He can't tell a story in the ring all he does is flip after flip and the IWC eats his shit up while the casual fan doesn't give two shits and a piss about him.

He can't talk on the mic, he puts fans to sleep, literally whenever he picks up a mic to talk. The guy is the definition of a failed IWC Poster boy, just like Carlito and Shelton Benjamin before him. He's not entertaining, untalented and just boring. The IWC likes to talk about how he has never had his chance to shine and get his shot at the main event but I disagree.

2006 he was shoved into a feud with John Cena when Cena was red hot, he failed to connect with the audience even while being in a feud with the biggest star in the company and was placed back in the tag ranks with Kenny Dykstra before being moved to ECW. Now before he was moved to ECW he was nothing short of a jobber, but because of an accident that I will not mention he became the ECW champion and killed all it's credibility taking it from a 3rd world title to meaning as much if not less then the Cruiserweight title.

Was busted for steroids and came back 30 days later with Vince ready and willing to put him right back in a feud with the new ECW champ Punk, but the fans didn't want to see it as at Cyber Sunday 2007 a relatively unknown and unappreciated Miz got the fans vote into the match, what was Vince to do? The only thing he could do, he paired Morrison and Miz together where they controlled the tag ranks for two years with people expecting Morrison to come out looking better and like a bigger star, but it was The Miz who outshined Morrison for 2 straight years.

Now lets move to 2009, the draft night, Miz gets moved to RAW and Morrison to Smackdown, Morrison picks up clean victories over 2 World champions, Jeff Hardy and CM Punk twice. You're not doing to this to somebody unless yo have plans for them, but he got little reaction and Vince was forced to once again drop him down.

Skip ahead to September 2009, Rey is suspended and refuses to drop the title to Dolph Ziggler who at the time was the hottest upcoming star on Smackdown and drops it to John Morrison who had gone back to doing nothing. Morrison carries the title for a few months and then drops it to Drew McIntyre before becoming his bitch for 4 months straight.

He's had more then enough chances to make a splash in the main event scene, but he lacks any real skill what so ever, he went into Elimination Chamber and everybody was talking about how he came out looking strong WRONG!!!!, you know why? It's easy to come out of a match looking strong when by the time you get into the ring 2 of the 6 men are gone from the match.

People were saying he was going to win Money in the Bank, and I laughed. Why? Because it was obvious to anybody before they announced the participants who the 3 front runners where. Miz, McIntyre and Kofi.

Miz is well on his way to the WWE Elite, while Morrison once again has fallen back into the tag team ranks with another mid carder that Vince is trying to desperately make into a star.

Morrison will no doubt once again fail and his partner will come out of this looking like a real star, and i for one can't complain because outside of his IWC fanboys, Morrison is nothing more then a 2007-2010 version of what Shelton Benjamin and Carlito were in 2004-2006.

I like Morrison I just dont think he is main event material to your point. I think that he is improving ground wise, but I think he has 2-5 years before I can actually take him seriously

To survive in the WWE he really needs to learn to work the mic, until then he'll be thrown in tag teams until they get sick of him and release him.

I too think Morrison is really good at what he does, but I don't see him as main eventer and corwd/money drawer...at least for the next 3-4 years.

But the same with R-truth...I really like him, but I fear will not main event on a regular basis.

    Are you for real?!?

Morrison has no real wrestlingskill? Do you relalize what you are saying?

Morrison has achieved so much on the time he's been in WWE, and he is only going to be bigger. He's got the crowd behind him, and his fanbase is growing.
He is one of the most skilled wrestlers on the WWE Roster, together with Bourne, Jericho, Edge, Christian & Orton.

Did you see his match against Bourne on ECW last year? It was a MOTY candidate!

Morrison is the next Shawn Michaels, and with Michaels retireing after Mania, WWE is gonna need Morrison!

That's your best argument? Shawn is retiring so the WWE is going to need him? I can name 10 wrestlers on the current roster who are above and beyond Morrison.

And yes I did say he has no real wrestling skill. He's a spot monkey, that's not real wrestling skill it's doing flips and getting the crowd to "ooh" and "aah" much like Jeff Hardy did.

He'd look lost in the ring against somebody like Kurt Angle or Triple H, or even Cena. Why? Because they know how to tell a story when they wrestle and Morrison is just going through the steps. His matches are nothing more then spotfests and that is why the IWC loves him, because he is what the internet loves, spotmonkies. Until he gets some charisma and mic skill he's going as far as Shelton Benjamin.

^^ I don't take you seriously at all. You even have Morrison in your sig....

Calling Morrison a spotmonkey is a disgrace!

What do you call wrestling? To big guys like Batista and Triple H cuddling around in the ring?

That sig was made for me back in 2008 when they were in a tag team and the tag team champions, because I hardly come here anymore i haven't gotten it changed. And there is a reason why Morrison is in the background.

Morrison is a spot monkey, he has no real WRESTLING skill. he can only jump and flip.

Real wrestling? How about the likes of Dean Malenko, Ric Flair, Kurt Angle, Bret hart, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton, CM Punk, Chris Jericho, William Regal.

You know guys who actually possess real wrestling skill, who can chain wrestle and don't rely on being able to twist and turn through the air to impress the fans.

Also I don't watch WWE for real wrestling I watch it to be entertained, which is why i like guys like Christian, The Miz and CM Punk, they can talk and wrestle and can keep me entertained while guys like Morrison come out flip through the air and then what?

^^ I agree with you about a couple of the wrestlers you mentioned.

Have you seen John Morrison's match against Evan Bourne back in WWECW? You don't call that wrestling?

It was flips, not wrestling it was spot wrestling like you will find on the indies, nothing good about it. Sydal is a spot monkey as well.

^^ Then I really wonder what you think of as wrestling.

Even Kurt Angle and Shawn Michaels do flips, as you call it.

And I guess you are one of those mainstream wrestling fans who disses everything Indy companies do huh?
As the matter of fact, ROH, PWG, DG, Chikara ++ gives their fans more wrestling in one show than WWE does in a whole year.

Except that's not what I was doing.

I agree that indy wrestling has some quality. (I, in fact, own several ROH DVDs, among other things), but often in 2 hours of that (not a compilation, but a particular day's show), you will find as much quality as in the same-length show from either major company (which now includes several names used previously or now in ROH & other indy places).

the guys on the indies have something to prove so they're going to go all out to get a following, no matter how stupid or lame it might be, these "smarks" that shit up. It never gets over in a mainstream promotion.

And I have tried to watch a little PWG, ROH and even CZW and I never liked what I saw.

^^ Indy wrestler doesn't have anything to prove when it comes to the mainstream companies. Because the Indy promotions will always have a loyal fanbase that respects them.

You don't like Indy wrestling, that's your decision, and I respect that. Just don't diss people who likes indy wrestling or call indy wrestlers Spotmonkeys, cause that's a disgrace!

May I ask what you didn't like with PWG or ROH?

It's funny you telling me not to diss people who like indy wrestling while it's okay for you to diss Cena and his fans, or me for having different view on what wrestling is about.

Also I didn't like ROH because it was all wrestling, I don't mind wrestling but skits and such help move a feud along as well, but I guess when nobody there can work a mic they have to focus just on wrestling.

PWG, I dunno what I didn't like about it, I like some of the stars that are there, Hero, Ryan and others I even have a few matches on my computer like a Ki/Hero one where they only had one ring rope to use, that was exciting stuff, but I can't get into a show because I find many of the wrestlers boring.

^^ Ok, I understand. I also found ROH and PWG boring to begin with because they didn't have so much build ups.

But since 2006, they have build up feuds with segments and mic talk. And saying that no one in ROH or PWG can handle a mic is not true. There are many wrestlers in both promotions that have good mic skills. Take Austin Aries for example.
