More On The Eddie Guerrero Mentions On WWE TV

02/08/2006 - PWInsider is reporting that prior to running the storyline in which Rey Mysterio dedicated his Royal Rumble performance to Eddie Guerrero, WWE approached the late wrestler's family members about the plan.

WWE also told the Guerrero family that it was going to have the heels talk badly about Eddie; Rey would then come to Eddie's defense.

While it is not believed that the Guerrero family was enthused about the idea, there is no indication that they were extremely upset either.

the comments are a bit distasteful but it's also a storyline and if they arent gonna get a reaction for the crowd they'll end it and I seriously think that they need creative writers like me and wolf to help stir smackdown out of the gutter.

If I were Eddie's family, I would've rejected allowing WWE to use Eddie's name on-screen, but even if they said no, WWE would have more than likely still gone ahead with the idea
