Angry John Cena To Appear on WWE SmackDown Every Week Through October 27

John Cena will make his return to WWE programming this week ahead of his upcoming match at the Superstar Spectacle.

Last week, it was confirmed that the 16-time WWE World Champion will be a part of the upcoming event in India, the first WWE event in India since 2017. It was later confirmed that Cena will team with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth 'Freakin' Rollins to face Imperium's Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci at the event.

In a press release sent in to SEScoops, WWE confirmed that Cena will make his return to programming this Friday, on the September 1, episode of SmackDown from the Giant Center in Hershey, PA. This will be the go-home SmackDown before the Superstar Spectacle, which will take place on September 8.

Cena's most recent return to WWE programming won't conclude in India however. The statement also confirmed that Cena will be appearing every Friday night for SmackDown until the end of October.
