Default Wisconsin man called 911 on sex partner for ‘snoring like a train’

Wisconsin man called 911 on sex partner for ‘snoring like a train’

November 12, 2013 2:37 PM By Cora Van Olson

In the wee hours of November 10, 2013, around 4:30 a.m., a reportedly very drunk Benjamin Duddles, 41, called the police emergency line to have “a female removed from his bed,” saying that he was not even sure “how she got into his apt,” but that she was “snoring like a train and he wants her out,” according to the dispatcher’s notes.

Once on the scene, the officers determined that the “unknown” female got into Duddles’ apartment and, consequently his bed, after they got drunk together and had sex. Duddles later went into the living room and fell asleep on the couch. When he woke up and returned to bed he couldn’t wake her up or shut her up, or even remember how she got there, so he called police.

Responders were able to wake the woman and determine that she was medically sound, but suffered from sleep apnea. Officers advised Duddles that because he had invited to the woman into his home, this was his problem and not theirs. They then let her get back to sleep in the bed, and according to the report, “He was provided the comfort of his couch for the evening and to work out the ‘issue’ in the morning.”

    No arrests were made.
