According to Jerry Sorrentino of The Sports Courier, former WWE Diva Mickie James has signed with TNA Wrestling and will debut October 7 on the company's live "Impact" broadcast.
According to a source who has spoken personally today with former WWE Diva Mickie James, it's official. Mickie James has signed with TNA Wrestling to compete in their Knockouts Division.
The former Women's Champion is foraying into country music and has been rumored to sign with TNA, despite her manager's recent denials. More on this as it develops.
Update: Sources within a local New York radio station confirm that Mickie James has signed with TNA Wrestling and will debut with the company on the live October 7 episode of Impact. As far as what name Mickie will compete as, we will just have to wait and see.
James wrestled for TNA back in 2003 briefly before heading over to OVW. Mickie is a five time WWE Women's Champion and one time Divas Champion. She was also the PWI Woman of the year in 2009.

OMFG! I didn't expect this to happen! Now they'll debut another WWE mega-star, instead of using one of their own Knockouts who they released that were just as good or better than Mickie (Raisha, Kong etc.) TNA give me a break, this is horrible and Mickie shouldn't have done it because this taints her good name now.

nobody wants to see Haas and Benjamin. There's already enough of tag teams there they need more X-Division guys like Helms and Carlito. What are Haas and Benjamin gonna do? Have Kurt Angle carry them again? None of them is gonna be a major singles draw and that's what TNA are desperately in need of. If tag teams were to draw then WWE would be down in the dumps and RoH would be #1
