    Default Latest Bischoff Rant

    Eric Bischoff posted the following on his Twitter page:

    "Seriously...I get why most people think wresting fans are morons. The dumbest 10% make 90% of the noise and create the perception. Congrats to the challenged few that keep the image alive! While you may never amount to much, at least you have a village. Wade Keller can be the mayor of the Village of Idiots, and when Dave Sherer finds his penis under 50 pounds of fat he can be Barney Fife! FYI: I have enough money, enough success OUTSIDE OF WRESTLING that I dont give 2 sh*ts if I offend 'wrestling fans.' Im not bickering, I am on a plane with nothing else to do but entertain myself with this tripe."

    Bischoff is pretty well correct. I mean, the dirt sheets (which we ALL read) regularly report half-baked theories and full blown lies, as gospel truths. Now, from our end of things, it's all in good fun and some of the scenarios are fun to discuss and b.s. about. But people like Meltzer are parasites, fabricating news and just flat out lying to their readers. I mean, where is the journalistic integrity?

    Journalists only care about one thing and that's creating/making up stories...they don't care about the ppl they hurt, or the lies that they tell, they only want to make money, and I don't blame Bischoff one bit for going off on Meltzer! Way to go Eric

    hmmm he removed that Wade Keller bit pretty quick because it wasn't on my FB. And no not everybody reads dirtsheets dudelang

    If Kenpachi used his Bankai, Armageddon, Ragnarok, and every other form of the apocalypse would march from the depths of hell with their demonic legions of death.... then take one look at him and turn tail and run.

    Not what I said. What I said was, most of the stuff that ends up on forums like this one come from dirt sheets. Sorry dude, facts are facts.

    And again, I'm not shittin' on it because to me, it's entertaining and all in good fun. However, when people actually start thinking Wrestling Observer and NoDQ actually KNOW half the crap they post, that's where it gets out of hand.

    I mean, Bischoff has to shoot shit out of the sky on his facebook all the time simply because someone read a rumor, took it as gospel truth, and spread said rumor.

    Mike's right on this one.

    A lot of the time what's posted on dirtsheets is theories and ideas occasionally dressed up as coming from a source.

    Nothing wrong with it for the majority of us as the whole point of forums such as this one is to get every bit of wrestling information that interests us and comment on it and/or to speculate on it further.

    For someone like Eric Bischoff however he'll get a lot of negativity from it whether justified or not so on occasion he's gonna react to it.
